        Ahh did you not hear the good news? They cut our tax break from 1000 to 800 so that the stimulus bill would not be so large. What a great place to start! Screw the little people some more! Im sure none of the envioromental causes had to take a cut though. WEW thats a relief!

      I think it was Michelle Malkin who did a post on this, and how they happened to get the tickets for the event. IN other words, it was no coincidence that a homeless woman got tickets, and got to ask questions.

      it sounds like a set up, to get people to return to the *obama is the messiah* days of the primary.

    Ha, I’ve got a lab who gets that same look in her eyes when I bring home a new duck toy that quacks. It’s the look of dreamy, heartfelt, obsessive adoration in big brown eyes utterly fixated on that duck.

      It’s the same look some girls used to get when the Beatles were around. I remember a concert footage from A Hard Day’s Night that had a girl standing there mouthing “Paul… Paul” with the exact same expression on her face. The only difference was that the girl had tears running down her face. Othewise, the expressions are identical. Of course, the Beatles were a success due to their enormous talent, not because someone foisted them on us with promises of greatness that didn’t come to pass.

      According to the local papers, that woman will be getting a house to live in, not from Obummer, but from a local woman who has several properties. She is going to let Henrietta and her son live there rent free as long as she wants to. And donations are coming in for Henrietta from all over the state. Not a damn thing to do with Obummer, other than the fact that he made the promise and others carried it out for him. Seems to be a pattern with him.

        The house belongs to Florida Rep. Nicholas Thompson who is a Republican. Yes, you are correct in saying Obama had nothing to do with this.

          Emperor Obama has everything to do with it. He need only speak and good things happen for the little people, um, riffraff, um, downtrodden. The rest of the related information is just a “distraction”.

          The interesting thing is that the story I read said that Chene Thompson, a local woman who owns properties, would be helping her out. No mention that she was married to a Republican Rep. They may have assumed that the readers knew that, since it was a local paper. Or they may have left it out so that it didn’t look like a Republican was bailing out Obummer on his promises. And one other note from that story, they said that a woman from Ocala had sent in $50 and that proved that the help was bipartisan. Ok, lots of Republicans live in Ocala, but it’s not exclusively Republican. I know several Democrats who live and work there. You know Obamania is bad when the local papers are spinning for him. It was a real “come to Obie” moment, and they played it to the hilt. Gag.

        Yes, that’s what I read. I also read that the stimulus bill will create government building jobs and contractors will not be allowed to check on the workers’ citizenship, so our money will be used to provide jobs for illegals. Americans don’t seem to mind, don’t seem to mind that healthcare will be rationed, and their doctors can only give them what treatment plan the feds say they can.

        I guess this is Obama’s way of getting rid of the old folks who didn’t vote for him. If you have a disease that’s the result of aging, (like heart problems, or Alzheimer’s, or arthritis) it won’t be treated. You’re aging, get over it.

      Advice to little people pleading to the emperor for help:

      1–It’s essential that you do not approach the emperor unless he is on camera. Otherwise, you might get thrown to the ground and arrested, or worse.

      2–If the emperor is on camera and in gracious bestowing mode, approach on your knees, so that you seem even smaller than you really are. Remember to look up with adoration.

      3–Learn to exude tears while simultaneously beaming with gratitude. If he wants to embrace you in front of the cameras, allow it, but do not attempt to return the embrace, or otherwise fondle the merchandise.

        We must all learn to perfect our backwards walking skill as you are of course not allowed to turn your back to The Emperor. Its harder than it looks to back down a 20 foot room while simultaneously bowing, crying and beaming with gratitude. Try it sometime.

        In presenting your case to the Mighty O, you have to think strategically, that is, PHOTO-OP. Prepare a video. Dress a bunch of kids in rags and overalls, and have them sing-dance a short rendition of Y-M-C-A. End with a cheerleader-style chant: HOPE! CHANGE! O-BA-MA! You Mean Change Allelujah! (as your kids hold up their Y-M-C-A signboards). Send the completed video to someone really powerful, like Jon Favreau.

    The rebate for seniors is a one-time payment of $250. Whoppee!
    Although, I haven’t started my tax filing yet, if memory serves me correctly, that will not pay my amount due, unless my investment losses bring my interest down.
    The only one coming out ahead will be the employee who sends me a deposit so that I can send it back!

    I can’t believe you guys posted that. When the news showed this clip the other day, that is EXACTLY when I almost spewed. I called my hubby’s attention to watch the clip and he refused to get sick before going to work.

    My mother just didn’t believe me that most of O’s attraction was sexual. Irrational freaks motivated by hormones in picking their president. That woman needs to be the female half of Chrissie Matthews of the new Odoration Show. :)

    I understand that the attendees to this road trip were pre-selected, a little tweaked drama for Obama. Since the bi-partisan charm didn’t work, he’s back to campaigning. Pulling a house out of your ying-yang is a nice trick. I’m glad this woman will have a place to live, but this plays on a false note, a Hugo Chavez moment.

    It’s going to be a lo-o-ong four years.
