The Clintons invested money in the Whitewater deal, I think about $100,000, which was managed by James and Susan MacDougal. Mr. MacDougal of less than sterling character did some dishonest things with this investment, very shady to say the least. Susan MacDougal, when the GOP tried to make a big case of this deal, during the Clinton presidency, was sent to jail for 18 months for contempt of court because she refused to lie to the special investigator about the Clintons' non-involvement in her ex-husband's scheme. After much paperwork, and lots of taxpayers' money, the Clintons were found to be innocent of any wrongdoing or illegal deals. Now, can we forget about Whitewater? Getting friends jobs and 2. Allowing poor people to freeze in slums while the slum lords "steals" millions. That is why Obama can not connect with the "paycheck to paycheck" voters and never will. "P to P" voters see this going on all the time, they didn't get the promotion or job because their bosses' kid went to school with the new hires. They can't get the landlord to fix the leaky faucet or the stopped up toilet. That Obama guy is in for a more troubles...I suspect.
