So much for “HOPE” and “CHANGE.” ["The Obama campaign is now fueled by insults and slander. They have taken the low road." - Phil Singer, conference call.] Obama and his campaign saw this today in the New York Times, and went crazy:
Clinton Backer Points to Electoral College Votes as New Measure — Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana, who backs Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton for president, proposed another metric Sunday by which superdelegates might judge whether to support Mrs. Clinton or Senator Barack Obama.
Now go look at Mark Halperin’s Time magazine blog, The Page:
Obama Camp: “Desperate” Clinton “Will Not Be Able to Win. . .By Any Conventional Measure” [unflattering photo of Clinton]
Campaign’s daily talking points say Americans re “not interested in politics that tears people down.”
Obama Campaign Attacks Clinton’s Ties to Lobbyists, Defends McPeak
Campaign topper Plouffe says Clinton has been “wallowing” in support from lobbyists during campaign, says she’s gotten $900,000 in contributions.
Also says Obama probably wouldn’t have used same words as supporter Gen. McPeak, but thinks general had a “fair reading” of B. Clinton’s quote. Says questioning people’s patriotism has “no place.”
You can listen to the audio via The Page.
Clinton camp response:
Clinton spokesman Phil Singer responds: “The Obama campaign likes to talk about being free from the influence of special interest money. But that’s just words. That fact is Sen. Obama has accepted millions from federal lobbying firms, big oil, defense contracts and the securities industry, among other special interests.”

OBAMA IS NERVOUS. He can’t take it that Clinton won’t lie down for him.
He is used to the BRUTE FORCE of Chicago politics mollifying his opponents.
But NOT THIS LADY. And NOT HER SUPPORTERS.
