Does Larry Need a Stimulus?

The Financial Times reported that Larry Summers fell asleep on the podium this past Monday at the Financial Responsibility Summit:

Although Lawrence Summers, head of the National Economic Council, fell asleep on the podium, most attendees, including Republicans, appear to have appreciated the exercise.

While I know that some of this material can be a little dry, one would hope it is not putting Larry to sleep!!

I’ll admit I fell asleep once or twice in science class, but I always made sure I was in the back of the room. Perhaps Larry already felt comfortable with the material.

You can’t make this stuff up…I only hope he passes the test!!

      I felt somewhat pained watching that adorable little guy fight the inevitable for so long–give it up already, kiddo! I honestly do not know how that parent was able to hold the camera still for that long–so hilarious!

    Can you believe that 09 will cost each citizen what school children cost the county property owners?

    We have to pay about 11 thou for schooling children; property owners that is. And that has to come in cash from property taxes. I alone shed 900 bucks in cash in 2008 for schools. That’s just for schools. That does not include the rest of county services and I don’t live in the city. For a good reason.

    This is a travesty of major proportions.

    Seriously, Summers should get a medical checkup. While one occasionally falls asleep in public, it’s truly not normal. Sometimes people in public life have and get very poor medical care.

    Although I have heard his name tossed about a few times, I didn’t know much about Mr Summers until I checked him out on Wikipedia. I was not impressed. His position and status seem a little hereditary, somewhat like that of George W Bush. I hope that he or his friends and supporters won’t find this assessment insulting. Afterall, I am only a woman and I just don’t have the critical faculties of the superior male of the species. I used to be a bureaucrat and must admit I myself dozed off at more than one meeting. The fact is, I was just bored out of my skull….although I think the former President of Harvard University and the President’s Economic Advisor should meet a higher standard. Really.

      If you want to know more about this former Harvard president and human disaster please look up his name along with the ‘The Nation’ magazine, a liberal, leftist pro-Obama publication, that did a scathing expose of this guy I believe last summer. I couldn’t believe what I was reading and that this guy is BO’s Economic Council chief advisor says it all on why nothing will be left of our money by the time they get through with us.
