Batchelor & Constable: Why Gordon Brown Can’t Get Respect

Batchelor & Constable Simon Constable and I speak with puzzlement of the apparent fact that the all-powerful Prime Minister Gordon Brown of the UK does not enjoy respect in Europe or in his home country.

The poor English pound is a victim. We also note that the young Daniel Hannan has gained worldwide celebrity from his brief, self-posted video challenging Gordon Brown’s policies and performance.

Editor’s Postscript: Be sure to catch Larry Johnson on John Batchelor’s radio show Sunday nights just after 7 p.m. PT, on Los Angeles’s KFI-AM. Here’s our most recent Sunday reminder with all the links and details. Stop by NoQuarterUSA.net on Sunday to read the topics and linked stories for Sunday night’s programming.

It’s one thing for the UK to have issues with their PM. It’s an entirely different matter when the U.S. President treats the PM no different from his daily servants. The gift of 25 unworkable CDs is appalling. Maybe Brown is a lame duck but he’s not George W. Bush. The guy deserves more respect than what our nation’s president gave to him and his family.

Didn’t O’Fraudo also piss on Brown by RETURNING Brown’s gift of a bust of Winston Churchill? What an embarrassment to America O’Fraudo is.

Very good video. I think the people of the UK thought they were getting the anti-Tony Blair. It seems they got Tony Blair on steroids. They have my sympathies.

Whether it’s Prime Ministers or Presidents, we, like the Brits, seem to go from bad to worse!

it would be delightful to experiment with the parliamentary system of government here in the US.

John Batchelor always make me smile, even when he’s trying to be hard or is excited. He reminds me of Mister Rogers. His personality. One thing is for sure the next few years are going to get interesting.

I don’t think Obama can pull it off and I think all the evidence that never came to light during the primaries will be used against him in an impeachment hearing, if things don’t begin to turn around. I could be wrong, I’ve been that more than once.

I just don’t think he can continue down this road of pointing to Bush about every single thing that is wrong, when the Democrats have had the majority for two years. What that eventually is going to start saying to people is…maybe Bush did a good thing by keeping these people from all this spending. Bush made a lot of mistakes, he isn’t responsible for every single thing that is wrong in our government. Many of these problems were just being bandaged over and over. They started long before President Bush ever came to Washington. Or President Clinton for that matter.

Diana, you are right I think. I actually think it will be Obama’s own who eventually turn on him, once they realize his buffoonery has taken away any shot that they will get back in the White House from 2012 for decades. By the time he’s done trashing America, the cries for impeachment will fly. And, please, don’t everyone pile on about impeaching Bush and why I’m not calling for that. IMO Obama is 10,000 times worse than Bush, and at least Bush was born in America.

and he kept us safe for 8 years.

        • I’mFedUp

And pretty soon, bu August or September, a whole helluva lot of people will be looking at those 8 years of being “safe” a lot differently and wish they had them back. I hope I have the ability to move out of here by then.

Gordon Brown is the worst politician in the world today. He’s a sleazy rat who is in the pocket of George Soros and wants to take over the world finance for his own nefarious purposes.
