Meanwhile — and we are sure that superdelegates are paying attention to all of these stories — reports CNN’s Political Ticker, “Clinton stresses party unity in Pennsylvania.”
Mark Halperin notes that Hillary Clinton is looking ahead to the general election:
“Clinton Takes Jabs at McCain on Economy, Policies”
At Blue Bell, Pennsylvania event, praises McCain and their work in Senate together, but adds “As he himself has said, he doesn’t know much about the economy.”
Also stressed that Democrats must unite once there’s a nominee, saying “none of the things I talk about will happen if Sen. McCain is elected.”
Although the MSM has not covered the following as widely as it should, you should also know that today Hillary Clinton tackled the following — looking ahead to her presidency in which she will immediately address these crises:
Clinton Calls for Broader Government Role in Mortgage/Housing/Credit Crisis
In major Monday morning policy address in Philadelphia, New Yorker proposes new measures, including a government role in buying underwater mortgages and more steps to protect homeowners. Read details of her plan here.
“We need a President who is ready on day one to be Commander-in-Chief of our economy. If you give me the chance, I will be that President.” Read full speech transcript here.
Plus: Three WashPost op-eds written by candidate advisers make their economic cases. Read Clinton’s here.

SusanUnPC’s additional note: It is important to mention Hillary Clinton’s major speeches today, imho.
Especially in the context of discussion about superdelegates. I know that many of mine — Senators Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray, and my Congressman Norm Dicks — pay attention to the important policy positions of Hillary Clinton, and know her in-depth knowledge of these issues.
