Bernstein’s book on Hillary was a good read.

However, as I reflect back on the 2008 election, I do beleive he turned against Hillary Clinton when he was on TV.

    I saw him many times.

Perhaps some questions could address his attitude in this regard.

One question I’m interested in is how resource allocations to thorough investigative journalism today compares to what it was during the Watergate era. Also, the same question with respect to coverage of international affairs.

I would like to know why, since both women are so different, they got the same MSM treatment.

Both were shrill, polarizing, too emotional, not emotional enough, wore the wrong clothes, had inconvenient family (Bill, Bristol), and while HRC was derided as being hopelessly wonkish because she worked all her life, Palin was said to be an eternal idiot because she went to more than one university.

And WTH does he think of Andrew Sullivan’s obsession with Palin wombs?

Lately it seems Bernstein has been more positive toward Hillary. I’m assuming that’s the change Paula is referring to.

BTW, I think Bernstein’s book hardly sold at all.

Bernstein’s book on Hillary was a hit job. He always went for the worst interpretation. Later he was predicting how Hillary would be an ineffective President from Day 1, as he lauded The One (with no qualifications). He is a sexist pig in my opinion, and from what I remember of Nora Ephron’s comments, I am not the only one to think this.

But one so full of himself is bound to be Obama-drawn. Is there anyone else, Narcissis?

who is that cutie cute little person on your WP icon? (I can see all the little pics people have) It is really small, so it is hard to see if it is a little boy or girl, but the pic is SOOOO cute! What a doll!

(I was just checking the comment threads, and saw it, and had to ask. :O)

Woodward has done much better than Bernstein in the years after Watergate. I watched Bernstein once on TV during the primaries, and turned the channel every time I saw him after that. I don’t care what any of his ilk have to say now. They got this President elected by being part of the most biased media coverage in the history of this country, and to me they are all as good as dead.
