The National Post’s writer is histrionic and pro-business as usual. The same guys who praised Bush’s dumb theories and economic and foreign agendas, so don’t pay attention to them.

Although, admittedly, there’s a wonderful description of the Obama presidency and congress as “circus” and fully ‘dysfunctional’. I agree. But not with his scary tactics to make sure the corporate cats and big corpoirations have their way!
Read the Globe and Mail and better still the Toronto Daily Star! And don’t forget the CBC–the best source of balanced perspective that gives you the real news and what your not-so-foreign Canadian cousins are thinking…

I wish Larry would look into this if he’s got some time, but I’ve read yesterday in a foreign mag. (Canadian, eh!) that The O’Bummer Prez of the Awakening People sent a letter to FORMER French President Chirac, bypassing (and thus ‘slapping’ Sarkozy who can’t stand Obummer and called him “immature”) French Prez Sarkozy! Is it a joke…If this is true, he’s alienated Brown of hte UK and now France?

Well, at least you gave me a lighthearted momment-so thanks for that.

I’m starting to agree with my husband he said first to fix this mess we have to vote against the incumbent. Vote every last one of them out. Doesn’t matter the political lines. Once things are shaken up then we can start to vote for people again.

My first Presidential election was in 1976. Fresh out of collage I wanted to get involved in the political process and joined by local Democratic Party Club. It was just prior to our primary and I researched all of the candidates, because they announced a meeting to “discuss” what candidate the club should endorse.

The meeting featured only one speaker – the state campaign manager for Jimmy Carter. The club leaders were following the instructions of the county party leader who was following the instructions of the state party leader. Carter was our candidate – no discussion – no vote.

You are very right that, even with term limits, voters have no real choice during elections.

Inside the Beltway there is virtually no difference between a Republican or a Democrat – they both enjoy the same lifestyle and benefits – and they both take from the same corporate donors. The animosity we see on TV between the GOP and Democrats is a show to keep their charade going.

And then, they have the nerve to cry in outrage over Bernie Madoff? This is the Ponzi Scheme of the Universe. The crooks work for us and they want to social engineer at the same time. Big money and power, the ugly stepsisters.

We’re being taken to the cleaners. We need to wake up, quick!

I kind of disagree on one aspect. If foreign countries perceive Obama, Congress and this administration not only in disarray and incompetent but trying to pass one over them, they will stop their niceties and begin asking for either gold or show us the finger.

Obama and Congress better start looking solid, which seems simply wishful thinking, or we better start getting ready for the unthinkable. I’m telling you.
