Remember Hillary was the first to suggest openly and publicly that the Palestinians should have a state during Bill’s administration. The right and the left attacked her unmercifully. Now that view is the official policy of the US even under George Bush. She is a woman of courage and tenacity. Even Gringrich the #1 Clinton hater and her sworn enemy conceded on Greta’s show last night that Obama’s picks of Hillary, Gates, & Jones were excellent.

I think Secretary Clinton is a much needed breath of fresh air in the Executive Branch.. even though she is the official Obama spokesman, as referenced above, it is comforting to know that she is still the more experienced, knowlegable, and insanely atriculate person coming to the table… In these times of uncertainty with EVERYTHING, I am glad that there is and will be confidence in our govt, at least that the State Department.. This is the 1 GOOD decision Obama has made, (anybody pay their taxes lately?) definately in the Cabinet pick area, as it is already paying off 10 fold..

Hillary is a leader and she leads! She lets everyone know who is in charge, and what their responsibilities are and what is expected of them. She seems to be very well respected in foreign countries and is a wonderful representative for us in dealing with the many complex and difficult problems we will need to face. Bravo Madame Hillary! You are doing us proud!

And, did you all notice. AGAIN, and CONTINUING, Hamas was supposed to have agreed to a cease fire, but here they are firing missiles in to Israel.

A very sad and one-sided POV. Clinton(as Obama’s official spokesperson) and Obama continue with the never-ending support of Israel…no matter how many civilians in Gaza are slaughtered. No real change.

Israel has justified its assault on Gaza as entirely defensive, intended only to stop Hamas firing rockets on Israel’s southern communities. Although that line has been repeated unwaveringly by the MSM and officials since Israel launched its attack on 27 December, it bears no basis to reality. Rather, this is a war against the Palestinians of Gaza, and less directly those in the West Bank, designed primarily to crush their political rights and their hopes of statehood.

The most glaring evidence contradicting the Israeli casus belli is the six-month ceasefire between Hamas and Israel that preceded the invasion. True, Hamas began firing its rockets as soon as the truce came to an end on 19 December, but Israel had offered plenty of provocation. Not least it broke the ceasefire by staging a raid into Gaza on 4 November that killed six Hamas members. Even more significantly, it maintained and tightened a blockade during the ceasefire period that was starving Gaza’s 1.5 million inhabitants of food, medicine and fuel. Hamas had expected the blockade lifted in return for an end to the rockets.
