Debate The MSNBC Debate Open Thread

UPDATE! GrannyHelen found this live Cleveland feed (for those of you having trouble with the sucky MSNBC feed). C-Span audio of debate. (Delayed! 10:30 ET) BELOW, I’ve put up a wonderful video ad about Ann Richards, created by Hillary’s campaign. You’ll love it.
THE DEBATE: We’ll probably all need a cleansing fast after watching the post-debate coverage of Olbermann and Matthews as they dissect, psychoanalyze, and eyeball Hillary Clinton. But, what the heck. Can you take it? I can. For a while. It may end up being a television-off, classical-music kind of evening later on. During the debate, I remain hopeful that Brian Williams will ask good, serious questions. I really hope that. Dan Balz asks some great questions at the Washington Post today in “With All Eyes on Clinton, Time to Question Obama, Too“:
The focus will be on Hillary Clinton tonight when she and Barack Obama meet here for their last debate before next week’s primaries in Ohio and Texas. But should it be Obama who comes under closer questioning? … Read all.
Then there’s this lovely video from YOUNG PEOPLE for Hillary:
My daughter found this YouTube. It’s a preview of what the GOP will do to Obama on national security if he’s the general election candidate. The title is important:
IN 52 SECS WHY BARACK OBAMA CANNOT WIN A GENERAL ELECTION
The subtitle: HE PLANS ON DISARMING AMERICA. (Now, that’s really silly. I have no worries like that about Obama. But they believe it, and they’ll spread the word to millions. Then there’s the video.)
I do think it’s silly. Then I think about the huge crowds of people who’d gather on Saturdays here on the main highway, and wave their big flags and signs that said, “Support Our Troops.” Those people will be totally freaked out by Obama if the Rovian GOP operatives convince them he’s not ready on national security and the military. Probably Hillary would affect them similarly, although the GOP would have a harder time portraying her as wanting to “disarm” the U.S.
