Susan, I agree with Fred C Dodds. We should get back to the gold standard expediently, dismantle the stock exchange and create a World that relies on the community and not Globalisation.

Governance was meant to set standards that all community members would accept and rely on as reasonable cooperation. Instead it has been used to push the barrel by zealous crusadors and greedy people. Neither are in touch with a community. The Community, for its part is largely ignorant and impressionable. Therefore the fissile arguments [which, often, in the wider scope are groundless] used to justify rules are perpetually chirped by the crickets in a surrogate anthem.

Having said that, there are many positive things that happen and places like this indicate that community may have lost its identity, but it hasn’t lost its spirit.

I read through the Hagel and Leverett pieces, and I agree with Clemons that Hagel never correctly pins the blame. And to add to Hagel’s tour de farce, every barbaric tincan madman the world over now thinks he has to go-ahead to torture with impunity because the Shining City is doing it. *Spit*

Hagel and Leverett’s words are fine, noble, sane and admirable, but no grand bargain and no exacerbation of the bu$hCo tour de farce will occur until Darth and the Hood Ornament are out of office. Just ain’t gonna happen with these losers with 438 more days to abuse the power. Presented with all the right things to do, they’ll choose the exact opposite. Treason. Premeditated.

We all know what is coming. Who gains from a weak American “Democracy”? The Black Watch soldier I had the pleasure of buying a drink a few years back could not understand why America would elect this man twice?? gonna make it kinda of hard for the repuglicans to blame all of this shit on the Democrats now that Senator Hagel has fully documented the destructive incompetence of the bush administation

and from the looks of it, the dollar will fail long before a Democrat sits in the Whitehouse, so the GOP is gonna have to take credit for that too

the repukelican party is left with gay bashing and blaming Democrats for george bush’s failed invasion and occupation of Iraq

at least the repukes can count on their dedicated koolaide drinkers, which is less than 30% of the voting public
