South Park: The AIG Bailout Told Violently

South Park silences the brains of the most ponderous characters in the United States Treasury. September 15 and 16 2008 come to this. The Republic was as headless as a chicken. Is it better today? AIG is the answer.

          My son showed this to me the other day, and I tried to explain it all to him. Out of the mouths of babes….he said it seems like these guys in the government might not know what they are doing. Yes, my son, bingo!

    Well, the AIG situation isn’t upsetting Obummer too much. He named a director of AIG to the tax task force.

    One of the people named this week to President Obama’s new Task Force on Tax Reform is a member of the AIG board of directors.

    Martin Feldstein, a professor of economics at Harvard University, has been on the board of American International Group since 1988. He also was a prominent economic adviser to Presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.

    I doubt that “signs of progress” are scoring with the 9.1% of Tennesseeans who are unemployed…with a neighboring county at 14.1% already.
    This state’s portion of the stimulus money goes first to food stamps, second to Medicaid, and thirdly to build 10 bridges…and of course, to preserve 2500 state jobs.

      The only new jobs in my area were created by the TVA fly-ash spill, which is a rather double-edged sword.

    Was there a slam against Odrama at the end of the episode? My 17 year old son taped it for me because he said that there was something at the end I would find funny about Barrakula. I started watching the other day and decided to wait for my bf to watch, too. BTW, did anyone watch ‘Lil Bush? My coworkers and I are hoping for a ‘Lil Obama and he has given more than enough material already. C’mon, fair is fair!

      Here is the entire episode, and yes they do take a swipe at the Fraud at the end. There’s a lot of Messiah/Christ allegory in there too.

        I did watch it. Funny. My favorite episode is still the “About Last Night” episode the day after the election. I was devastated that Mccain lost, but was able to laugh at it. Sad that you get to see many truths on Comedy Central!

        CNN came in 3rd place in ratings.

          CNN and MSNBC are in the crapper and waaaayyyyyyy behind Fox News. Guess when you tell the truth people watch. I just wish more people wouldn’t have ranted about the tin foil hat conspiracies of Hannity, et al because now we pay for it.

          BTW, did you see “the Coon” episode of South Park. ROFLMAO at that one too.

            Yes, I saw that one, too. Slamming Obama with the crossed out hope and instead, when? As with most narcissists, he will not like being the butt of jokes! I hope it continues in spades. He may just have a nervous breakdown yet!

            Yes, FOX is #1 and has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined! Good job FOX news!

      I’m not certain if Obots will pick up the irony & will just accept Obama’s deification as gospel truth & thus won’t be offended.

    My son and my son-in-law both had to file for unemployment this week. I am disabled and wish with all my heart that I could help them, not a penny in the bank.
    What part of the spending bill was going to bring jobs here? There are no jobs here. Was ACORN supposed to be hiring in Utah? Should we just sit by and wait until Obama decides to dig for oil in our national parks? Not only can we destroy our pristine lands, we will have a paying job to do it!
    What the f**k are we, the average Americans, supposed to do? How long must WE wait for relief? Can we get some of that BAILOUT money? What part of those billions was met to help us?
    I am afraid we will be in bread lines before Obama notices what is actually happening to our country at this hands!

      Obama isn’t going to “notice” what is happening to our country. Because he is intentionally creating this mess. His owners want the collapse of the dollar as currency, and this New World Order nonsense. He’s not coming to any American’s rescue any time soon, and it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better. IF it ever gets better. But it’s not going to be America when he is done trashing us.

      I know. I’m scared, too. My finances are getting tighter and I have for the past few years had extra money each month. My mother, who turns 80 in July only get’s social security and an annuity check for $144 per month. Her rent is now only $50 less than her social security. Do the math, groceries, utilities (small, but still), car expenses, medications, she is always short and we take out of savings. She is down to about $2500 for that. She is asking what can she do? I have no answers for her. A few years ago, I could have been able to help out. Not anymore.

      We are screwed and there is no help from Obama. Not now, not ever in his term. We sill suffer until 2012 and people reelect that fraud (another word comes to mind, but would probably get filtered), well, I don’t even want to think how mad us PUMAs will be and hate to think about what would happen.

    Not to be too cynical, but the decision process seems to be much more binary. If a company’s CEO has donated $$ to politicians’ reelection campaigns, said company gets bailout $$. If not, those CEOs can pound sand.
