They could intersperse the Manilow songs with some fun bubblegum music from the 60′s and 70′s..like Tommy Roe, 1910 Fruitgum Company, The Ohio Express, The Archies, The Lemon Pipers and The Partridge Family. Check out Wikipedia for the rest of the list. Some of those songs really could drive people out of their minds if heard often enough. The old people can just turn down their hearing aids. Hehehe.

Hilarious!

I still remember my disco moves when dancing to his song COPA CABANA. I don’t have any of his CDs but he does have some catchy sentimental tunes like MANDY. Unlike much of the writing for pop music today, at least Manilow writes much of his own material and has not depended on a team of corporate song writers for his success. I believe he was Bette Midler’s pianist back in the day.

All things considered, leave Barry Manilow alooooone!
