Update: Here's a video from the Obama campaign promoting their "Democrat for a Day" scheme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUE4Kp0YERs

This is very professional, expensively produced video.

SURE Obama himself didn't know his campaign was doing this stuff.

The paper flyer in Nevada might have been dismissed as an individual mistake ... the webpage in Florida (up from April till Nov and still in a Google cache at http://tinyurl.com/24pvlg ) ... might have been some kind of abberation....

But this expensive video? Will Saint Obama disavow all knowledge of THIS?

So we are truly followers?

"I understand that many of you are still a little skeptical," Obama said Friday night at a King banquet in Las Vegas. "But not as skeptical as you were before Iowa. Sometimes it takes other folks before we believe ourselves."

FOOOOOOD FIGHT!!! In who's name??

After appearing in Harlem, Clinton picked up the endorsement of the Rev. Calvin Butts. As dozens of Obama supporters shouted "Harlem for Obama," Clinton's supporters tried to drown them out by shouting "Hil-la-ry!"

Teak,

LOL! Tune in to Lou Dobbs for that.

You know who I blame for bringing the above issues into this race.
I'm not going to get over it.
I forgot to add that her campaign also pitted the young against the old when they wanted to prevent the youth from being part of the caucus in Iowa.
I won't forget. I agree with what Frank Rich said about this campaign.

I'm dreading it. For one thing, I'm not sure I can physically go. And my daughter is really dreading going to a caucus in the Seattle Wallingford area as a Hillary supporter. She just knows she'll be outnumbered and probably treated with hostility by Obama people.

I'm so hoping that Feb. 5 settles everything so I can skip it.

(Methinks the party insiders like the elitist element because they think they can control who votes more.)

If anybody is fool enough to think that both racism and sexism are not alive and well in the US, they are dreaming.

Add homophobia to that as well. What finally turned me off to Obama was his cynical McClurkin move in SC.

I hate the caucus as well, Susan. I railed against it on one of the Northwest blogs recently and got reamed by the party regulars for daring to poijnt out that in the 2000 election the WA State Caucus only brought in 2% of voters, while the primary brought in 40%. But, as you know, our state's Democratic party operatives decided they will only choose delegates from the caucus, and none from the primary.

It's an ass-backwarded, outmoded, unfair, eliitst, hostile-to-voters system that automatically disenfranchises many who cannot take five hours from their Saturday (those who must work, those are caretakers of children, the elderly, or the disabled, and those who may be disabled themselves) to go sit in a crowded room for 5 hours and have to declare their preferences publicly, before their friends and neighbors.

Gee, and I remember the old days, when we fought for the right of all to vote freely, privately, and without intimidation. I'm just such a romantic.

I agree with you Cee, in saying nice guys finish last. (See John Edwards) What is an interesting subtext is both Hillary and Obama are quite familar with the "rough and tumble" nature of Chicago style politics. Hillary wrote of her childhood growing up in a Republican household. Where as Obama learned it in the 313.

Nevada is "rough and tumble" state.

President Hillary Rhodam Cinton
President Barack Hussein Obama

This is how they would be referred to I think, no?

If anybody is fool enough to think that both racism and sexism are not alive and well in the US, they are dreaming. Given that, why is it that watching the MSM, we hear..."well the black vote the hispanic vote, the woman vote, the angry white man vote...went to this or that candidate?
Why not the the illegal immigrant vote? We will have to wait for the General for that one.

This is the second time in 48 hours I have heard about bot calls. People who employee these tactics should be required to state the company making the call and the persons who paid for the service. They also should be required to have a REAL caller ID. I am sick and tired of my caller ID feature getting jacked. Last night we got a phone call in support of Obama. I seems like I ought to call John Kerry up and thank him for it. ( I don't want calls from any 527)
I have worked with these systems and these call centers have the potential ability to bury the phone circuits on a national level. Keep in mind that Karl Rove could have paid for this service and you might never find out.

Crap! even bowtied Tucker wants to know where these calls came from. Is there a web site these phone-bot companies have to "register" at?

From the home page of the Las Vegas Sun:

Clinton carried five of the sites on the strip, despite Culinary

The victory in Nevada was decisive and included a stunning showing at the nine controversial at-large sites on the Las Vegas Strip. She won seven of the nine sites, according to Sun reporters inside each caucus room.

The Culinary Union had painted itself as the state’s presidential kingmaker all year. It ran an aggressive field program but did not endorse Obama until last week, just 10 days before the caucus. The outcome demonstrates that the endorsement itself was counter to the wishes of the union’s rank and file. Continue reading ...
