The Shape of Things to Come

Sometimes things are so obvious that they pass us by without notice. Perhaps it is because they are so blatantly true that we choose not to acknowledge them. Or maybe it is that because they challenge our preheld conceptions so strongly that we choose to ignore their reality. Because otherwise we would feel bewildered, alone and helpless.

I know that many who once supported Senator Obama are in complete shock over the revelations of his 20 year intimate association with a bigot and a racist. It doesn’t fit into the mold of who we think Barack Obama is. His pastor surely doesn’t preach the “message” of hope that Obama is associated with. In fact his pastor preaches what one could only define as hate. But just why is it that we so strongly believe that Senator Obama has a message of hope and a new kind of politics? In the preface of his book The Audacity of Hope which he patterned after a sermon of his spiritual mentor, Jeremiah Wright, Obama gives us a glimmer of an answer.

Audacity of Hype

“I am new enough on the national political scene that I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views. As such, I am bound to disappoint some, if not all, of them.”

You see, Senator Obama believes that if enough people project their views of what he should be onto him that he will be able to take advantage of their ignorance and become elected to the highest office of the most powerful nation on earth. That is the more subtle message to what Obama states plainly. But he won’t tell you that because doing so would cause you to wake up and realize that he is just taking advantage of your hope and your faith in him to hoodwink you into giving him the reins to power.

How else do you explain his oft-cited ability to bring people together? Does he have any experience whatsoever of doing this in a legislative body? Has he used his supposedly remarkable skills to bring an end to the partisan bickering and stalemate on Capitol Hill? Has he been able to work across the aisle and bring people together to end the Iraq war? Has he been able to work across the aisle to do anything other than water down regulatory legislation so much that it becomes unnecessary while at the same time taking money from the industry he was supposed to be regulating?

Unfortunately the answer to all these questions is a simple word: NO!

And yet still we hear from pundits and political hacks how Obama has the ability to do this and that without a shred of evidence that he has ever demonstrated the slightest capacity to do so. Not a shred of evidence. In fact many of his supporters when asked what his legislative achievements are seem bewildered and begin to stutter just like he is so famous for doing. Because quite simply they cannot answer the question. Truthfully.

So we are to take his word that he has these abilities because why? Because he tells us he can? Because people say that he can? Because his opponent and/or her husband are such terrible people? Because we may never again have the chance?

It seems there are no easy or substantial answers. Because to answer these questions based on the evidence requires not only a willing suspension of disbelief, it requires a huge leap of faith. And faith is an article of religion not politics.

So to form our judgments we are left with the truth. And the truth is that Senator Obama has a pattern of associations with unsavory characters. And I am being generous and polite. What follows is one of the most recent videos making it’s way around the internet. It includes clips I have not seen before that I find revolting and entirely offensive. And I am a Democrat.

America is the same as Al Qaeda?

What this type of information in the hands of the Republican machine and their money will do is beyond anyone’s comprehension. Mark my words, if we are so unfortunate to have this man as our candidate we will need to redefine the term swiftboating for an entire generation.

  • Kourian

It’s all true. Always has been. Mac Johnson let fly at him months ago. Sized him up perfectly. The same thing we all see. But in contrast to us here who actually think now and again the sheeple out there who are so easily bamboozled by his cheap tricks… He’s a two bit hypester and he can keep the change.

    • Shainzona

      GREAT line!

“He’s a two bit hypester and he can keep the change.”

Wonder which Washingon church the big BO will choose if he’s lucky enough to become POTUS?

  • Strawberrybitch

Maybe it’s that time of the month but this Wright stuff is making me so sad. Obama is going to win the primaries, get slaughtered in November thanks to Wright, and both the Democrats and African Americans will suffer for years to come.

    • Fleaflicker

At times I get sad, but more typically I become enraged.

    • chris

oh strawberry, hang out for a week plus and check again..you’ll be mad if the same conditions exist…it isn’t you.

  • Iloqium

    Larry,

I hope I may call you by your first name…although we have not met – I read your blog every day and I reall admire how you pull all this info together.

A suggestion – As Obama and his surrogates keep pushing for Hillary to quit the race – maybe we should all start pushing for Obama to follow in his mentor’s [one of his many highly ethical mentors] footsteps – in this case Joe Lieberman – and tell him to run as an independent.

What can we do to bring Hillary more positive coverage? I am planning to go down to Pennsylvania on 4/19 to help….but there must be something big we can do and get noticed.

    • Fleaflicker

I prefer to just take the guy down so we can save our party and win the presidency.

  • jen

I do feel sort of sorry for all the young people being pulled in to Obamanation. Once he is exposed as the marketed charlatan he is, they will probably stay out of politics the rest of their lives.

Hillary is going to pull this out because with our help he’s not going to be able to keep his past in the shadows any longer.

Thank you to everyone here for doing the job the Corporate Press won’t.

  • http://tersaona.net MoodSwingeR

And, Senator Obama, we have been disappointed. Most, if not all, of us.

    • Mary

It does appear that Obama’s chickens have come home to roost.

  • mathomas

God that video is hard to watch, and I already saw all the Reverend Wright videos. The way it’s edited together is really powerful, and not in a good way. How can Obama believe he can be President with his past? What are Dean, Pelosi, Kerry and Kennedy thinking? I have to believe they know about his past, but they are still pushing for him. I’m starting to think they could care less about winning the Presidency, and that it’s more important for them to destroy the Clintons. I was talking to my parent’s friends this past weekend who have always been heavily involved in politics, and they seem to believe that Gore is somehow going to be in play at the convention. Now I would not be surprised if that happens. I’ve already decided that I’m going to become an Independent. I can’t relate to the DNC leadership at all.

    • rwc

What are Dean, Pelosi, Kerry and Kennedy thinking?”,

They aren’t,this is why Bush can still pimp slap Congressional Democrats at will on a number of issues.

And they wonder why in the polls Congress rates lower than Cheney.

They are a disgrace and out of touch. Too many limosine rides, state dinners and sycophants telling them how great they are.

They don’t get Obama is already radioactive now and will sink the party in the GE should he get the nomination.

      • tiffany

If Obama gets the nom and loses the GE, which I predict, I am sure the DNC and the MSM will blame the Clintons. Pelosi and pals just don’t get it!

    • sarnold49

I agree and I have been a loyal democrat for my entire life but I am simply disgusted this year. For the most part people have just drank the cult Obamalaid but as for Kennedy, Kerry, & Pelosi it is totally childish temper tantrums because of some wrong they think the Clintons have done to them personally. It is scary and disgusting to think these petty little people have been running our country all these years!

We should have it made this year! All we should be doing is reminding people of how good it was for them and the country in the 90′s but instead we have democrats comparing Bill Clinton to Bush and Nixon and talking about how the republican party is the party of ideas and a possible nominee that compares himself with JFK and Reagan (were they alike in any way?) and distancing himself from Clinton!

  • typical.white.person

Chris Matthews kept asking Bill Richardson today what exactly caused Richardson to go from the Clinton camp to the Obama camp, after being a member of the Clinton administration.

Richardson couldn’t give a direct answer. He finally admitted he didn’t know why he chose Obama, other than Obama’s alleged charisma. Richardson looked really stupid when he couldn’t answer a simple question.

    • Fleaflicker

I read a rumor here earlier that he did it because Obama contributed heavily to Richardson’s reelection campaign. I have no way of proving this. But I agree, Richardson isn’t doing this for a legitimate reason.

      • Michael Lafferty

        “I read a rumor here…”
“I have no way of proving this…”
“But…[he] isn’t doing this for a legitimate reason.”

What the hell? Are you even listening to the little voice inside you head which should be telling you that this string of words indefensible?

As someone who has worked for years to ‘determine the truth’ in matters of grave importance, I cannot fathom why you would choose to reference what you acknowledge is a rumor, state that you cannot prove the rumor, but add that—by inference—you know that the actor isn’t “…doing this for a legitimate reason?”

Please tell me how this sort of thinking separates you from the widely acknowledged ‘crazies’ who swoon at the feet of Senator Obama?

        How about something like…

“I believe that Governor Richardson has abandoned Senator Clinton and offered his endorsement of Senator Obama largely because his campaign is saddled with unpaid debt, he has received substantial contributions from Senator Obama or his allies to help eliminate this debt, and I suspect that he is showing his gratitude by offering the endorsement.”

It would, of course, be helpful if you actually reported the unpaid debt both before and after any contributions from Senator Obama, his political action committee or his campaign, and were able to find an acceptable source which reports that such contributions took place, in what amounts and when they were tendered.

        • Fleaflicker

Geez, take a chill pill Jill.

I heard that this was true and I stated that I had no proof of it. Last I checked reporting facts weren’t a crime.

I found Richardson’s decision to endorse suspect from the start. And even he can’t give anyone a solid reason for the decision. I don’t know why he did it. For all I know he did it so his name would show up in print. Who frickin knows.

If I meant to smear him I would have alleged what you stated. I didn’t.

          • Michael Lafferty

What? Are we back in middle school here?

There is nothing criminal in your conduct, nor was there any such accusation. But, inferring that something is indeed a fact, by pointing out the fact that you heard a rumor, does not itself make the content of that rumor factual.

            Nice try.

Stating something to the effect of what I offered would not have been ‘smearing’ Governor Richardson. It would have been a reasonable account of your observations and beliefs, if supported by facts and conclusions. It need not actually be true: it would, however, need to be reasonable, supportable and defensible. Stating what you did—reinforcing a completely unsubstantiated rumor and passing it on without attribution—is actually akin to smearing this individual.

You do not seem to get how you weaken your otherwise important and substantive claims by injecting such information into the discussion.

            • Fleaflicker

Scuse me….but the word rumor does not imply fact. Not sure what middle school you went to but it is obvious that you didn’t graduate.

Here, let me break it down for you. I apologize in advance for all the big words.

              Definition of rumor:

1: talk or opinion widely disseminated with no discernible source

2: a statement or report current without known authority for its truth

Now, in case you don’t know, the phrase “no discernible source” means that something is unproven. So does the phrase “without known authority.” And UNPROVEN implies that something ISN’T a FACT!

Now report to the principle’s office for an after school suspension.

    • bert

What?????????? You mean they let him go on TV and didn’t give him a script with stage directions?

      • Fleaflicker

        LOL!

    • typical.white.person

I watched the repeat of Matthews show to see exactly what Richardson did say.

In response to Matthews direct question asking Richardson why he was voting for Obama: Richardson said Obama “presents something new, presents change” and then Richardson added he “can’t put his finger on it.” (the reason why)

What a effing fool Richardson is. Someone needs to play that clip as a “typical.Obama.Supporter”

  • Ann

Please tell me what we can do to bring more of this truth to light?

My intention is not to bash, but I have felt from the very beginning that Barack Obama is not what he seems and that he is not the right leader of for this country at this time.

Can we contact superdelegates — forward this info to them — would it matter? Please somebody tell me they are looking at and noticing this too and not just being insulated and buying into MSM talking points.

Whenever news programs fawn over him, I am so mystified — perhaps being a NYer I am naturally suspicious — but it just makes me want to ask — who is actually the ‘Oz’ who is behind the curtain. What is their agenda in pushing forward someone with no experience and who does not even seem to have a hunger and a passion for the job of CiC. It just feels to me like ambition for ambition’s sake. I am honestly not trying to be nasty. This has just been my gut reaction to him from day one.

    • Fleaflicker

My best advice is to disseminate the information widely. The more people that read about it and comment about it, the bigger the stir caused in the blogosphere, the more likely the MSM will be forced to pick the story up. Report it on the MSM blogs. Eventually people will begin asking hard questions and the MSM will report on it if only to make it seem as if they are meaningful.

    • tiffany

I believe Obama will be Kerry, Kennedy and Daschle’s puppet much like Bush was for the Repub party. Obama is way over his head but his advisors will run the party while his ego gets stroked. I believe the DNC is behind him because they think he will bring many new and young people into the party. However, now that he is being vetted, he has become radioactive and the DNC and the advisors are stuck with egg on their faces. This will be the downfall of our party but I am sure they will blame this all on the Clintons.

    • Ramasan

      Call the DNC 1.202.863.8000

Ask to speak with a live person and calmly state your concerns. The Dallas Morning News recently printed the resluts of a study showing most Obama voters did NOT cast a vote in any of the down ticket races in the Texas primary.

Pelosi needs to know this also. 202.225.4965
I didn’t even get started on the sexism part of their blindness.

    • Kevin

      More of what truth?

  • http://thehorizontalworld.blogspot.com/ Mary Jo Kopechne

Excellent post, Fleaflicker. And thanks for including that video–a very powerful montage.

I just saw a post from a kool aid drinker on mydd today saying something like, that Rev Wright stuff took up one weekend and is all over now. Obama’s speech put it all to rest.

That scares me. Why do they want that guy in office? I’m not prone to hyperbole and I think Obama is a danger to our country, internally and externally.

What are people thinking? BTW, did you read Bud White’s piece on Obama, Wright and Racsim at mydd today? It’s a nice complement to yours.

    • Fleaflicker

Thank you. Yes, I did read the diary yesterday. For some reason i can’t find it today. If you have the link can you please post it here?

The Obamanut Cultists are delusional believing this Wright story will go away any time soon.

      • http://thehorizontalworld.blogspot.com/ Mary Jo Kopechne

Here’s the link to White’s piece. I think his analysis of Obama speaking in code is brilliant.

        http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/3/24/18514/0740

Keep posting your good work, Fleaflicker!

    • Kevin

I’m sorry Mary Jo, but you and Fleaflicker both continue to push this childishly simplistic view of things… “because Obama went to that church, or associated with Wright – he shares and endorses the views that were stated 6 years ago in that taped sermon”. Next I suppose you’ll say that the church has scrubbed all sermons and other media out there to hide the virulent views? LOL

Does every catholic agree w/ the Pope (or their own priest’s) views? Does every Baptist agree w/ the Baptist conventions views on the submission of women to men? Do all evangelicals agree w/ the views of Hagee, Falwell, Robertson, et al???? NO

Come on people – we need to honestly and openly discuss the topic(s) at hand and vet each one of the candidates for what they are – job applicants, not contestants on American Idol for pete sake

      • sarnold49

        Kevin,
You do no let your children be taught to hate a group of people unless you hate that group of people!

You do not make statements like “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country” & “typical white woman” without having some of the same BAD beliefs as the Reverend Wright! I wouldn’t stay in a church or anywhere else for 20 minutes listening to that kind of anti-white, anti-black, anti-American, or anti-anyone else teaching let alone 20 years. And I sure wouldn’t take my children there after knowing what kind of things may be said in front of them!

  • Nobama

    Excellent post, as always. Thanks!

Here’s something that’s a real eye-opener about how Wall Street is funding Obama and why:

The Obama Bubble: Why Wall Street Needs a Presidential Brand

    http://www.blackagendareport.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=548&Itemid=34

    Excerpt:

Why do Wall Street and the corporate law firms think they will find a President Obama to be accommodating? As the Black Agenda Report notes, “Evidently, the giant insurance companies, the airlines, oil companies, Wall Street, military contractors and others had closely examined and vetted Barack Obama and found him pleasing.”

That vetting included his remarkable “yes” vote on the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005, a five-year effort by 475 lobbyists, despite appeals from the NAACP and every other major civil rights group. Thanks to the passage of that legislation, when defrauded homeowners of the housing bubble and defrauded investors of the bundled mortgages try to fight back through the class-action vehicle, they will find a new layer of corporate-friendly hurdles.

    • jen

Yoikes Nobama!! That’s some scary stuff. Why oh why can’t the Obamanation see this guy for what he is? :/

The article is from March 5, and this is the first time I’ve seen it linked anywhere. Cripes. :(

  • Michael Lafferty

I ask you: how can you or anyone else deny the genocide of native Americans which during settlement and expansion as predominantly whites of European descent moved westward across our nation? Death at the hands of US calvary who in many well documented cases slaughtered men, women and children in order to subjugate the survivors and appropriate the lands upon which they had roamed freely? Primarily for—not surprisingly—the corporatists of the day, including ranchers, cattlemen and the rail barons?

How about the many tens or even hundreds of thousands who died during World War II at our hands, as we relentlessly firebombed Dresden and Tokyo, and unleashed nuclear weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Were those not acts of genocide? Are those lives simply expendable – the taking justified as some sort of unfortunate collateral damage in our life and death battle with the forces of evil?

Do these examples, perpetrated at our hand, constitute genocide any less so than the acts of Amin in Uganda, Pol Pot in Cambodia or Suharto in Indonesia?

Are you saying that when others engage in such maniacal homicide that it is genocide, and when we do so, that it is not?

    • Fleaflicker

You are a loony tune. No one denies our past history. Hell, I am part Cherokee. So no, I don’t deny the attempted genocide. But that fact doesn’t change the other fact that I believe in and support the Constitution and love my country.

Look… I will spell it out for you. When fighting against a greater evil you fight frickin wars and do horrible things. I don’t agree with A LOT of some of the crap our government has done but we didn’t set out to target innocent civilians in the name of some frickin blasphemy. So take your Al Qaeda sympathizing ass and skedaddle before you make me mad.

And you wouldn’t like me when I’m mad.

      • Michael Lafferty

Whoa. Deny the ‘…attempted genocide?” Attempted? Are you serious?

Let’s put this in perspective. I don’t know you, and you don’t know me. But, I can assure you that I a neither a ‘looney tune’ or one the least bit interested in supporting the candidacy of Senator Obama. I am, however, a 56 year old white male, Vietnam-era veteran with with five years of active duty and ten years of active reserve component duty in the US Army, the bulk of it spent as a military police and military intelligence officer. I also spent thirteen years as a police officer in the eleventh largest metropolitan police agency in the nation.

Ever spent any time in a military component? Working on the street actually supporting the Constitution and defending a community against the behavior of bad guys? Hmm…

“My Al Qaeda sympathizing ass?” coupled with the mildly veiled “… skedaddle before you make me mad. And you wouldn’t like me when I’m mad.” threat?

So that’s what your argument has come down too? Pitiful.

    • Andy

How about the many tens or even hundreds of thousands who died during World War II at our hands, as we relentlessly firebombed Dresden and Tokyo, and unleashed nuclear weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Were those not acts of genocide? Are those lives simply expendable – the taking justified as some sort of unfortunate collateral damage in our life and death battle with the forces of evil?

Michael Lafferty: Are you a Nazi sympathizer?
Because you either don’t know WWII (and WW I) history or you know but sympathize with the Holocaust and all other actions of the Third Reich and its supporting alies.

    • John D

      Michael,

“unleashed nuclear weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? “…”Are those lives simply expendable”…

No, those lives are not simply expendable, nor are the lives in Nanking, China.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanking_Massacre

Read what Japanese troops did to innocent Chinese civilians. My Chinese friends all deplore the use of nuclear weapon, but they are grateful it ended the war.

  • Michael Lafferty

I ask this, because in the video clip you embedded, a question is posed: “How can someone who seeks to lead our nation take spiritual guidance from someone who believes America to be guilty of genocide?”

And I would ask, how can an educated individual NOT believe America to be guilty of genocide? Our checkered history is rich with examples.

    And yet, you say…

Sometimes things are so obvious that they pass us by without notice. Perhaps it is because they are so blatantly true that we choose not to acknowledge them. Or maybe it is that because they challenge our preheld conceptions so strongly that we choose to ignore their reality.

But you too, I presume, would deny American genocide?

    • Mike Howell

      Michael Lafferty –

Thanks for the tiny bit of history completely out of context. In the interest of fairness, you may want to note that more than a few of those Native Americans were killing settlers.

And that was more than a few years ago. Andrew Jackson the Great Indian fighter was the most popular man in the nation. He was considered a “common man” and is the only man to have an era named after him in American political history. He was only the 7th President! It was 1828. Completely different times.

And the Japanese were slaughtering Chinese people.

Do you have a clue how horrible the Pacific theater was?

I suggest that you visit the WWII Museum in New Orleans.

No, the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were never intended to destroy all of the Japanese. Not even close.

Those bombs were intended to spare the lives of millions of Americans, Chinese, Japanese, etc.

I take great exception with your childish analysis.

Comparing the acts of Idi Amin and Pol Pot to Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton is despicable.

I agree that thousands of Africans and Muslims continue to do horrible things to their people – especially women.

But Rev. Wright thinks they’re okey dokey.

BO meddled with an election in Kenya involving his cousin which nearly ended in genocide.

    • PMS

      Mr. Rafferty,

If you think that railing against America for our many past and present sins is called for, perhaps you could encourage Barack to say these same things in his stump speeches. Cut with the creme-filled promises and let’s get right to the meat. I’d be very interested in seeing your candidate (I presume Obama is your man) say the things about America that his friend, mentor, pastor, and spiritual leader says at the next debate in Pennsylvania.

Bring it on, Barack. Don’t hold back. Tell us what you really think. On the record.

P.S. The Brits fire-bombed Dresden. Gen. Sherman was right.

      • Michael Lafferty

“I presume Obama is your man?”

On what basis? Because I encourage reasoned discourse and discourage the sort of rabid conversion evident here?

Nice try. I am on record on this very blog an others having made statements to the effect that as a Democrat, I am excited that a woman and a black man are seeking the Democratic nomination, but that she is the wrong woman, and he is the wrong black man! Neither would be my enthusiastic elective choice, but—as I have repeatedly stated in other threads—Senator Clinton receives my support, and not Senator Obama.

That should not disqualify me for calling the actions of some here—actually, many here—as more similar to the actions of those many Obama supporters who engage in the same sort of diatribe, than not. What ever happened to pointing our the strengths of one candidate and the comparative weaknesses of the other, while engaging in reasoned conversation?

It is becoming difficult to differentiate the posts here at No Quarter from those at the ‘Great Orange Satan’ – it’s rapidly becoming only the identity of the intended target that distinguishes one blog from the other.

        • PMS

Then you just like to argue for argument’s sake?

Apologies for assuming you were one of the Flying Monkeys from the Land of Orange.

As a student of history, the issues you raise are legitimate, but as my post above points out, political suicide. The US elects MAINSTREAM candidates to be POTUS. The preaching/teaching at Jeremiah Wright’s church is far outside of the mainstream (but then, so is the UCC).

JFK was the closest thing to an “out of the mainstream” candidate we have elected in the previous century (although one could make a stronger case for Teddy Roosevelt… but he was a larger-than-life “hero”). Obama is no JFK. Not remotely.

We have three candidates remaining to be POTUS. Two of them are electable, one is not. That “one” is on his way to securing the Democratic nomination due to a compliant media and a jiggered nominating process (I’m not saying it’s jiggered for and by Obama, but that it’s jiggered in a way he has been uniquely able to take advantage of). His nomination, and the crushing electoral defeat he will experience, will render such damage to the Democratic Party that it may well not recover for a decade or two. The fragile liberals+working class coalition will be destroyed. The lingering resentment of the AA community will have far reaching repercussions. The non-Cuban Hispanic vote will be ripe for the picking with a pro-immigration Republican POTUS from a border state. The Unions are history, period. They can no longer muster the manpower or the cash to offset the Corporate interests.

A better plan to destroy the Democratic Party than Barrack Obama’s campaign couldn’t be imagined.

          • TeakwoodKite

Flying Monkeys from the Land of Orange.
Or a knight from Ni? Just kidding…NI! NI! NI!

To your point…as fate would have it, dollars to donuts, we are going to have color codes re-instituted just for the election…so you might add the fear factor in your equation as well.

    • rwc

Why don’t you leave the U.S. since you hate it and the people who live here?

I’m sure the enlightened nations of China, Iran or North Korea would love having you as a citizen.

    • mimi

Let me stop this discussion by getting to the real heart of the problem: Barack Obama has coopted the tortured history of black Americans just to get elected POTUS. He aligned himself with this minister in his desperate search for authentic AA identity of which he has NONE because he was raised by his mother and grandparents who are Caucasians. His black heritage is a direct line to the continent of Africa, in Kenya, not America.

I’m AA and I would be the last somebody to dispute America’s checkered past. But Obama wants to be president of all the people and the hate rhetoric of Rev Wright has no place in the national discourse of American politics, just as the hate politics of white racists who would argue just the opposite.

Obama came on the stage as an agent of change and hope. It’s simply pointless to argue the validity of Wright’s view on America’s history when his disciple has been projecting a completely different profile. The hisorical truth has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Obama, the candidate for the highest of office of the land.

This is about Obama! Not history!

He stayed in that church because he is confused! And he’s angry about having been deprived of an ethnic identity that he is FORCED to wear in a society that still has not made peace with racism.

Fine. But nothing about us electing him president will change this. That is his personal goal and if anything, he’s trying to keep his DNA from being an impediment to achieving that goal.

That’s his problem. Just as is his lack of a cohesive black identity. My AA identity is just fine, thank you very much. And I don’t see why we have to elect someone who is so conflicted and still coming to grips with his ethnic heritage.

Let him work that out as a private citizen not as POTUS. Especially since for me, nothing in Obama’s resume is on par with HRC. I want someone who has at least been exposed to the inner circles of power, to the diplomatic world, and someone who certainly has been in the Senate 6 more years than he has and has served at least one full term.

Trivialize and mock HRC’s CV all you want, it still won’t inflate Obama’s.

      And that’s the BOTTOM LINE!

  • Retired

Obama’s ghostwriter wrote: “I am new enough on the national political scene that I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views. As such, I am bound to disappoint some, if not all, of them.”

Does this, in effect, mean that his principal campaign promise is to disappoint those who vote for him? And who can complain? The guy admits as much in a book.

    • Patrick Henry

      Freudian Slip…??

You make a good point retired..Maybe thats what Obama was thinking..and it slipped out..

“I AM BOUND TO DISAPPOINT SOME..(IF NOT ALL) OF THEM..” ****Suckers****

Excellent Point Retired..Thanks ..and Good Nite..

      • Fleaflicker

        The “suckers” part is evident.

    • TeakWoodKite

Another canvas for the painters, Retired?

In oil I would guess. Fits with what you said to a tee.

    • Fleaflicker

It’s Hagatha Powers and Ghoulsee in spades. You can’t trust a word the guy says. Not only do people project on him, he encourages their projections. Everything has an out.

  • Ray

To answer your queston-the OZ is Pelosi. She is out (vandetta) to get Hillary and has a personal agenda to be president herself, or at least vice president. She is behind this as well as Kerry. Will they be shocked when this whole charade boomerangs on them and Hillary is the nominee. LOL
What’s so funny about this all is they all think they’ll be Vice president including Richardson. They are all being bamboozled by BO. Richardson too. BO will hire all his black cronies.
BO remarked he wanted to hire Bill Clinton for his cabinet because he is a genius. Behind every great man is usually a great woman (Hillary). BO acts so sure that he will win. It sounds like he knows this is rigged. Donate to Hillary. We need a landslide. BO is the only one who has not signed the revote/seat the delegates. Hillary and DNC signed the go ahead and Hillary even raised the money to pay for it. Please spread the word. BO would not sign to seat the delgates in FL & MI. He is stopping the voices of FL & MI.
    No Oblahma.
Boycott sponsors as well as the TV show themselves. This is the only way to get the truth out. A boycott started against sponsors and then we started to hear the truth. Now we are back to the lies. Contact sponsors and let them know you will not be buying their products unless they stop the lies about Hillary. Pass the word. Repost.
Something happens and we will all write in Hillary. But we need that landslide now. Donate please.

    • TeakWoodKite

BO will hire all his black cronies.

You maybe correct about the cronies but the color of the skin is not relevant. Is it?

      • PMS

No it is not. Besides, Barack would be hiring someone else’s cronies. I don’t think he has much say in those matters (just like W doesn’t).

      • Escoffier

His white University of Chicago free market disaster capitalists and the Illinois political hack club are what terrifies me.

        • rwc

          You got it.

And Obama is equal opportunity employer of cronies. He’s very progressive in this department.

  • Ann

Thanks, Ray. Yes,I donate regularly and send letters and emails of complaint regularly to these stations and papers passing the b.s. I agree — we all need to up the ante – I keep writing to Dean and Pelosi and Brazile et al telling them to seat the FL and MI delegates otherwise they don’t get my vote. Sending such letters to papers and SDs seems to be prudent too.

  • Michael Lafferty

    Um, that’s…

Speaker Pelosi, or Congresswoman Pelosi. And, it’s Senator Clinton, Senator Kerry, Senator Obama and Governor Richardson. As well as, President Clinton or former President Clinton. Show some class, please.

    And, the work is ‘vendetta.’

And just what the hell does this mean? “BO will hire all his black cronies.”

Do you have any idea what that sounds like or suggests to a reasonable person? A simple count on your several fingers would suggest that his ‘cronies’ are more white, than non-white, including black. You are headed dangerously over the edge here.

Take a deep breath, try to think like an adult, and try again.

    • AngryWhitePerson

What a snotty response from someone who purports to have class.

      • Fleaflicker

I think that actually what he meant to purport is that he is an ass. And he just spelled it wrong.

    • barbh

Blog much? uhhh this is a blog, not the NY Times. We don’t have a style sheet here. Get over it…

  • Michael Lafferty

Excuse me – it’s late. That should have read “…the word is ‘vendetta.’

Susan? Larry? is there a hall monitor here somewhere? We certainly seem to need one…

    • Mary

The hall monitors are all over at Daily Kos.

Obama’s Oz is Wall Street. Please read the article Nobama linked upthread.

Here it is again, because it is THAT important!

The Obama Bubble: Why Wall Street Needs a Presidential Brand

    • Escoffier

They think they have bought their “get out of jail free” card. As the Rezko trial is showing, everything in Chicago politics is for sale, so Wall St has simply joined the club.

      • simon

        IMO, Wall Street is unstable.

Speaking of overestimating your power, when you’re ( wall street collective) that drunk, and that clueless, and not too smart to begin with, and you have no internal system of morals to support and guide you, you’re easy to lead, easy to con.

I just can’t help but see Wall Street as the weak link here, despite the illusion of power that comes with cash.

        Money can’t buy you intellect.

A Little Sugar Makes the Medicine Go Down

    America’s Next 9/11

    By Paul Craig Roberts

24/03/08 “ICH” — – The investigative journalist Edward Jay Epstein has taken up the Litvinenko case.
The media used the Litvinenko case as sensational propaganda against Russian President Putin and then tossed it aside. For those whose memories of the case have faded, Alexander Litvinenko was a former KGB officer living in England who died in 2006, apparently from the radioactive isotope Polonium-210.

The charge that Putin was behind Litvinenko’s death seems to have originated with Boris Berezovsky, one of the Russian Jewish oligarchs who had grabbed the lion’s share of privatized Soviet assets during Yeltsin’s presidency. http://www.edwardjayepstein.com/Berezovsky.htm Epstein reports that Berezovsky’s protector in Russia was Litvinenko, the deputy head of the organized crime unit of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), the successor to the KGB. When Berezovsky fled Russia to escape fraud charges, Litvinenko followed. Epstein reports that Berezovsky has declared an agenda of “overtrowing the regime of his archenemy, Mr. Putin.” According to Epstein, “Alex Goldfarb, the executive director of Mr. Berezovsky’s foundation, prepared for Litvinenko’s end by writing out his ‘deathbed’ statement, which, according to Mr. Goldfarb, was drawn from statements Litvinenko had dictated to him.”

Epstein writes: “A few hours after Litvinenko died on November 23, 2006, Mr. Goldfarb arranged a press conference and released the sensational deathbed statement accusing Mr. Putin of the poisoning.” Web sites supported by Berezovsky spread the story that Litvinenko was murdered by the FSB.

The effort to link Putin and the FSB to Litvinenko’s death might be a tale designed to cover-up a more serious crime in the making. Polonium-210 is an indication that someone is trying to build a nuclear weapon. Epstein finds reasons to suspect that Litvinenko had, and perhaps Berezovsky has, connections to a Polonium smuggling scheme, and Litvinenko’s death resulted from accidental or careless exposure to Polonium-210.

Who would be trying to build a secret nuclear weapon or perhaps only a “dirty bomb” that would serve to spread some radiation and massive amounts of fear and hysteria? The public has been carefully prepared to suspect Iran. If such a device were exploded somewhere in the United States, Bush, Cheney, and the neocon nazis would have their second new Pearl Harbor to justify their planned attack on Iran.

We know that the Bush regime wants to attack Iran. Despite the NIE report that Iran abandoned its nuclear weapons program several years ago and despite no signs of a weapons program having been uncovered by IAEA inspectors, Bush, Cheney, and the neocon nazis continue to agitate for striking Iran “before it is too late.” Their politicized military commander in Iraq, Gen. Petraeus, keeps insisting that Iran is training Iraqi insurgents and supplying weapons that are killing US troops. Bush and Cheney themselves have made trips to Europe and the Middle East trying to marshall support for an attack on Iran. Anyone who is not deaf, blind and stupid knows that the Bush regime is doing everything it can to create circumstances that will permit a US attack on Iran.

We know for a fact that the Bush regime created false evidence, lied, and deceived in order to attack Iraq. All the reasons given for the US invasion have proven to be false. The real agenda has never been declared. Yet, five years later the traitors in high office who deceived Americans into a war in behalf of a hidden agenda have not been held accountable. As Agatha Christie said, getting away with one murder makes it easy to commit another.

There is so much that Americans do not know about secret schemes serving undeclared agendas. Those who have attempted to clue in fellow citizens are invariably frustrated, because Americans have been trained to dismiss the messenger who brings news of “false flag” events as a “conspiracy theorist.”

Best-selling author Steve Alten in his recently published book, The Shell Game, attempts to reach Americans with a thriller that mixes fiction with fact. Alten describes a conspiracy, beginning in 2007 and ending in 2012, by a Black Op group in a Republican administration to set off nuclear weapons in two American cities, with planted evidence pointing to Iran. It is a historical thriller predictive of our immediate future by an author who has no illusions about the US Government or the interest groups that control it.

Alten’s book is a first class thriller set in the real world of today. It is a perfect read for Americans who need their dose of reality to be watered down with fiction and delivered as entertainment.

And the “talking about a losing and lying candidate” refers to the precious one, as he is the only candidate out there that will ultimately fit that bill.

    • Andy

Cee, are purposely off topic or you just didn’t understand what was the post about?

  • Patrick Henry

    Jen.. I read this before..

So..How is taht going to work..The AG and the DFBI and DCI..and Law Enforcement would have to be so corrupt and Controlled..it would make th 1920s and 1930′s look like a Warm..

I just don’t think that particular scenario can happen..

  • Ray

Of course it’s more than just one reason. All of this can be verified. Pelosi is very jealous of Hillary. Pelosi is also very afraid of Bush and has not pushed through one single solitary bill. Her accomplishments are a big fat zero. The post above refering to the class action suits pertaining to the mortgages is true too, as a motivating factor to blocking Hillary..The criminals in the loan business fear that Hillary will back the class action lawsuit agianst lenders. Therefore, they are choosing to back BO monetarily thinking they will not be held accountable if BO gets in. BO camp just wants to hear the whining from Hillary supporters and will attack when anyone speaks the truth. They will try and make it look like you spell wrong or don’t know how to write. Pay no attention. As long as the truth gets out is all that matters. There’s more.
Today Hillary came out and announced that she will offer some type of immunity to the lenders. She had no choice I guess.
BO supporters are not funding his campaign like he likes others to think. College kids, hippies, druggies and lost angry men just don’t have the money that BO collects in donations. The enlightened are not part of his campaign.

    • Michael Lafferty

Pelosi is also very afraid of Bush and has not pushed through one single solitary bill.

You need to take off the tin foil hat and settle down. You are yanking the rug out from under your claims when you make such a patently false statement. Why should anyone read further to determine what you have to say when you say something as idiotic as that?

      • Mike Howell

        Michael Lafferty –

Which bills has Pelosi pushed through – quick name them all…

        • barbh

Yes, give us some examples of her bravely standing up to the right wing, didn’t she take impeachment off the table the first month she was speaker, or maybe it was the first week or was it the first day, hour or minute?

      • Fleaflicker

How about you enlighten us rubes and explain exactly how many of the bills that Pelosi has pushed through have been signed into law.

        • Michael Lafferty

          Rube (noun)
a person who is not very intelligent or interested in culture

Your term, and not mine. Pretty clearly not quite on the mark, as it alludes to a lack of intelligence on the part of one from a rural area. I would not presume that of anyone here.

It would be fair to conclude, based upon the writing offered by some, that there is a lack of sophistication and sensitivity, and a fundamental lack of understanding of the political process, of history and of contemporary news.

You might note that as the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Speaker Pelosi is properly credited with the passage of all legislation during the sessions over which she presides. And, with the failure to pass legislation, I might add. After all, her colleagues put her ‘in charge.’ How much is signed into law by President Bush is essentially immaterial.

          • rwc

Can’t name anything than “off the table” Pelosi passed eh?

            You’re funny

          • Mary

            Just as I thought.

            You can’t NAME any bills.

            Go figure.

      • http://winthemarket.com Daryl24

Pelosi is very jealous of Hillary.

I have to admit I don’t see that one. Is there a history between the two of them?

One bill she got passed recently was the FISA bill without telecom immunity. It wasn’t perfect and it will get vetoed but it was a good step in the right direction.

Nancy’s problem more than anything imo is that collective monkey wrench masquerading as the US Senate.

  • Ray

Chelsea says Hillary is more fiscally conservative than Bill.

“BO will hire all his black cronies.

You maybe correct about the cronies but the color of the skin is not relevant. Is it?”

YES IT IS. HE HAS HIS WHITE CRONIES AND BLACK CRONIES.

    • Michael Lafferty

And, so you chose initially to point to only his “…black cronies?”

Dude: you have just jumped the shark. I would ask you to further explain your response to TeakWoodKite, but I am reasonably sure now that it would likely be something reasonably termed irrational and indefensible.

It’s your hand, though – come on, let’s have you play the ‘race card.’

How about Frauds, White Haters, Jew Haters, Woman Haters, Gay Bashers, Cons, and Creeps?

        • Fleaflicker

If he appointed JJJ (Jesse Jackson Jr.) he would be appointing a black crony. Because JJJ is ALL about race. In fact he is one of the WORST race baiters there are. If not the grand Wizard himself.

    • Andy

Ray, whether they are black or white or brown or what ever is irrelevant. Obama’s cronies are not trustworthy regardless.
You ave some very good points but by pointing to the color of their skin you undermine the actual good points you are trying to make. Yes?
      Thank you.

    • Andy

Ray, come on now : whether they are black or white or brown or whatever is irrelevant and it should be.
Obama’s cronies are not trustworthy regardless.
You have some very good points but by pointing to the color of their skin you undermine the actual good points you are trying to make. It is wrong. Please.

A war is not needed for Bush to create a police state.
It can be an economic crash that can cause Bush to declare a police state.

    • Michael Lafferty

      Hey: if you’re listening…

One does not ‘declare a police state.’ One declares martial law, or military rule. You might want to consult a history, political science or sociology textbook…

Or, simply shut up. You are looking more foolish by the moment.

      • TeakwoodKite

Since we already live under the police state of GW’s liking… declaring martial law will be like watching the grass grow…before you know, it won’t matter what is declared. We will be rendered mute..oops Moot.

    • Michael Lafferty

If you do not have concrete reasons to back up disclaiming my statements then get a clue.

Oh, boy. You’ve got the process backward. It is not my responsibility to challenge your bogus claims: it is YOUR responsibility to support the claims you have made.

What part of BO not going to hire the white cronies that think they will get hired is playing the race card? You are lost. You are the one playing the race card.

  • Michael Lafferty

No, I am not lost. You appear to be confused, and flailing wildly here.

Your tossing out the term ‘black cronies’ then suggesting that he has both ‘white and black cronies’ while neither defending, withdrawing or expanding upon your original statement suggests that you are dangerously close to tossing in a racial identifier as a wedge.

That’s not playing the race card? Or stepping right up to the edge of it? And, once again, it is Senator Obama [not BO], just as it is Senator Clinton, Senator Kerry, Speaker Pelosi, Governor Richardson and so on.

    • http://OUTRAGEDBUTNOTSURPRISED bama_barrron

damn michael you are in a mood aren’t you! would it be ok to refer to obama as Senator BO … would that be acceptable or will you continue to be a pendatic nerd?

BO cozied up to every anti-reform candidate he could find in Illinois. He undermined all sorts of decent people on his to the top of the Daley machine.

BO and his angry ass wife jeered on white hating, Jew hating, and Gay bashing.

They contributed thousands and thousands of dollars to the selling and spreading of their hatred of America.

If you support them, then you are as ignorant as your comments.

    • Mike Howell

Fill in the blank yourselves about how he got to the top of the corrupt Daley machine.

All I can think of are curse words.

  • TeakWoodKite

Geez…All I did was ask what the color of someones skin had to do with Obama’s choice of cronies. I thought he would chose his cronies based on the content of their character.

    • rwc

Blobama is very progressive in selecting cronies. He has a veritable melting pot of cronies that cross many ethnic lines.

      Here Blobama can stand tall.

      • TeakwoodKite

        Exactly. CHA-CHING$

  • buckskin711

its all about judgement with obama. he simply doesnt have the judgement to be commander in chief period. he sat in that racist church for 20 years listening to propaganda about white america and didnt use “judgement” to get up and walk out, period. now, as far as the super-delegates, same thing “judgement”. obama will not win in the general election for lots of reasons besides judgement. the supers are afraid to go against obama because of their african american base. thats good judgement ? i think not. its always about electability in the fall. hillary would have a chance, obama has zero. can the supers do that simple math ?

  • Darry Touchet

This was all planned from the beginning. Those of us on the Blog sphere have seen the evidence all along. How many knew about this church and his pastor, and watched in horror as the news ignored it for sooo long. Just like they are continuing to ignore the Rezko trial. Once it became Obvious that Obama was ahead in pledge delegate, and that he was getting comparable support from the superdelegates, only then did the news start to report these issues. Not fox mind you, they always have reported, but lately the other news outlets have started to pick up. They give a trickle hear a trickle there, eventually it will lead to a flood.

Make no mistake, this is on purpose. Since the beginning of the race, they have known. Hackers have recorded their IP hits from the beginning. Once again corporate america is playing us for the fool.

Come november, should Obama get the nomination, I will make this prediction. Not only will you see this, but you will see him being called to witness in the Rezko trial. Only then, it will be too late. The news knows this, the republican judge and prosecution, know this. THAT will be the killing blow to his election. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see this. It just takes a couple of searches on the internet.

    • simon

Hackers have recorded their IP hits from the beginning

Well, you know, “they” don’t really care, there are simply no more secrets on the Internet.

I see this bandied as a threat, as if hackers have some special ability others don’t.

      They don’t.

A run of the mill hacker sees what others want him to see.

      Really, now, think.

  • Darry Touchet

As far as actions and young people, We must as adults (I apologise in advance if young people are on here, no insult to you) combat the news by blogging on the internet. Take the time to learn to use search engines. Go on site such as digg.com or yahoo answers in the political section. Both Obama and McCain supporters are on their feeding lies and slander to young people. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS.

Lately there has and still is, alot of people talking about the wright issue on there, but still, the more that young people hear about it, the more we can pursuade them. They definately won’t get it from the news….The best thing you can do is too use the avenues that young people look at and correct them at the source. These are where the young people are getting their info from.

    • http://DeeLee deelee

I like the idea of trying to reach out to younger people before they buy into the Obama bullsh*t. What’s the best way to do it? I know he targets universities. Perhaps you can start a movement to get the message out on university websites etc. I’ve got a whole littany of lies that he keeps spouting, that can be posted. Maybe it can be done one state at a time.

      • simon

Tips I can give you for using sources.

    1. Don’t use fox to support arguements against Obama. Obama supporters hate fox and look at it as not credible. They will believe a far right news source on the internet, or a pro-hillary news blog, rather than fox.

    2. They love youtube. Use Youtube to your advantage. You can search the videos for proof. If you can put a video up, this speaks volumes. They don’t like to read much.

    3. Be emotional in your appeal, don’t site facts in a boring way. One example can be “Obama sat back and let his minorities constiuents freeze to death while he took campaign contributions from Rezko who owned the property.

    4. You have to start showing what the Clintons have done for minorities. The clinton foundation is driving millions of dollars a year into Africa for HIV/AIDS. Use Bill Clintons long resume of civil rights actions while he was in office. Point out the money he gave to minorities while he was in office.

I promise I won’t post again, but I can not tell you how helpfull this will be in getting to young people. They use the internet to find their information. That is the one thing Hillary has overlooked in her campaign drive. She must have vast internet resources to get to young people. You, as supporter, can help her the most here, when it comes to young people.

I tried to leave a voicemail message for Chris Matthew on his Hardball phone line, but both the direct message line and alternate box lines say, mailbox full.

I don’t know if any of you heard this morning that Matthew apparently said today, “4,000 dead in Iraq due to politicians like the Clintons’”

This is the guy who keeps pointing out the size of Bush’s “package” on the U.S.S. Lincoln and tells his viewing audience that “chicks dig this war” and “we like a leader with a bit of swagger.” This is also the same guy who talks about the attactive qualities of Fred Thompson (smelling of cigar smoke and Aqua Velva). This guy pimped the war from the beginning and now says he was against it! I am so mad I cannot even think straight right now!!

Let me just tell you all alittle something about Mr. Matthews. The man is a diabetic and an alcoholic. I have seen him at The Palm restaurant in D.C. “tying one on”. If you ever wondered why he goes on his little hiatus’s for 1-2 weeks at a time, it isn’t for vacation. It’s to get dried out!!

All I could wish for was someone like Colin P. in place of Obama. His associations with radicals like the Panthers?

Does this country need this right now?

The boy that lives next door to me is over there on a 3rd round right now.

I resent Obama’s selfish, untutored agenda at this time in our histroy. It’s frightening to think of him trying to walk into this position of leadership after watching the above.

And this is the guy with a leg problem?

I heard the bozo say something about guilt by association recently in regards to Obama and Wright.

    The dud is creepy…

After listening to his flowery speech last week I had the feeling that racism was all my fault (I’m white), as I’m sure a lot of other did, until I found this blog.

I’m not sure of the author but this is worth a read!

The “white community,” said Barack, must start “acknowledging that what ails the African-American community does not just exist in the minds of black people; that the legacy of discrimination — and current incidents of discrimination, while less overt than in the past — are real and must be addressed. Not just with words, but with deeds … .”

And what deeds must we perform to heal ourselves and our country?

The “white community” must invest more money in black schools and communities, enforce civil rights laws, ensure fairness in the criminal justice system and provide this generation of blacks with “ladders of opportunity” that were “unavailable” to Barack’s and the Rev. Wright’s generations.

What is wrong with Barack’s prognosis and Barack’s cure?

Only this. It is the same old con, the same old shakedown that black hustlers have been running since the Kerner Commission blamed the riots in Harlem, Watts, Newark, Detroit and a hundred other cities on, as Nixon put it, “everybody but the rioters themselves.”

Was “white racism” really responsible for those black men looting auto dealerships and liquor stories, and burning down their own communities, as Otto Kerner said — that liberal icon until the feds put him away for bribery.

Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America.

Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.

This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:

First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.

Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.

Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions of dollars have been spent since the ’60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.

Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks — with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas — to advance black applicants over white applicants.

Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.

We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude?

Barack talks about new “ladders of opportunity” for blacks.

Let him go to Altoona and Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for “deserving” white kids.

Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is it really white America’s fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?

As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?

Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?

We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena. And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.

Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago

Many wealthy people use this argument to keep the poor angry at each other, as opposed to fighting their real enemy, the rich who exploit them.

Your comment was a text book example of this technique. Where’d you go to school? Not update recently?

This isn’t about poor white v poor black.

This is about shit stupid wealthy people and their shit stupid minions using tired old methods of propaganda to divide and conquer, meanwhile keeping out fresh blood, and new talent.

It gets us the republicans who can’t win a war, (very serious, and very real) and democrats like Obama.

IMO, your essay was racist sophistry.

No thanks, and try something new, something fresh.

You have got to be freakin’ kidding me.

What, I suppose you believe that Jews should thank the nazis for the holocaust which provided the impetus for the creation of the state of israel????

The bigoted, biased logic behind your statement frankly boggles the mind.

Oh, by the way – are you also saying Jena was a hoax??? ROFLMAO
