Hillary has just as much inexperience as Barrack does. Being married to a President (of any organization) isn’t something that I have run across while looking through resumes. It’s kind of a hard thing to word. Besides where are all these papers that she is suppose to be releasing to confirm her hard work as First Lady? The Facts, Die hard Clinton fans are now feeling the disappointment and have pledged to go down on a sinking ship. However, there is still hope. You will be able to vote for Obama in November. This makes me sad, too, in terms of how this blind, mindless support for Obama, a horrifically flawed candidate, is appearing to put African American politicians far far behind, confirming the suspicions of every bigot out there.

I guess it’s like being a woman, they say you have to work twice as hard to get half the credit, as a minority candidate, you have to be scrupulous, and Obama, well, Obama, yeah, right.

Too bad.

Ann, this bothers me too. It breaks my heart that there is no loyalty for Hillary among most blacks. I understand that they are proud of Obama but the big picture should be considered and they should be doing their homework. His failure as a President would certainly not be a good thing for them to have to live through. I could vote for a Clinton/Obama ticket. He needs 8 years of the Clintons’ experiences in the WH before he becomes President.

I don’t understand why the African American community doesn’t hold BO accountable. If Hillary didn’t speak out on women’s issues, man that would piss me off. She speaks and acts with such integrity…BO doesn’t. Some days he talks with a southern black preacher voice and others with an uppity white Harvard voice…I just want to scream. It isn’t that I’m racist I just want a leader with integrity and one who I can trust to have an agenda and fight for it. Hillary’s agenda is the black agenda, the women’s agenda — it’s about equality and the end of poverty. Personally, I think it’s sad that the AA community has, for the most part, abandoned her. She’s done nothing less than fight for them and all who have been oppressed.

Somewhat off topic but I was fortunate to to have sat with Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee, (TX- D) shortly after she and 10 others were willingly arrested, including congressmen Tom Lantos and Jim Moran when they protested Darfur in front of the Sudanese Embassy.
What a wonderful woman and a great plane ride. She was on her way to Detroit to honor Rosa Parks.

Tavis hosted the best debate.

He ought to be the official moderator of the Democratic party debates for life.

He’s the only even handed moderator in the entire season.

There are very few scholars who move me as much as Dr. Cornell West. When he appears, he busts clouds, he evaporates illusions. He speaks very effectively to the points missed in our daily hubbub. His clarity on our collective struggle is with few if any peers.
