It was funny, but pretty much true. You see how they still won't make fun of Obama? I still think Obama could do anything but kill a polar bear on video and receive praise for it.... The article also goes on to state that Federal Reserve Vice-Chairmen did not want to release the names to Congress because it would impair AIG's ability to do business. Since many European banks gambled in this AIG adventure, maybe some European countries can chip in several billion of their own money. I agree that what was once known as AIG maybe shouldn't go under since many people will loose their pensions. However, I also see no reason for "AIG" to continue to do business. We have no accountability on the part of the fed that the little guy's pension is going to be saved. After all someone's pension just isn't too big to be "saved" by the financier class.
