It is refreshing to listen to someone who knows what the hell she is talking about and has a deep understanding of all the players and all the issues -- without the need of a teleprompter or 300 advisors. Many here have been generous enough to wish President Obama well even though they are very unhappy about his gross lack of qualifications, flip flopping and doing everything for political expediency, among other things. For the past 8 years we have been demoralized by Bush, and Condi -- who is no great shakes in my view. Of course we are happy and energized. She has said to the State Dept and USAID, she won't put up with petty grievances or slackers, but she will respect and welcome new ideas if they help move things forward. She speaks without hesitation, without notes and with confidence. And she has a self depreciating sense of humor and that is really refreshing after all the arrogance, lack of humor of Obama.
