Or I could have also voted "Uncommitted." Voting for Obama was just not something I could do. I decided that a vote for Edwards (or anyone else who is out of the race) was no different than a vote for Obama, and since I knew I did not want Obama to win, and did not want to think that my vote helped make it possible for him to do so - I voted for Hillary. In the days after Edwards dropped out, I never inagined that I would be supporting Hillary - I had felt so lukewarm about her up to that point. I'm still not boiling over with enthusiasm, and I still have a few bones to pick with her, but when I compare Clinton and Obama, it's just no contest - it has to be Hillary. People have to vote their conscience - and I would never suggest that you vote or not vote the way your head and your heart tell you to - just wanted to share my thoughts on why I did not vote for Edwards in the MD primary.
