      Beyond scary Kathleen it’s comical….this administration is one “Park Place” short of Monopoly….If that happens, none of us will pass GO. Blackwater is one of many hundreds that are available on the Boardwalk. We have had a CIA IG, a State IG, a DOD IG, all under investigation at some point in the last few years. And CIFIUS traded B&O for what? we will never know. Pick your piece and roll the dice….

      I wouldn’t know about that, Centrocitta, but as of this morning I can say with certainty that the bells of the Catholic church next door to my office building chime every hour, so I guess part their purpose IS to mark the time of day.

      Who knew? And I always thought, like the call to prayer, church bells only coincidentally marked the time of day as they rang to remind the faithful of their responsibilities.

    Good cartoon, Mr Naif, but I wonder if “the truth behind the truth” has been misrepresented. In my opinion, our Lebanese mole’s clandestine residential status was as much part of the plan as her initial engagement. We live in the age of dirty tricks. The other item, is a beautiful example of corrupt puffery and what it means to be beyond reproach.

    Mind you, with the fall of Bearings Bank (the Queen’s bank) at the behest of Nick Leeson does demonstrate that utter incompetence in high places occasionally becomes a factor.

      As a kid I sold Kirby’s door to door. My dentist says he is really an eye doctor. The last time I had to move I was given 1 month notice…lucky for me it was only cross town….or should I say “just visiting” ? Just imagine the job they will do cleaning the WH….all those papers missing from the national archive will make Sandy B. look like a run o’ the mill shop lifter…God knows what Barneys’ done to the Rugs….
