My mother, who turns 80 in July only get's social security and an annuity check for $144 per month. Her rent is now only $50 less than her social security. Do the math, groceries, utilities (small, but still), car expenses, medications, she is always short and we take out of savings. She is down to about $2500 for that. She is asking what can she do?
