I can see the Will Rogers Shrine and Memorial from our home. It sits on top of Cheyenne Mountain and I have been there only once. The drive is almost as scary as driving up Pikes Peak, but it is worth it unless you suffer from extreme fear of heights. I particularly liked this quote: <i>"Well, the election will be breaking out pretty soon, and a flock of Democrats will replace a mess of Republicans in quite a few districts. It won’t mean a thing, they will go in like all the rest of ‘em, go in on promises and come out with alibis.”</i> The partisanship in our country is so prevalent, it's impossible to see how things will ever change and it will, eventually, be our undoing.
