Here is Evan Thomas’s biography:

EVAN THOMAS, EDITOR AT LARGE
Evan Thomas was made Editor at Large of Newsweek in September 2006.  He is the magazine’s lead writer on major news stories and the author of many longer features, including Newsweek’s special behind-the-scenes issues on presidential elections, and more than a hundred cover stories.

Thomas was pivotal in spearheading Newsweek’s award-winning coverage on the war on terror from the Washington, D.C. bureau.  His reporting and writing on the terror events of September 11 and the Iraq War contributed to Newsweek’s being honored with the most prestigious awards in the magazine industry-the National Magazine Award for General Excellence for 2002 and 2004. In 2005, his 50,000-word narrative of the 2004 election was honored when Newsweek won a National Magazine Award for the best single topic issue.
For ten years, 1986-1996, Thomas was Newsweek’s Washington bureau chief.  He was an Assistant Managing Editor from 1991 to 2006.  From 1977-1986, he was a writer and editor at Time magazine. He has won numerous journalism awards, including a National Magazine Award in 1998 for Newsweek’s coverage of the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
Since 1992, Thomas has been a regular weekly panelist on the syndicated public affairs talk show, “Inside Washington.”  He has appeared on numerous television shows as a commentator, including: NBC’s “Meet the Press,” “TODAY,” CBS’s “Face the Nation,” ABC’s “Nightline,” “Good Morning America,” CNN’s “Larry King Live,” PBS’s “Charlie Rose,” and “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.” He appears regularly on the syndicated radio show, “Imus in the Morning.”

Thomas is the author of six books, all published by Simon & Schuster: “Sea of Thunder,” about the war in the Pacific (2006), a New York Times bestseller; “John Paul Jones,” a biography of the American revolutionary (2003), a New York Times bestseller; “Robert Kennedy: His Life” (2000); “The Very Best Men: The Early Years of the CIA” (1995); “The Man to See: The Life of Edward Bennett Williams” (1991); and “The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made” (with Walter Isaacson, 1986).
In 2003-04, Thomas was a visiting professor at Princeton. In 2004-05, he was a visiting professor at Harvard. In 2006-2007, he was a visiting professor at Harvard and Princeton.  In the fall of 2007 he will begin a five-year term at Princeton as Ferris Professor of Journalism.  He is a fellow of the Society of American Historians and a former trustee of the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression. He is a graduate of Harvard and the University of Virginia Law School. He lives with his wife and two children in Washington, D.C.

Here are my questions from the last thread.

In 2000, the media jumped all over Gore to concede before the recount in Florida took place. It was later revealed that most recounts showed Gore winning Florida. Eight years later, the media seemed to be constantly trying to get Hillary to concede, focusing on grossly incomplete discussions of “the math”. What goes on in the minds of media folks when this is going on? Do they feel they did anything inappropriate in either situation?

Do you think History will judge the media kindly for their behavior during the primary? Why or why not?

Kathleen Hall Jamieson gave an interview detailing the role of sexism and misogynistic frames on the internet (see: http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/12072007/transcript1.html). Do you feel the issues Jamieson brought up were adequately discussed in the mainstream media? Did any of those frames make it into the MSM narrative?

Obama was chair of the Senate subcommittee on Europe, which included important organizations like NATO which is involved in Afghanistan. The Obama campaign discussed Afghanistan a lot, but he didn’t hold any investigative meetings as chairman. If John Kerry were to have been in a similar situation would the media have covered that more thoroughly? Does the media as a whole consider it an important omission?

<i<Much was said about Hillary Clinton’s supposedly “negative” campaign. How does the media determine when certain campaigns are “going negative”? For example, Hillary Clinton’s “3 a.m.” ad didn’t mention any other candidate, yet it was considered to be one of the most negative of the campaign, even including the charges of racism.

The Columbia Journalism Review analyzed the coverage of the various candidates and found that Hillary Clinton received about 50-50 positive-negative coverage while Obama received about 80% positive coverage. How do supposedly unbiased news sources justify those numbers?

By historical standards, how does Obama’s experience relate to other 20th century presidents?

Do you feel the media was a neutral observer or an active advocate? Were there *any* instances that you felt where the media went from observer to candidate?

  • catherine

I’m not so sure I want to listen. So many so called “reporters” were no better than mercenary whores during the primaries I lost all respect for them.

They’re basically no better than Pravda, Granma or in the case of MSNBC the heirs to Goebbels. I mean truly that network was nothing more than Obama’s Ministry of Propaganda.

The only question I could possibly have for someone who writes for Newsweek is “why did you become a journalist? What was your PURPOSE?”

Actually, don’t bother asking him. Just let him know that the American media has lost all credibility and respect.

  • Ani

I wonder what Mr. Thomas’ comment is about Jonathan Alter of Newsweek – who back in February of ’08, had the audacity to write the filth that “if Hillary Clinton had any dignity, she’d drop out”..

So Huckabee was trailing McCain 4 to 1 in the primary and no one talked about his dignity, but Hillary — basically in a tie for the nod with Obama should have “dignity” by slinking away quietly and not fighting for the job she is ten times more qualified to do — with media whores like Alter trashing her unfairly at every turn.

Newsweek lost all credibility along with most other media outlets last year – and the slobber-fest continues, How does Mr. Thomas justify that, I wonder?

  • catherine

I’ve heard enough of this snarky a$$hat. “I’m in it to win it” comment. Hello Evan??? The MSM was trying to get her to drop out since the Iowa Caucus!!! Where were you Evan? Maybe if you pulled your head long enough out of Nobama’s a$$ you might have been paying attention.

The MSM STILL refuses to accept their role in this travesty.

  • Obama: Dubya II Electric Boogaloo

Well, listening to the Obamapologist was 10 mintues of my life I’ll never get back.

    What a waste of time.

  • catherine

Let’s see. According to Wikipedia Evan Thomas has won numerous awards “including the National Magazine Award in 1998 for Newsweek’s coverage of the Monica Lewinsky scandal.”

    And …

“He is the grandson of the late Norman Thomas, a six-time Presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America”

His grandpa once said “The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

    Enough said about Evan Thomas!

  • pm317

Thank you Susan and Paulie. This is excellent. Listening to Thomas is infuriating.

  • Chicago Joe

thomas, you and the rest of the turds at MSNBC deserve the obsolesence now coming your way. Hope your book tanks faster than an anvil in the ocean, you phony sexist opportunist. Too bad we can’t sue you for malpractice.

  • catherine

He’s furthering his gramps agenda. I guess that answered my question as to what his “purpose” was in becoming a “journalist”.

  • http://donnadarko.wordpress.com donna darko

It brought back the horror and denial of last year. I’m crying now.

  • jbjd

…and when you are done, time to get back to work trying to fix this. (Here’s a tissue.)

    {{{{hug}}}}

We here at NQ know the facts, Donna. Don’t let the turkeys in life get you down!

  • Andy

I agree; it was really infuriating. It really goes to show these guys are beyond facts and that everything that happened they did it on purpose and with eyes wide open. What a disgusting and dishonest “reporter”

And a real COWARD : “I don’t recall, I do not know enough” blah blajh blah whenever he didn’t want to face facts. So the question should have been: And Mr. Thomas WHY don’t you know? Wasn’t THAT your JOB???

    AGGGRRRRR

  • Pacific John

Thomas knows a lot about how things played with his friends in the press, but not much of anything about the facts.

He didn’t do much for the impression that the press is incompetent.

    Dr. Somerby, paging Dr. Somerby.

Paulie did a great job, but I’m sure most listeners were ready to reach through the phone and wring Thomas’ neck.

  • http://donnadarko.wordpress.com donna darko

Evan Thomas is so smarmy and condescending.

  • Fran

Thomas is an idiot! What is the point of his book if he ‘doesn’t really know about that’ on every topic?

It was a complete rehash of every Obot lying talking point. Pretty pathetic.

And, btw, Hillary voters are ignorant r@cists (according to Thomas). Interesting that I am far better educated than my BO supporting friends.

  • http://donnadarko.wordpress.com donna darko

Thomas is so smarmy and condescending.

  • Ima Blue Dot in Texas

Great job with Evan Thomas, Paulie. I don’t know how you kept your cool, but you were very gracious. “I just don’t know enough about it to comment.” I’ll use that the next time the Democratic party asks for money. Thanks again, Paulie. Fantastic job!

  • Andy

He knows about “the facts”: he creates the reality he wants and when confronted with what he knows are facts he says ” OH I don’t know…”
Bullocks. Why doesn’t he know? That was his job: to find out to know to discover and to serve the public with the truth.
I heard no real and thorough criticism of Obama: why? He had plenty about HRC.

    What a clown…

    …………
Journalism Died in 2008 in America and this man is a prime example of why it died. He lives in the Planet of DENIAL! They weren’t doing journalism as it was meant to be, they were actively campaigning for Obama.

You would think they would at some point, admit the bias in the campaign and the relentless misogyny that went on.

We Must Divest From Misogyny if 51% of the population is to have just representation in government.

  • Andy

EVAN THOMAS, EDITOR LIAR and JERK AT LARGE

  • Fran

I wrote a comment, but it is not coming up.

I think Thomas is a jerk. What is the point of his book if he ‘doesn’t know about that’ on most important issues?!

He just repeated the BO campaign lying talking points.

I usually am not at home early enough to listen, so this was my first time. I read the ‘chat’ and just wanted people to know I shared their frustration.

  • Pacific John

I’m with you, Donna. How far we’ve fallen that this guy is treated as having credibility. This was one of the most frustrating interviews I’ve listened to in years.

Not to long ago, we had the beginnings of a machine to combat this journalist malpractice, with MWO, Media Matters, the Center for American Progress, and Al Frankin on Air America. Our side gave it all away in this election, and now there’s no check holding a guy like Thomas accountable. For him, the truth is what’s in his head, not a reflection of actual events.

In his world, Hillary lost because his friends didn’t like her. That she won the popular vote is a meaningless detail.

Can someone, anyone, tell me why the nation is better off with Thomas, and the entire DC media, than without?

  • Andy

“I just don’t know enough about it to comment.”

That phrase alone should be enough to declare Evan Thomas INCOMPETENT as a “jorunalist” and make him lose his job. That phrase needs to come back to haunt him for the rest of his life.

We should send him tons of letters and to his colleagues with the words:

How can a person that “doesn’t know enough to comment” about the obvious things that were part of his job is your “editor at large”…

But then again, with don’t hire any more based on merit: out Potus is exhibit A of that….

    What a joke….

Paulie: you did your best and kept the high ground. Not easy to keep your cool with such a clown.

  • pm317

Susan, Can we collect all his “I don’t know enough about that” or “I can’t comment because I don’t know enough” segments and put it up as a post?

“The man who did not know enough”

  • Pacific John

Thanks. Man, do we need to tell this story to the public who were cheated by Villagers like Thomas.

  • pm317

Should be “The journalist who didn’t know enough”

  • Andy

    That’s a great idea !!!

    pm317: go for it!!

And someone should email him the link afterwards…He needs to know that
there is plenty of people that don’t buy his BS.

  • pm317

I will leave it to Susan or other writers. Don’t have time (to know how) to capture audio segments from the Blogtalk radio.

  • Elizabeth

I gave up on Thomas after that Charlie Rose performance in which he attempted to justify how the “slightly creepy cult of personality” surrounding our “deeply manipulative” president made him “slightly uneasy” by explaining that manipulation and singularity of focus was something that “could be quite useful in a leader.”

All we can do now is make sure that that Newsweek never recaptures its readership after their cowardly escape from honest journalism. That’s the only way these people are ever going to care.

  • Elizabeth

I just posted a comment that went down the spam file…basically summarizing my lack of surprise after Evans’ admission on Charlie Rose that he could stomach a “deeply manipulative” Obama as something “quite useful in a leader.”

Boycott the magazine and never buy his books. That’s the only thing these people care about.

  • http://donnadarko.wordpress.com donna darko

His ignorance is typical of the MSM and it is why PUMA not the MSM is now the source for real news.

    Great news for us:

SLIMMER NEWSWEEK HAS MAG STAFF STEAMING

    February 18, 2009

NEWSWEEK staffers have yet to simmer down after last week’s stunning announcement that it was going to radically downsize its circulation, first to 1.9 million by July, and then ultimately to 1.2 million next year.

The reason it’s shedding readers from its current circulation of 2.9 million? Newsweek lost an estimated $20 million, and is on target to lose even more this year.

And the ad picture is equally bleak: Through the Feb. 16 issue, ad pages have plunged 38 percent to 108.9, according to Media Industry Newsletter.

Some Newsweek insiders were disgruntled that they first learned about the new plan in a New York Times article.

The new direction seems to be less ambulance-chasing and more analytical pieces.

“In mid-May, we’ll be launching a new magazine,” said Editor Jon Meacham. “Is it a calculated risk? Absolutely. But it’s a risk worth taking.”

“We’ll be more opinionated, but we aren’t going to be partisan.”

The radical downsizing, and the attempt to drop the mass-circulation appeal, was hatched by CEO Thomas Ascheim.

“There’s no way to know how he’s feeling inside, but [Meacham's] at least giving lip service to supporting the plan,” noted one insider.

For his part, Meacham said his endorsement is more than lip service.

“I believe in this,” Meacham told Media Ink. “Honestly, if I thought morale was down, I wouldn’t be talking the way I am. Newsweek isn’t alone in facing tough times economically, but we now have a coherent plan for pressing ahead.”

Insiders demoralized by last year’s buyouts of 115 employees are at least taking solace that the latest major change doesn’t mean saying goodbye to more colleagues.

“It’s pretty lean now, you can’t do too much more cutting and keep it going,” said one staffer.

That has not, however, meant the end of all cutbacks.

A rumor posted on Gawker.com, that Newsweek is pulling out of London, is partly on the mark.

There will be no physical Newsweek office in London anymore, ending a tradition that goes back to World War II.

But there will be stringers under contract, and a least some semblance of a Newsweek presence, with a staff of three on the editorial side.

Newsweek isn’t alone in feeling the newsweekly pain.

Time, which cut its circulation to 3.2 million a year ago, was said to have made about $50 million last year. But, its ad health is equally dismal, having sunk 48 percent to a scant 94.4 ad pages through the Feb. 16 issue.

Meanwhile, one-time rival US News & World Report has dropped any pretense of being in the print-weekly game, and is going online, publishing only monthly “best of” guides.

Rumors have been swirling that it may abandon the monthly print version entirely.

Editor Brian Kelly said that’s not true, “for now.”

The magazine started a digital weekly version three weeks ago, and is sending it to subscribers.

“We’re going to start pushing it a little harder this week, but we’re still doing monthly print.” said Kelly.

Week two of the great wholesalers vs. publishers battle looks to have been more brutal than the first in terms of magazines not reaching outlets.

First-day sales of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue were down by double digits. Usually SI Group Editor Terry McDonell can count on selling 1.1 million copies of the issue, which is on sale for six weeks.

Meanwhile, sales of People were estimated to be down 25 percent or more.

  • Pacific John

Where can we find a podcast of this?

I’d love to transcribe the Q and A when Thomas was so clueless.

  • Andy

    Go here

    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/nqr

and look for Sins of Omission 3/2/09 show.

It is there already. I am re-listening it now. It would be great to publish a transcript of it!!!

Send it to susanunpc@gmail.com as a post of yours. that would be cool!!

  • Elizabeth

This, after all, from the guy that justified on Charlie Rose Obama’s singularlity and “deeply manipulative” nature as something that could be “useful in a leader”…

I can only hope Newsweek doesn’t regain its readership after such a cowardly escape from honest journalism. And boycott Evans’ books. That’s what they care about and where our real leverage lies.

  • Andy
  • Pacific John

Will there be an MP3 or downloadable file?

  • http://humorhasit.com Shez ZK

Here you go, a direct link to download the podcast:
    http://www.blogtalkradio.com/nqr/2009/03/03/Sins-of-Omission.mp3?localembed=download

If that link doesn’t work for a direct download, go to the main NQR BlogTalkRadio page Andy linked above and download it for that show tonight.

We’ve been in several chats tonight. A show hasn’t infuriated us this much in months. Evan Thomas is completely clueless and sexist.

For a show that originated to fight sexism I’m having a hard time understanding why there was no push back on the ridiculous things he was saying and was allowed to get away with.

Why were the couple of callers that finally got on air in the last few minutes cut off from responding back to him?? I’m very disappointed in tonight’s show. They are normally very good but there is NO excuse for that kind of tripe being inflicted upon the highly informed listeners.

  • Pacific John

    Thanks for the link. Perfect.

It also angered me more that any media interview I can remember, but I thank Paulie for letting Thomas hang himself with his own words.

  • DisenfranchisedVoter

I’m listening right now. It is obvious from Thomas’ tone of voice that he has something against Clinton and supported Obama personally. “Boxed herself in”??? Whatever.

And what the hell was WRONG with the Clinton years? Yeah, Billy Dog couldn’t keep it in his pants for the entire eight years but he did a pretty damn good job of taking care of the country.

Also, the “if you can’t take care of your own campaign how can you be a good president” excuse is bullshit. Obama is prime example of someone who campaigns and ATTACKS others well but stands for absolutely nothing in terms of policy.

Thomas is an Obot, period. There is nothing else to say about him. He works for NewsWEAK so I already expected as much.

  • JustMe

I did not listen tonight sounds like it was better not to listen….

makes you wonder WHAT DID HE KNOW???

  • DisenfranchisedVoter

Also, he talks about upper-class, educated whites who looked at Obama as a fulfillment of the civil rights movement…where people look at content of character rather than skin.

Wait a minute. First of all, why won’t people look at women the same way? We’ve been oppressed for just as long yet educated whites don’t see electing a woman as historical? Second, if you really believed in character over skin color, then Obama’s policies and experience would matter more than his skin tone.

Yes, Thomas definitely hung himself with his own words. Just listening to this man makes it easier to believe why and how the media is going down the tubes. If he can be an editor, any one of us can be and editor of a magazine or newspaper as well.

  • DisenfranchisedVoter

Just listen because it really is a prime example of an Obot journalist repeating Obot talking points. Yes, you’ll become angry but you’ll also realize how ignorant these media hacks are.

  • JustMe

the bigger they are the harder they fall….

  • JustMe

Yes I will listen not sure I can allow my anger to go that far up again… will listen when doing something relaxing

It’s tough to go from zero to 100 in 60 seconds like last year, what with the media the cheating awful campaign and the way Hillary was treated not sure my BP will stand it.

Looks like I will be in Barnes and Noble turning the books.

  • candymarl

    My questions were deleted. Interesting.

  • candymarl

Evidently Newsweek doesn’t want to hear from descendants of slaves. I guess cuz Obama isn’t one.

  • jazmyn

I listened to show & couldn’t believe Paulie would hangup on callers questioning this Obot reporter. Kissing bot butt will just help to loose listeners that tune in to get true information that we can’t get from bot msm!

Something happened with the comments in the original post; they are all gone
    (my original ones as well)
But I think it’s sth. weird with their system as
I’ve seen this happened before when they bump up a post…

  • Andy

I had posted a comment about caucus with all the links to Peniel Cronin research and some analysis. But she just let him off the hook as soon as
he denied “any knowledge”: “Oh I don’t know enough about that”
Really??? How come a reporter like him (editor at large?) is NOT aware
of the complaints and studies about caucus: they were all over the blogs!!
She should have brought up Cronin’s work. That one is hard to ignore –as it is not an Obama bash piece but a well researched objective piece. It would shame him to declare he didn’t know about it….

  • http://humorhasit.com Shez ZK

I awoke this morning still WTF? pissed right off disturbed about this show allowing Evan “I don’t know enough” Thomas to go virtually unchallenged with his assbackward *opinions* and acute CDS. He was completely lacking in fact, logic, truth, or reality. As I said to one of those popular BlogTalkRadio show host cut-off callers that called me late last night: It is one thing for a host to ask questions of a guest no matter how good they are, but quite another not to say “wait just a minute” to correct and refute the blatant logical fallacies on the spot when it mattered, for the record.

And since he was allowed to lie through his teeth like a typical Obot Apologist expound at length without providing a shred of proof, or “specifics” as one well known NQ writer caller tried to pinch out of him, I’m sure Mr. I Don’t Know Enough walked away from this interview quite puffed up and pleased with himself. It was obvious he fancies himself as persuasive and an elite *important voice*. He needs to get over himself.

Why, what crowd horror wrath? He didn’t have to suffer hear any, or see any of the hour’s worth of riled up incredulous comments in the chat. What a pity and wasted opportunity to let someone in his postition know that he not only totally shirks his journalistic duties, is harming and has harmed America, but that we have critical thinking skills and long memories that do not buy his bullshit for one second. Newsweak indeed. Time to relook up their advertising sponsors.

This show reminded me of the time Gloria Alred showed up on PUMA radio to talk about the Denver convention but instead was there as another Obot Apologist, and to scare the crowd on Roe vs Wade. The host was similarly meek and ingratiating. Which again riled up the crowd further. But to PUMA radio’s credit the many callers were allowed to fully challenge Gloria and vent passionately if not well deserved angrily. They were also allowed to respond back to her excuses. Gloria received some comeuppance and she knew it, as did the host.

There was a lot of fallout and backlash over that Gloria show that spilled into other shows and went on for days. The same thing happened last night. In this case the supressed anger certainly spilled into other shows and we haven’t heard the end of it at all. A quick scan on the comments on this thread alone is only the tip of the iceberg.

With some real push back and an honest opportunity to let Mr. I Don’t Know Enough know something, *anything*, at last! how we really feel and think about him and the media… the crowd and listeners would have been cheering. We’d be writing what a hoot that was. No, I’m afraid we’re going to be seeing blog posts pop up that are extremely critical of what was left unsaid, not allowed to be expressed, and how the whole show was handled in this instance. Another hard lesson learned for us all. Except for Mr. I Don’t Know Enough To Comment So They Made Me An Editor At Large With Faxed BO Talking Points that got away practically scott free.

  • http://donnadarko.wordpress.com donna darko

    Thank god for PUMAs.

We were right about Obama’s corruption, misogyny, homophobia, inexperience, lack of qualifications and conservatism.

We might even be right about predicting the election someday. McCain lead in the days up to September 18, 2008 and the financial crisis. It could have gone either way, they were tied September 17, Obama lead on September 18 and there is an extreme deviation after that. Insiders may have known it was going to happen and orchestrated it.

  • http://donnadarko.wordpress.com donna darko

I’m glad we were right that the rest of the world went down the rabbit hole otherwise I would have thought I was going crazy!

Off topic: The netroots is obsessed with Republicans and Rush Limbaugh right now even though Democrats run the White House, House and Senate. They don’t want to look at the source of the problems, OBAMA.

What is this question, Are New Democrats a Wall Street Protection Racket? OBAMA is the Wall Street Protection Racket. We said so during the campaign.

    WE TOLD YOU SO!!!!!

  • Alice Paul

This interview guest was appallingly blase about what he “did not know” over and over again. This is a blatant and willful failure on the part of the press to be unbiased, nonsexist and to cover the truth for the American people. The guest made several sexist remarks himself and was insulting in doing so. How? By claiming it wasn’t media bias and misogyny that affected the outcome of the campaign and saying over and over “I didn’t see it” Of course NOT it doesn’t affect YOU negatively so why see it as an issue. Again, if any one of the media mis statements had been racist you would have shown outrage Mr. Thomas. The fact that this happened as much and as blatantly as it did was bad enough but, the denial of it afterwards is worse. You cannot and you will not rewrite history and the shame is indeed on your so called “coverage.”

If anyone was hoping for accountability, the truth or answers from this guest the will be sadly disappointed upon listening to the interview. Yes, face it Mr. Thomas..you are a well off white male and you played a part in not exposing the cheating of women’s history. From the blantant and well documented caucus fraud to the sham that was a so called “roll call” in Denver.

This would all matter very much to you if it were about a person of color who got so cheated. You’d go on in article after article about the disgrace of it. I suggest Mr. Thomas examine his belief system very closely. History will record what wasn’t recorded and why and some in the press are not going to look very good when the story is all told. Ignorance of the truth is no excuse at all and especially not from an editor of a major news outlet. No I see why the American people don’t know a damned thing about what has been done or what will be done…our press will not investigate OR do their jobs. Deadlines are the excuse? During a “historical” election that’s disgusting. And your intimation that her race wasn’t every single bit as “historical” and “exciting” and meaningful to millions of people was so insulting that I wont’ soon forget you said it.

My vote was stolen along with millions of others. I have taxation without being represented just like my name sake. That’s a fact…but, you “don’t know” and don’t care about what went on here. You only care about the “exciting” spin doctoring, facts be damned. You should be fired if there is ANY justice in this country at all.

One more thing. Please DO go look at these video clips about the caucus fraud and for heavens sakes read the entire analysis by Dr. Lynette Long on the issue. It’s undeniable what happened here and if we know and have it recorded there is zero excuse for you “not knowing!”

    HI,
I’ve just listened to the show and I thought it was wonderful Paulie. You managed to expose your guest with such grace and intelligence.
I understand the anger of some of the people above, but I whole heartedly support your tactic of semi-flattering your guests no matter how awful their opinions seem to Clinton supporters, as a means to keep them talking. That way, NQR will be able to entice more high profile people into your honey trap!
The interview exposed so much and I feel so much more informed about the causes of the sexism in the media. I hope Evan went away and thought more about the points you raised (alhough I did think his tone was a bit dismissive and rude when he answered some of your questions, so….)
Thankyou – your weekly show really has enriched my life.
