Feb. 17 – Secretary of State Clinton made her first stop on her Asia tour in Japan, a country that spent the1990s in a “lost decade” when government spending failed to revive the economy.

Clinton’s visit comes as a time of an economic crisis at home, something that plagued Japan through most of the 1990s as its economic bubble burst. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

Every time i see Hillary Clinton, I feel as if something has been stolen from me.

Ditto! And listening to what and how she says them. Ah, what could have been. But perhaps the whole country needed to experience what it is going through now to appreciate a treasure like her.

Ditto. I feel so much sadness for what has been lost, but also the only hope in this chaotic, circus going on in Washington and around the country.

That is only because, it was.

I wonder how Hillary feels about the back stabbing Andrea Mitchell travleing with her on these trips ?

During the primary Nitchell continually slammed her on her foreign policy experience. Later as Hillary was being talked about as a potential VP candidate Mitchell switched can Obama trust a women with such stong credentials to be his second,etc..

  • Clara Barton

If Mitchell continues to cover her, I hope Hillary runs her ragged all over the globe. Jill Daugherty from CNN who used to be the Moscow correspondent, is now covering the State Department. I haven’t heard her diss Hillary, so maybe she and others will get the exclusive interviews and not Mitchell.

I watched Letterman last night. He should be slapped hard for his continual assault on the Clinton’s because he doesn’t have the ballz to make a joke at 0bama’s expense. I can’t watch anymore. I tune in on occasion and as soon as Dave says something nasty about either Bill or Hillary, I shut it off or switch to Leno. Let CBS know how NOT funny this schtick is to many of us. His show last night was horrible.

Things happen for a reason. So far I am happy with Hillary Clinton as SOS. The international community does not suffer from Clinton derangement syndrome. Therefore, Hillary Clinton can take the ball and run with it unfettered by the anti-Clinton noise back home from the rabid right and the rabid left.

I think most people are missing how Hillary is the biggest asset in American’s government right now. She’s full of confidence and competency. When she speaks on the tough issues, you don’t see any world leaders getting nervous or uneasy.

Now compare that you to Obama. Every time he opens his mouth about the economy, the market slides. When he hums hums hums his ways about the bailout you see more CEOs coming out saying it’s not going to work. The market doesn’t trust this clown. Not to mention his treasurer gatekeeper, a complete moron. Hillary is the only person keeping the world leaders from a complete panic, given the state of the WH.

Letterman is an Idiot. So watching him is a waste of time.
