I wrote him a letter long before any of this crisis occurred asking him as chair of the banking committee to look into hedge funds and to work on controlling credit card companies and their predatory lending. I never even got a response--canned or otherwise. Then when he decided to run for president his campaign was largely funded by money from the banking industry. He, in fact, received the most money from these sources of any candidate running. If he is re-elected in CT next year, this state is madder than I think it is. At the moment his polling numbers are slightly lower than a potentially good Republican candidate. We'll have to see how it plays out..., but getting rid of Dodd would go a long way toward sorting out our financial mess....
