I look at events in terms of what will happen years in the future.
I believe that Iraq is the most important strategic decision in history.
Looked really bad for a long time and it certainly is not over.
History will show that it was a brilliant strategy for preventing world resource wars which could be the end of civilization and the death to hundreds of millions. Hard to quantify of course, but I do believe that Bush will someday be viewed as a Truman.

Obama is going to take on Social Security and Medicare calling it deficit reduction while he spends nearly a trillion and makes Bush’s tax cuts of 3.5 Trillion for the rich permanent.
