This makes no sense. He campaigned against GWB’s policies of teh last “8 years”. He didn’t scorch GWB for what he did in 2001-2003 but corrected after those “first couple of years”.

And the press bought this nonsense no further questions/clarifications asked?

Ultimately costing the U.S. the destabilization and undermining of the entire U.S. economy. That is concomitant with the present destabilization of the financial markets and the GNP.
