On the other hand, the CityEdition article reads like a translation of a script from “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”.

Right off the bat, the quoted section,
“…it was Fox that called Florida for Bush, even though the other networks declared Gore the winner, citing the exit polls. How Fox knew the polls were wrong in advance of the vote tabulation has never been explained.”

The mistake in the premise is that Fox couldn’t have known the exit polls were wrong, because they were not wrong. Later on, a consortium of news organizations sponsered a complete recount, and found that by any counting standard, Gore won; coincidentaly like the exit polls showed. It got little attention, as it was buried under 9/11 and Iraq stories, and drums beating for war fever.

Then there’s the Rhodes brothers. Might be something there, but then again, it doesn’t mean the ‘family’ is out to get us. Don’t know much about Ben, but from a little internet poking around, he doesn’t sound like such a terrible guy.

Some Republicans and some Democrats alike may believe that Obama would be easier to beat than Clinton, and they may even end up being right. But just as well worth considering, is how often Obama does better than Clinton in polls versus McCain.

Also consider that if Ben Rhodes really is part of the torpedo agenda, then it’s just a short jump to say Obama is too, since he hired him.

Anyway, I’m from Texas and voted for Hillary Clinton in my state’s early-voting primary the other day.

I know lady who has an arch-conservative husband, she listens to Rush Limbaugh daily while he watches Faux News. She said she was going to vote for Barack Obama in the primary, although she wasn’t going to vote for him in November if he won the nomination.

I realized then that any election results next week from Texas will probably be skewed, with many Republicans pulling the same stunt, choosing to not vote in the Republican primary (since John McCain looks like he has the Republican nomination sewed up), and crossing over to vote for Obama in the Democratic primary…because these Republicans really, really don’t like Hillary Clinton…because they really, really believe all the foul lies aimed at Bill and Hillary Clinton over the years.

I don’t know if the same thing is happening in Ohio, but it is obvious to me that Republicans want their candidate to face Barack Obama in November, and not the honorable Sen. Hillary Clinton. That should tell liberal, progressive Democrats something. Is Barack Obama just a Trojan Horse????

Examples were easy to see when ‘white progressives’ would pressure a black or latino member of a governance body or organization to vote the way they saw it, even though these folks didn’t agree. Then ‘white progressives’ would throw down the race card about ‘loyalty’ to their community. One friend nailed it, “oh you want to end segregation of my community until that segregation benefits you. i’m a member of that community when it suits you’.

It is a good area for so called ‘progressives’ to explore in their ranks and themselves. Do they harbor hidden racial expectations and assumptions?

Watch how the politically correct dance around about calling Asian people, ‘orientals’ or ‘asians’, or whether to call people ‘Latino’ or ‘hispanic’.

The US has a lot of progress to make, and I don’t doubt these folks are sincere about wanting an egalitarian society. Pointing at a Redneck and saying, “racist” doesn’t require a whole lot of thought or concept. Asking, “how do I foster racism and sexism?” might be the best way for ‘progressives’ to start dealing with the issue.

Given my love for tuna and naps, my POSSLQ calls me, “Fat Freddie’s Cat,” but that’s a pretty obscure reference, unless one is an underground comix fan.

The bridge to which I refer crosses the Potomac, connecting Rosslyn with Georgetown. I used to run across it, back when I used to run…I think Trickee Dickee’s first term.

Lotsa professional pols and Civil Serpents* cross it on their way to K Street.

The “other” Key Bridge is in the Baltimore area, and crosses the Patapsco River.

* Had a female boss who, we speculated, suffered from Multiple Personaloty Disorder. We called her, “The Sybil Serpent,” when she wasn’t looking and listening.

I live her in Houston, and I can testify that if you read the Houston Chronicle, like I do (in fact I was a delivery boy for them as a teen for 2 years)..there are many republicans who hate clinton who are lop siding this primary vote and have no intention of voting in November for a Democrat at all. They are admitting very clearly that they want to eliminate Clinton’s chances.

This is unpreventable too, because you can’t eliminate their vote either…lets suppose a person who made a catastrophic mistake being a republican all this time, saw the light (love ya larry) and they want to vote…we wouldn’t keep them out in the cold, now would we?

Well this door is being not only exploited but promoted as a way to stop Clinton.

Historical perspective:
Those of us who have studied the history of slavery and oppression of the black community are very aware of the “Willie Lynch” letter.
It explains very clearly that ‘distrust is stronger than trust’ and recommends a way to keep power in the hands of the masters by pitting ‘younger against older’, ‘lighter skinned against darker skinned’, ‘and the men against women’.

By this, then the slaves could not unite and he promised and was almost dead on…it would keep the Masters in power for 300 years or more.

They are not ignorant fully about our base behavior. They expect us to vomit when they attach themselves to Clinton or whoever they see as the enemy.

P.S. Some of us are planning to watch Hannity’s show on Sunday … he’s gonna lay into Obama. (We’re not stupid. We know who Hannity is. But he’s been going after Obama non-stop. The other night, Hannity must have mentioned Bill Ayers and Lewis Farrakhan at least 8-9 times. HAMMERING on Ayers and Farrakhan. Oh, a general election fight against Obama would be devastating to watch.
