I'm not surprised. We saw an excellent piece last night about Saatch & Saatchi and how they manipulate public opinion. This has been going on for nearly thirty years what I can determine. This stuff about Michigan is par for the course.

<em>"The irony is astounding."</em>

I really have to chime in here: There is no irony when you consider <strong>he is bi-racial</strong>. He has no cultural or socioligical connection to the black community. He plays the race card in a way no self-respecting black person, would knowing the seriousness of doing so and how it trivializes racism.

The man was raised by his mother and grandparents, in Hawaii, which is not known for having a sizeable black community; a mulatto who could easily blend in with Hawaiians and not standout as an AA with a white mother and African father. And since we're on the subject how much contact did he even have with black side of his family? VERY LITTLE. And even if he had, the African colonial experience is different from the African American experience which stripped us of culture and language, folllowed by years of discrimination through segregation, Jim Crow laws and the violence of lynching. At the time Barack Obama was born, many African nations were gaining their independence. The Civil Rights Act was signed in 1964. It's a whole different ball of wax. And he has somehow co-opted a heritage that doesn't belong to him and he is basically destroying, it aided and abetted by AAs desperate to fulfill a sense of validation in his candidacy.

For this AA he is not just a nightmare, he is the devil! As was once pointed out in a favorite movie of mine: What would you expect the devil to look like? Nobody would fall for a guy with horns, pointy ears, a cape and a pitchfork. He would be attractive and seemingly innocent enough to make 'boneheaded' mistakes that people would overlook.

This is why I feel the AA community is being duped. He would do anything, throw anybody under the bus to get elected POTUS. This Michigan stunt PROVES just how cold and hard a caluclating politican Barack Obama is. He'd throw anyone under the bus just to get elected. And mark my words if he does get elected A WHOLE LOT OF FOLKS ARE GOING TO BE SHOCKED at what he turns out to be. Especially those left-wing nut jobs who have sold their souls and censored all dialogue in this Primary.

The Democratic Party ought to be ashamed of themselves. They have pissed on a LIFETIME of loyalty from me.

BTW, the name of that moview was <em>Broadcast News.</em> A movie that forecasted the demise of network news. Rent it along with <em>Network</em>. Very Chilling in these times.

And yes, the devil couldn't disguise his ears. Maybe that's why he's so sensitive about them.

Obama is doing scorched earth politics. He's using every dirty and incendiary trick in the book to get the prize and doesn't care that its leaving a trail of devastation and alienation behind him.

And I think it will be a nightmare at the convention. I can see the party bosses and liberal activists ganging up on Hillary and demand she withdraw and endorse Glowbama(see the cover of Rollingstone) or else.

The future doesn't look too bright.

Lots of good and serious points made here. I have made a couple of them myself.

But right now I want to share some laughter with you. A girlfriend just sent this to me and it really made me laugh:

A gem from our possible future Fearless Leader!!!!

'My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it.'

Dean's actions (stripping Michigan and Florida's delegates) was just about the stupidest thing he could have done. Fiscalliberal's comment describes exactly why.

He's been doing the same thing since Iowa. Remember all the ads urging voters to crossover. In Nevada he ran ads all the time urging voters to register Democrats for just one day. That's where the phrase (One Day Democrats) came from. I'll bet half his supprot has come from republicans and Independents.

This Drives me insane. It is the primary reason I truly detest Obama. These Republicans assholes are responsible for the mess this country is in. They brought this mess on us. I DETEST EVERYTHING REPUBLICANS STAND FOR AND THIS ASSHOLE HAS INVITED THEM INTO OUR PARTY, and our Party is asking them to nominate our candidate.

Republicans have shown such great judgement the last two elections. No wonder Obama likes them. Same with Independents. they have no business choosing our candidate if they are too stupid to know which party has caused this mess.

We are truly screwed. I am a lifelong democrat, and I resent the fact that I am considering leaving my Party because of this, but I am.

It seems to me that in Michigan there were a lot of Big Boy Blogs urging Democrats to vote in the Republican primary for Mitt or McCain. I can't remember. Seemed infantile to me.

Who gives a shit who Republican nominate? Of course look how those same blogs are behaving now. Still little boys trying to sabotag the country.

If the DNC thinks it's okay for Republicans to vote in the Democratic primary for a day, then how about they also ask the Republicans to finance them as well. Quit asking for donations from Democrats and cozy up to the Republicans instead. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to put their money where their vote is—at least for a day. NOT!

LOTS of campaigning. And he's from the neighboring state of IL, and his campaign staff was crossing the border all the time bumper stickers and all sorts of stuff (or people would just cross into Chicago to bring it back -- free of charge).

Here's an article on Huff Po about a deceptive leaflet that was spread around Grand Rapids: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dan-treul/dirty-leaflet-campaign-la_b_81229.html

(The guy who wrote that article is an Obama supporter, but at least he recognizes the campaign's dirty tricks).

<blockquote>Is he really so arrogant and self centered that he doesn’t see what he’s doing?</blockquote>

When added to the Wright, Farrakhan, Auchi, Rezko, and Gaddafi connections, it really does seem to be a campaign of "god damn America."

But possibly in his head, he really thinks these things don't matter, look at Pelosi and Reid, and <strong>their</strong> reaction, agreeing to support him..

There is a sort of disconnect between understanding the impact of prior decisions and their effect on a run for the presidency, (rationalized with "so WHAT if I took money from Rezko, the media can spin anything, run it like Rove, et al..") and reality, every potential problem explained away with a specious, "we'll run it like Rove," <strong>a xerox, again,</strong> not understanding the finer points Rove addressed.

It's an inability to properly judge the landscape one is facing, and yes, it goes back to megalomaniac, infantile narcissism. Think of a cripple, but Obama's decision making process is permanently crippled, his permanent perceptions will always be seen through the lens of the infantile narcissist, like a drama queen, <strong>every thing </strong>must be turned into a struggle, trying to break Mom's will. It's a behavioral pattern, and no doubt affected every aspect of his life.

For instance, I would say it makes no impression on Obama how and WHY people are appalled at Wright. It is simply another fire to put out, as opposed to a morally offensive transgression, associating with men who think white people should be murdered. "Farakkhan respects Ghaddafi, Ghaddafi blew up an airplane full of people, where is the problem here?"

"People may not like it, spin it"

"Oh."

He throws it into the spam file, Brazile goes on TV, but meanwhile, the democrats are facing a big problem, as is the country.

But its' about Obama, not the nation, because the narcissism dictates.

Same with Bush. See the similarities in the specious thought pattern, indicative in the infantile narcissistic?

And it shouldn't even be Dean's issue. Nowhere is it written that Iowa and NH have some kind of inaienble right to go first. t's not anything for teh DNC to get involved in, let the states work out their own schedules. Nobody's going to die if states where people actually live have a say before unpopulated states.
