I missed the part of the SEC staff’s testimony in which they acted uncooperatively — that House chair is one pissed-off guy.

Sounds like they just highlighted the inability of the SEC to act.

Now being questioned about the level of pros at the SEC and their salary structure.

Highlighting that the SEC has professors working on these situations is a joke. Theory is miles behind practice.

GREAT JOB by Rep. Ackerman for castigating the SEC members for their incompetence. Really giving it to them!!

Markets were up close to 2% this morning and are now down 1% as Markopolos’ testimony and this testimony is revealing the level of regulatory incompetence.

WOW…the general counsel for the SEC just invoked executive privilege not to answer Congress’ questions. AMAZING!!

Watching this testimony highlights the difference in the level of competence and “guts” from Mr. Markopolos and these governmental employees.

when a fraud the likes of Bernie Madoff occurs and the body of evidence is presented by a Harry Markopolos it defies logic to think that there is not a real chance that there were parts of the fraud that may have been an “inside job”!!
