“An elegant man.” hmmmmmmm That gets the raised eyebrow of the month award. The color lavender comes to mind. For a minute there, I thought maybe Sean Penn was goin’ gay on us, but then, that would be an insult to gay men, wouldn’t it?

No, it’s being reported that they were the US
versions, i.e., will only play in the US region, and won’t play on a non-US region DVD player, i.e. all those sold in England.

Maybe that’s incorrect, but it IS being reported.

But this is really the biggest insult:

How utterly embarrassing. My husband is from Belgium and we have received emails from family there asking WTF and they are considered Obama “fans”. I’m so embarrassed. I heard nothing of these gift exchanges in the MSM; I am sure they are all covering for the Obamas. And the beat goes on…

It’s not that Barack and Michelle have no grasp on the importance of the pomp of their office and their every gesture that bothers me, it’s that their staffs are so clueless. I have, all along, depended on the members of their staffs to prop them up and get us through the next three and a half years.

Apparently, inexperience and incompetence abounds on all levels at the White House.

We’re screwed.

The thing about a set of DVDs is that it is not something elegant that can be displayed on a bookcase or a desk as a memento.

The DVDs might be an OK gift for a kid, not a head of state.

Oh Janice, Ellen, Corinne… you just can’t believe it to be true, because you don’t want it to be true. Obama has already called and apologized. The WH has also called, and tried to spin it, and say Obama was too tired.

What can’t you believe? Why is this so hard for you to believe?

Why do you come here, and under THREE different names, deny this story to be true, over and over again?

You are spending SO much time and energy trying to deny something that has been reported all over the place.

Not ONE person is even quoted here. This is a conservative right wing newspaper – with a history of attacking Obama and Democrats. This article with all its ‘sources close to…’ ‘someone who is close to a white house staffer’ is just like the National Enquirer and the popular British tabloids. There is not much here I can believe to be true – just inuendo and rumor.
