This skit is a reality…BO has no idea how the fix the banks, and the economy, that’s why he has changed the “conversation” to health care, class warfare and taxes.

Pay attention to the problems, not the distractions.

Who got “our” AIG Billions? Funny how Hank Paulson et al all previously worked for Goldman Sachs. The article also goes on to state that Federal Reserve Vice-Chairmen did not want to release the names to Congress because it would impair AIG’s ability to do business. These clowns haven’t gotten the clue yet that AIG is essentially out of business. Since many European banks gambled in this AIG adventure, maybe some European countries can chip in several billion of their own money. I agree that what was once known as AIG maybe shouldn’t go under since many people will loose their pensions. However, I also see no reason for “AIG” to continue to do business. We have no accountability on the part of the fed that the little guy’s pension is going to be saved. After all someone’s pension just isn’t too big to be “saved” by the financier class. Jail time I think would be more appropriate. Hey but Maddoff is still in his penthouse with his 60 million. So I am not going to hold my breathe about “accountability” when all is said and done.

The newspaper reported that some of the banks paid by AIG since the insurer started getting taxpayer funds were: Goldman Sachs Group Inc, Deutsche Bank AG, Merrill Lynch, Societe Generale, Calyon, Barclays Plc, Rabobank, Danske, HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, Banco Santander, Morgan Stanley, Wachovia, Bank of America, and Lloyds Banking Group.

I am working on a financial solution myself.
Move the Capitol to Vegas. The Grand Golden Boy, who likes warmer climes, could confiscate all the nation’s money, and place it in Yucca Mountain.
    The site is already prepared.
    Install Meechele as Chief Justice.
Forget the census, but give every peon an aptitude test to place them in their state job.
With a first rate enforcer army, our rulers could have the country humming within the year!

I have been waiting for him to tear down the White House, or stsrat a fore or something so that he and MEchelle can move the capital to Chicago. As a matter of fact, I am surprised it hasn’t happened yet. I thought that would be first on the agenda for The One.

Funny skit. I wonder when the writers for SNL will parody themselves about their part in helping to get these jokers into office. That ought to be a scream.

Steven Crowder (from bighollywood) had a letter on his blog last week that he wrote to SNL about parodying the current administration. It was funny, but pretty much true. You see how they still won’t make fun of Obama? Probably the closest they might get would involve Biden (and there are a million skits waiting right now that I can think of), but never a skit making fun of the O.

I still think Obama could do anything but kill a polar bear on video and receive praise for it….

  • DAB

Guess they couldn’t find anyone who actually looked anything like Geithner but he did have his clipped diction down.

Nice to see that people are finally finding something to skewer re: the Obamites — too bad it’s a wee bit too late.

The “Everybody Pays Taxes” line was the best (and most obvious) one.

RE: “I still think Obama could do anything but kill a polar bear on video and receive praise for it….”

I’m not so sure you’re right about that. SNL should probably give it a try.
