I had a tutor for them to make sure they kept up with reading and writing English so they wouldn't lose those skills (even though they were fluent in conversation). Kids pick up and lose languages very quickly - unlike adults. Were my kids slow learners? Not necessarily - maybe not brilliant, but both went to ivy league schools and have become professionals, one a medical doctor and one a lawyer. So I don't think his tutoring was necessarily because he was a slow learner. And please provide names of the many people who think Obama had a ghost writer - 'thinking' does not equate to it being true. I only have his books that I have read and that do not claim to have been ghostwritten - nor have I heard of any ghostwriter state he/she wrote the book-those are facts or (as I am sure you would prefer), lies. take your pick.
