We (our world) is facing major crisis. This crisis deals with various issues including the economy, health, and loss of our moral compass (ie we need to get back to basic human values and striving for human excellence). We need to continue to inform and educate each other in an effort to: Best case scenario- empower our citizens so they can get more involved to help change bad situations at home and around the globe and Worst case scenario- raise the social consciousness to the point that when we are asked to step up to the plate to make a decision (vote, for example) or take action (enlist to fight an illegal/immoral war effort, sign a petition, donate money to a charity etc...) we will have a basis for choosing what action or decision to take. We need to continue to stay informed. We need to be VERY discriminatory as to where to go for 'NEWS'... We need to ' focus high beams of light' on these atrocities around the world. Most importantly, we need NOT beat ourselves up if we are limited as to how we can change things. We MUST take care of our own basic needs first and the needs of our families and friends and neighbors. Then- we will ALL be in better positions to help out the rest of the world in whatever ways we can.
