Asia Goes Ga-Ga for The Secretary – And We Have Videos Galore!

p2130755 Hillary is a SMASHING HIT in Indonesia, as you will see in the videos below. One of the highlights of her visit was her appearance on the most popular television show in Indonesia (there are some great quotes below the fold!) where she bravely tried to pronounce the complex language, sing a little, and even answered a question about her own favorite music.

But first, I must share with you some fun news from China via a longtime friend of mine, Lisa, who has a great blog, The Paper Tiger. Lisa reports, “Hillary seems to be popular here – I’ve seen (positive) biographies and a couple posters of her (can’t remember what those were for).” Because of her father’s profession, Lisa spent childhood years in China and remains fascinated by the country. In Los Angeles, she rose early every Saturday to take Chinese language courses at UCLA, and she makes frequent visits to practice her Chinese and to see the many friends she’s made. “There is so much excitement in the air here,” she told an enthusiastic studio audience on the MTV-style “Dahsyat” show, which translates in English to “Awesome.” She said she had just spoken with Obama who wished them all well, drawing cheers.

Much of her appearance was lighthearted banter about her favorite music — the Beatles and Rolling Stones — and her poor singing abilities, but she also made clear that Washington wants to address Muslim concerns about U.S. policy in the Middle East and elsewhere.

I even saw stories on the cable news channels saying that Hillary is a Smash Hit in Asia! She should have been president.

I think another member of the Clinton family will enter public service eventually. During Bill’s interview with Larry King the other night he mentioned that Chelsea went back to Stanford to get a Masters in something related to health care. He said that after the campaign she realized that she was very interested in the subject.

HRC should be POTUS but she looks like she’s enjoying what she is doing now. Hey she has her own huge staff, building and plane! As I have said before I’m kind of relieved that she’s no longer in the Senate having to deal with that porkulus bill. A vote will never be attached to her political career.

Hillary is SUCH A GOOD LEADER! And she can answer questions very intelligently every single time. Whey people couldn’t see that SHE would have been the best candidate, I just can’t understand.

But I am more amazed at her humility and her ability to brush any sense of bitterness off her shoulders ( ) and give her very hard won experience to us.

I’m always amazed at how clear and on point Hillary is during interviews and presentations. It’s good to see her working so hard and enjoying herself at the same time. Loved the clips from Indonesia. And that Hillary bellylaugh, completely unfiltered.

Lot of Americans now living in China. I never realized there were so many till I started watching all these different news video’s. But, why wouldn’t they be? We handed over to China that which once made America great so we could be lazy and consume instead of produce. China will one day be the only world super power and own the USA. Probably most of Europe as well. Then they’ll get lazy and pass it off to someone else because man never learns and the cycle will continue. Consumer based societies which we’ve known since the Roman Empire cannot survive long term. Yet what do we do? Let’s get rid of all the production based industries we have left…Amazing.

These videos don’t surprise me at all, we all knew Hillary would be the best candidate for the job. Hillary’s biggest downfall is that she cared. She honestly cared about the American people. You can’t care about people and get ahead. That’s also Palin’s problem. People in this country like being kept down it gives them something to whine about, so they can feel sorry for themselves. There is no such thing in this country with more than half of it’s population as personal responsibility. It’s always someone else’s fault. “My needs”, “My wants”, “Me, Me, Me” and to hell with the rest of you, unless of course you agree with “ME”.

Man, she could have been , she should have been our leader, right now, except for all of the lousy crap that went on during the election cycle! She sure is showing-up, Barry Soetoro. Her success may bruise his ego a little, Tess, but he will look like a fool if he tries to undercut her or get rid of her. Who could replace her? She’s one of a kind. National Treasure has been used to describe so many, it may have lost it’s edge, but she truly is a Treasure. I’m glad she’s out on the road, making friends for our country (God knows we need them) and she’s out of the circus Washington has become. She was confirmed by 98% of the Senate. That can’t be ignored by bambi.
