Obama took out the African American woman that had been his political mentor, and who called him “her sucessor”- Alice Palmer, a long time progressive activist in the Civil Rights movement who became a state senator in Illnois. This turns what he has done to HRC into a pattern. He finds a progressive female senator to mentor him, then the next time she seeks political office he decides he wants the same position and fights an ugly campaign against her. Before I read this article I thought Obama’s negative change started relatively recently (when his ambition trumped friendship and ideals at the start of this campaign), but now I see it goes all the way back to the start of his political career. I am even more firmly convinced Obama definitely shouldn’t be President. This needs to get out everywhere, this is the kind of politicing Obama has done since day one. Remember Alice Palmer is an African American woman and a long time Civil Rights activist and Obama smacked her down hard because she got in the way of his political ambitions.
