I believe what Hillary says and that is such a relief. She will not support claims unless she is convinced of the truth in them. If she ever has to go to the UN to make a speech, she will not have to take the director of the CIA with her or apologize later for misleading the American people. She has complete security clearance now and complete access to intelligence. She has an analytical mind and devotion to the country. She promised she would have our backs and for the first time in years, I believe what someone in the governement is telling me. Thanks for the coverage Susan and ng. And the videos.

I am glad that Hillary is making the best of a terrible betrayal by the Democrat Party. She seems so happy. Shes rising and shining and Obama is falling and failing! Hopefully he will not run 2012 and let Hillary have the job that should really be hers.

But I fear that because of his ego, he’ll run again even if his first term is a total disaster. Let’s be honest, no democrat will challenge him for fear of being called a racist. If he were somehow challenged and beaten in the primaries, blacks would revolt and leave the party.

He’s screwed all of us!

I’m not surprised that the Bush administration was selling the idea that North Korea had a nuclear program not supported by the evidence. It fits Bush’s m.o. It’s great to have someone like Hillary as SoS.

It’s very gratifying to see her perform at the level that we knew she could. I also heard a report by Andrea Mitchell in which she stated that young girls/women are approaching her everywhere she goes to ask her about her ability to balance work and her life etc. Mitchell said, even as SOS, she is taking the time to “participate in that discussion.” She is modeling leadership and professionalism to young girls/women around the world.

She makes a very smart point when she said to those focusing on the uranium enrichment program only “to remember that it was the reprocessing of plutonium that enabled the North to become a nuclear state.”

The video above and the Fox article say that “Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told FOX News that nobody knows whether North Korea ever tried to produce highly enriched uranium, despite claims seemingly to the contrary from intelligence officials. ”

It would be nice if LJ could chime in and clarify, if he knows, what is it really that is known/not known on North Korea programs… After the Iraq, it is not very reassuring to learn “intelligence officials” and the SoS or Gov. are at odds…
