I may not be posting as much as during the election but I was posting frantically in support for Hillary and then for Mac and Sarah.
I thought this past year was the year of the woman.
I was not only comfortable with the thought of a woman president but was prepared to fight for this historical moment.
I vote or hire based on the merits. Hillary by far was the superior candidate and it was only because of deep seated sexism that she lost.
I have only my own experience to guide me. Several years ago my company had problems with quality control. I decided that a woman production worker who had many years experience was the perfect choice to run my plant. Liz was the first in the industry to hold such a position and because of my unbiased decision my company is now the envy of all who scoffed at my original decision.

Peace, SM, and thank you for supporting HRC. We can disagree about matters–esp. about Obama and GWB–, but I could do without your personal attacks, your belittling characterizations and assumptions about me, my thoughts or beliefs. I felt that some of your comments were hostile and unnecessary. For example:

“I guess your an admirer of Hoover who did nothing….
Obviously you have no clue about the grave threats facing this country. I’m glad Obama does…. Soon you may be begging for whatever it takes to keep yourself alive.”

Your comments reminded me of the toxic environment at MyDD where posters are accused of this or that and attacked for having a different POV or opinion.

OMG, sometimes when she speaks I am on my knees thanking God for her. I have to think that HRC gave Obama the election under the condition that she would be SOS and things would be run HER way. Nothing she spoke of today in terms of foreign policy seemed any different to what we heard from her on the campaign trail. Which is what I love about her. But definitely different from BO’s campaign rhetoric. This woman will change the world folks, and while she is keeping things under control worldwide, the rest of us can get busy and get the economy back together.

Boxer should be ashamed of herself — even Feinstein talked about the sexism and was one of the only Senators to stand up for Hillary to the bitter end. Feinstein even boycotted the convention — claiming an injured ankle.

I doubt that will happen. I don’t think anyone with more than a couple of functioning brain cells would want a Constitutional Convention. That does, however, leave out the entire DNC.
