Sentimental, Cheap or Lying His Ass Off?

Kids, if you have not seen this put down your hot beverages. You are forewarned. If you snarf your coffee thru your nasal passages it is your own damn fault.

Here’s what is truly amazing. Daschle sold this horseshit for years and his constituents bought it. What a clown.

I sure hope he still has it, ‘cuz after today he might just need it!

Aren’t political ‘branding’ or ‘message’ ads just the cutest little ole thangs?

  • Docelder

Political “branding” hyperbole. After “The One” realized the “pinnacle” of branding hyperbole… nothing will ever be the same again.

Let’s not forget Chris Dodd who has his own VIP mortgage problems right now or John Edwards, the ultimate finger to the wind guy who seems to have vanished into thin air. Also now that Teddy can’t rely on Tom for health care reform, wonder if he regrets shutting Hillary out.

  • Bob

After this administration the Democratic party will be done for many years Obama can’t make a decision and the party has been taken over by Nancy and her gang.

    “That is outrageous – Outrageous.”

Everyone of these thugs, including Obama, will bit the dust. If one thought that they would get away by cheating Hillary in the primary, they are dreaming big time.

Here is the count so far:
    Judas (Bill Richardson)
    Horse face ( John Kerry)
    Adulterous ( Caroline Kennedy)
    Coward Dean ( Howard Dean)
    Cheating babyface ( John Edwards)
    Tax Cheater ( Tom Daschle)

Ha, he’s too cheap to pay his taxes, too!

Maybe this ad had some truth to it when it ran [or maybe not]. But there seems to be a corrosive effect on a lot of people once they get to Washington and stay for any length of time [I'm truly beginning to buy into term-limits]. Rather than bringing out the “better angels of their natures,” the national political scene seems to eat many people alive, turn them into something unrecognizable, even distasteful.

But then, some come to the scene totally corrupted. And just get worse.

    Oh, happy days!

  • I’m a Linda too

Thanks, this was good. The perfect example of their lying a88. He has a car and driver, but puts out this ad?

Mr. Daschle told committee staff that he had grown used to having a car and driver as Senate majority leader and didn’t think to report the perquisite on his taxes, according to staff members

    .”

    • lorac

I think the ad said it was a 1971 car which he’d driven for 15 years – so I’m guessing it was shot in 1986. Who knows, maybe the 20 years after that gave him the car and driver!

  • Judy L. NC

Had a thought. . .maybe THIS is one of the things Big Dawg is smiling about these days.

  • tillthen

Oh, Yeah, Its ‘ass off’ all the way.

  • DAB

So Obama, Geitner, Daschle and Kellefer get caught with their hand in the cookie jar and are forced to admit that their hand was in the cookie jar. Don’t see how that is admirable. However, Obama did play it in the best way possible under the circumstances — have to give him that much.

The medical issues in D.C. are back scratching, palm greasing, and a$$ kissing!
The rest of us who get sick are told to “get over it”!

  • mountainaires

Hellooooo, Jon Stewart, are you paying attention? This is too good to pass up, Jon. :-)

    bwahahahhaha….Thanks Larry!

  • OG

Hey, BHO – Instead of looking to up my taxes – hows about going after the no taxpaying losers you like hiring?

  • Idiocracy08

Funny, at 16 seconds into it, there’s a limo driving next to him. I bet it’s his limo!

A penny saved is a penny earned? See, no problem with him not paying his taxes. He saved that money, so in his mind…he earned it.

  • witness08

    Adulterous? Caroline?
Yeah, I know she supported Obama but I still have a soft spot for JFK’s daughter. Never thought she deserved to be appointed in spite of that. Let her run in the next election if she wants the job and let the people decide.
    Check this out.

Is Gov.Patterson spreading rumors because Caroline refused to Pay for Play?

  • Winston

Let’s cut him some slack. He has somehow managed not to drive it off of bridge and kill anyone.

By the way, in Ted’s excellent misadventure, I believe it was the far left side of the road where matter ended and gravity began. If that is the case then the event has so much more depth that I am at a loss to tap all its allegorical potential.
