I spent what should have been the greatest moment of my life sobbing bitterly in a pub. I spent all of my savings to see the final fruits of my labor as a Field Organizer for the campaign, and thanks to the PIC's gross incompetence, my heart is broken. It is now clear (as it should have been throughout the campaign) that I was important only as long as the campaign was getting something out of me. Oh, and Mr. Gaines: to call us "discombobulated" demeans us.
