Ten Minutes to “No Topic Taboo,” Jay’s No Quarter Radio Show!

Back before his passing last year, Tim Russert closed his show with the tag line, “If it’s Sunday, it’s Meet the Press”. I thought I would paraphrase so … “If it’s Wednesday night, it’s “No Topic Taboo…Everything Else with Jay.”
Assuming my voice survives my special Inauguration Day Counter-Programming show and The Warrior’s show on Tuesday night, yours truly will be back in his usual home, every Wednesday at 9PM Eastern for another edition of “No Topic Taboo…Everything Else with Jay.” Now this week I think we will try something different.
After Tuesday’s events I can’t speak for everyone but I, for one, would like to take a short break from the gloom and doom of the real world. So I am taking the show in that direction for one night. Thursday morning during the morning news shows, the nominees for the year’s Academy Awards will be announced. One of the films getting Oscar buzz is “The Wrestler” starring Mickey Rourke, who recently won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a film for his portrayal.
With that in mind, I will bring on Brimstone, a professional wrestler & an actor who will bring us inside the squared circle talk a bit about life in the biz. To get a taste of “Brimmy” as I call him, visit his website.
As always whether I have a guest or not everything is on the table and the show is yours. We have a senator about to be named in my home state of New York, a Super Bowl about to be played with a very special half-time show, and then there are those real world issues of the first day of a new administration. It’s all in play if you want it.
