The Republicans have just about mouse trapped the liberals into nominating an empty shell, booby-trapped by the Chicago machine. Think October surprise grand jury indictments.

If that doesn’t make a dent consider this: The Vietnamese beat the everlovin’ crap out of McCain for years. Can you imagine the Prince of Platitudes trading body blows with him?

They do not have to sell their candidate. All they have to do is show that your candidate is crap. Kerry looked French, didn’t earn that third Purple Heart, Dukakis freed Willie Horton, Fritz and Titts, I’m behind him 1000%, etc.

Christalmighty, this isn’t rocket science!

I hope every single pundit and blogger who smears Hillary Clinton for her decision to place more importance on that officer’s family and friends (than on her own campaign schedule) will shut up.

Any of us who have ever had “The Officers Show Up Unexpectedly At Your Door With Bad News” (and I suspect that there are millions of us) can probably appreciate Hillary Clinton’s decency in this difficult circumstance. I really, really feel for this officer’s family. They’re almost certainly going to be in pain a long time, and their lives are forever altered.

I’d love to see some of the Know-It-All Pundits show one tenth of Hillary Clinton’s human decency on this occasion.

Whether you support Obama, or McCain, or Huckabee, it might be wise to recognize that in a tragic circumstance, Sen Clinton has shown human decency to a family that must be in a state of absolute shock — they will be in shock for weeks and months to come.

This family’s hell is only starting.
At least Sen Clinton did what she could to acknowledge and respect their suffering at what is a horrendous time for this family.

More than that cannot be asked of anyone.
But it has nothing whatsoever to do with politics, or with elections.
