This is a funny video from The Daily Show that covers Brown’s visit the other day, his speech, and the gift exchange. RRR Amy and I both covered *giftgate* in our posts, *Oh, so elegant…* and *why the diss on brown*.

Jon also pokes fun at Hillary’s *reset* mishap. (Why is it so hard to translate something…don’t we have any Russian spies on hand?)

Granted, the mistake was the difference of two letters – *za*, but it was still a (news making) mistake. (did anyone notice this got a lot more MSM coverage than the DVD debacle?) Fortunately, Hillary is funny, and witty, and able to make fun of the situation. She handled herself like a pro.

    He was a complete nervous wreck loser during his alleged interview of

    UN yellow cake salesman Colin Powell.

    For some insane reason, Stewart acts like all black people are cool.

    He’s obviously scared shit less, refusing to really make fun of a black person.

    I don’t know if they threaten his sponsors or if he’s demented or both.

          You were right the first time. You could have written this: He, as well as every other comedian, is scared.

          The use of “and” as a conjunction to connect “He” with “comedian” makes it a plural subject.

          It’s sometimes confusing.

            Diana, you are sooo right! That’s what I get for writing way past my bedtime. In my sleep-deprived state I was focused on “every other comedian is…” forgetting I attached it to “he and”.

            Hopefully Andy is wrong!

            So much for our 6th grade English grammar class.

              In this instance, I’m sure I’m wrong. God forgives vague grammatical errors. But He may not forgive this country for electing Obama.

    Poor Obama, while he had “Great Expectations” to use “The Remains of the Day” to bring our relationship with England to “Wuthering Hights”, he was unable to set aside his “Pride and Prejudice”, and wound up kissing “Howards End”. Ta-Da.

    How humiliating on many different levels is it that Prime Minister Gordon Brown as well as most of the world thinks this way about Obama’s “selection”/election. And how America rose to the task of electing someone like BO. My greatest sympathy is to AA’s, especially the children who have been so very misled.

    Compared to the lunacy that comes out of Biden`s mouth Hillary`s mistake was a non event. Someone ought to put a muzzle on Biden just to spare the poor “village idiot” any more ridicule. Maybe that`s what Hillary was referring to in “It Takes a Village!”

    Yes, Jon Stewart, well, I am glad he can poke some fun. It might have been nice if he’d added the fact that the DVD set isn’t formatted so that Brown can watch them. I recall that many liberals like Stewart wanted Obama because he would repair our image in the world, improve world relations.

    How’s that going for you, Jon?

    I still can’t watch the Daily Show. One day there might be a funny clip, like comparing Obama and GW, but then weeks go by and it’s still the Obamalovefest and excuses. Let me know if the daily show every treats Obama like they did Bush. Then I could be persuaded to return.

        Yes and Hillary with her wealth of experience was a downer…… Hell I would rather be going down with Hillary than up with BO….

        at least we would make it back to the top with her……The country would be on a different path by now that’s for sure.

        I would hate to think what some of these call a good day from BO! ain’t worth thinking about…

    See? It was trying to laugh about the clip, but couldn’t once I saw no news clips of the Obama Gaffe and of course there will always be media coverage of Clinton’s gaffes, but probably never her successes! Can Jon not see that? He doesn’t come off as stupid to me. These people are all America haters. That is all I can figure.

        That’s Bobo without his teleprompter. He actually can’t say his opening lines without a teleprompter according to the press. And now, his administration is saying they are trying to set up another teleprompter that has facts and figures so that he can answer the press questions. Good grief. Dubya was a talking fool but at least he had enough brain cells to think on his feet, no matter how stupid his answers may be. Bobo probably sleeps with this teleprompter.

        They need to forget the teleprompter and the computer screen in the podium. What they need to do is implant a chip in obama’s brain behind his ear. They can program his answers wirelessly and possibly stop all stuttering. Though I must say that technology doesn’t exist that will let a human soul shine through his automaton eyes.

        Why didn’t they want Hillary to become president? Because she would have slapped their hand away if they tried to put their cold hands up her back to control her.

    Of course, the MSM does not want to point out Obamas obvious screw up because it would validate all the Hillary and/or McCain supporters who actually WERE RIGHT when they pointed out how his lack of experience would be bad for America. I think the gift and his administrations handling of the whole Brown visit just proves how out of depth they are in regards to foreign policy.

    I had to giggle because a poster on another blog referred to Obama as the “Dali Bama”.

      He must be frantic because the stock market actually had a small gain. Never to let a “good crisis” go to waste… The reigning socialists can’t allow things to get better before they get their long term agenda set. I think the plan is to earmark and spend to such an extent on the programs and socialistic reforms they want that nothing will be left for defense and any other program they deem non-essential. After all, who is going to want to invade a country where everybody is dirt poor? For example Mexico? or maybe us in a few years?

    Obama’s chaos agenda continues well ahead of schedule. Today he began the process of undermining his own liberal following.

    What a day he had today. Yesterday was not any better. But to undermine the G20 meeting the way he and Geithner did today is simply amazing. He is a tyrant and a dictator setting up shop for business. The G20 countries will be waiting for him with their arms wide open. “A new consensus” he wants. Pssfff!
