It is almost impossible when you are in a crisis, to evaluate the impact on that crisis, of “new conditions”.

I believe that people like you and Web sites like No Quarter serve a valuable service in trying to stay “rational neutral parties” in online discussions like this one.

In following up on my previous statement regarding Islam and the Baha’i Faith.
Currently, Iran prosecutes those who follow the Baha’i Teachings (deaths sentences of course).
WHY?
The Baha’i's believe the following social responsibilities are to:
Abandonment of all forms of prejudice
Give assurance to women of full equality of opportunity with men
Recognition of the unity and relativity of religious truth
The elimination of extremes of poverty and wealth
The realization of universal education
The responsibility of each person to independently search for truth
The establishment of a global commonwealth of nations
The recognition that true religion is in harmony with reason and the pursuit of scientific knowledge\
Why would the Muslim see the Baha’i with such disdain!
Islam has no tolerance for anyone, or any other form of worship.
I am not a Baha’i follower just a student of different religions and belief’s. So with the current world affairs and all that has happen, I find myself less tolerant of Islam and any other form of abuse/dictorship.

when larry first posted his ideas about this i had hoped we could have frank and enriching discussions. i had hoped to learn more about the situation. and i did learn a few things. but i won’t be eager to be part of discussions again with those who aren’t open to it. and it is a far reaching situation. there is no discussion just ranting at each other now. that seems to include the media, politics and most discussions now. peace? yeah right!

If you do not believe like us you must convert, or else!
The man who created the Baha’i faith believed that we all worship the same God and therefore belong to the same family even though we worship differently.
This man was a Muslim and from Iran. The Muslim declared him a heretic and murdered him.
So Islam as a tolerant religion NOT!!
I believe WIII will be brought on by the Muslims and there hateful and intolerance of anyone who worships or believes differently.

I have become a big fan of yours over time and I can see how it frustrates to argue this, but buddy, sometimes you gotta yell the truth rather than tell it.
I may be wrong but I think its possible to get through to people.
I have been speaking on the fact that this is defining itself as a case of evil vs. good and defining that by breaking down the major stated philosophical goals of the two warring sides.
One side wants to be left alone and promises that if that is done that they will be good neighbors and will happily share their successful technology and sciences to mutual benefit.
The other side wishes to kill every single member of the other group, destroy everything they ever touched and then turn and go after the next ones they hate.
If this question were set before a class and there was no mention that the one side was a bunch of Jews, what do you believe the conclusions would be that the students would make?

You got it right my friend. Islam, by its own definitions and stated goals is THE most intolerant religion on earth. That some wonderful muslims exist and practice tolerance and openness shows that the Religion itself is not to blame, its the mullahs who tell lies about the Quran and interpret it falsely who are to blame but if their followers cannot see that their, “My way or the highway,” attitude will result in horror.
B’hai’s are peaceful and tolerant, therefore, according to the Mullahs, they must die.
The more I dwell on this, the more sure I am that this has defined itself as a case of good vs evil.
So, no matter how compassionate the intent, no matter how many die, the reason it is happening is that evil men have brought hell into their own town and are dancing in the blood.
That fact is indisputable.

Zeke, how can they say this woman who was yelling to the Jews go back to the ovens was not representing the views of the those around her. This hate is taught in their schools and mosques. It is in their daily lives to a point that some of the things they say are ridiculous and unfounded. They blame the Jews for everything and never find fault in themselves.
So it’s OK to shoot missiles from schools, hospitals and civilian populated areas. Using Humans as shields is great and a good idea according to Hamas and Hezbollah. I don’t hear any protest from the Muslims regarding this disregard for the innocent people. Ok… gosh, right their Martyrs (even if they didn’t agreed to it).

If Hamas was dropping bombs on America, You will go after Hamas, but Izrael can not. Palestinians got Gaza, now Hamas is using ;woman,children as shield and attacks on Izrael continue. We dont have to like Jews, but try to be fair. Hamas said, that Jews never have their own coutry in Middle East, and Jews they were as etnic group. Need more informations about!!!
