That Knock at the Door…

webrrstrong_arm_copy_edited

No one likes to be strong-armed. And when it was clear that Hillary Clinton would not be our next President, some relief was forthcoming in assuming that the tyranny perpetrated by Obama-supporting thugs would now unravel like a cheap sweater. They would disperse back into whatever their lives were before.

Not so fast.

In a story at politicalticker “after several e-mail pleas and a nationwide door-knocking campaign, President Obama’s political arm will start airing a television commercial…urging voters to pressure Congress to approve his budget.”

Uh, hasn’t Obama already been elected? Don’t Democrats control both houses of Congress? Why the pressure?

And, President Obama’s political arm? Yes indeedy, brought to us by the same folks who ran his campaign, Organizing for America has been launched. First, you sign the pledge that you will support President Obama. Period. Then you can start making calls from home or a phone bank, organize canvasses and go door-to-door, host house meetings, attend Organizing for America training sessions, and so on. Obama Camps are sprouting up everywhere. I just got an e-invitation to attend a full day of “orientation” in a nearby city.

They’re back…..

Personally, I sense a bit of paranoia setting in. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I do follow history. And what appears to be emerging makes me uncomfortable.

Alas, we may have a silver bullet. When that strong-arm knock on the door comes, listen for a minute and then start asking questions. Ask for complete details. How will each plan work, who will pay for it, who are the main stakeholders, how will the average American benefit compared to the already wealthy, and exactly when? Clear facts, no fluff! I bet there will be some stammering going on.

What questions would you ask?

  • Eastan McNeal

Someone had a link here earlier to a video (change something) where a man on the street interviewed British youth. They were all about 0 until he asked: “Did you know 0bama, in his first week of office, bombed Pakistan?” There was a drastic turnaround in response.

I don’t think most of these 0bama kids are following the details of the economy. “0bama is sending more of your classmates to die in the Afghan mountains. 0bama will flex his new-found military muscle and you may be forced to put on a uniform and carry a gun to battle.” That is what my 18 and 20 year old kids are telling their friends, and it is working on them.

BTW. My oldest is a bot. The two youngest are registered independents who had an open mind during the election, but now are not afraid to call zero a fraud in public, because they are hearing echos from some of their friends.

  • oowawa

President Obama’s political arm will start airing a television commercial…urging voters to pressure Congress to approve his budget

What questions would I ask? Only the same ones any befuddled and clueless American would ask:

Is this TV commercial going to cost money? Who is going to pay for this commercial? I’m kind of fresh out of money right now, am I going to have to pay for this?

Obama Camps: should I bring a picnic lunch? Are they going to have ping-pong? Swimming? Can I live at the Obama Camp after my home is foreclosed?

  • pm317

Tricia, you’re so right. There was a lot of stammering going on during the primary — a more mature(!) woman (they knew my demographics) called me to ask to support 0bama and I asked her question after question about his stand on this and that and she stammered and gave up.

The moral of the story (like you rightly say) is question everything that is 0bama-centric.

We will volunteer for things WE believe in not what 0bama tells us to believe in.

Where did that much lauded American individualism go?

  • Eastan McNeal

I forgot. Question to ask: Are you ready and willing to go fight in one of 0bama’s many war fronts? Have you volunteered yet to take up arms in far away places for the 0bama global plan?

  • Ani

    Great piece, Pat.

The strongarm tactics did not work on me during the election nor will they work now. I support what makes sense. If something makes sense and will benefit the American people, you have my full support — if not, forget it.

Indoctrination, slogans and logos are not romantic nor do they carry any qeight whatsoever. Furthermore, when people start feeling it in their pocketbooks or a backdoor draft for that matter, the logo will lose its lustre and we’ll have lots more tea parties, I suspect.

  • I’mFedUp

Sorry, all I would ask is “when are you going to get your illegitimate, lying, cheating, con man azz out of my White House, you usurper?”

  • Ani

    Great piece, Pat.

  • Ani

I should say the strongarm tactics do not work with ME.

Obviously, they did work with some people.

  • betty

Maybe they are placing the add is because all Obama has is money. Didn’t they call their “army” out to knock on doors a few weeks ago and no one noticed? No one knocked on my door and I was waiting, let me tell ya.

  • getfitnow

Whatever “push” there was suppose to be last weekend, I think–it didn’t happen. I’m sure there’s a massive email list, but as time goes by, at least in the east bay area, people don’t seem interested in following his lead.

  • SJ

NO you have it wrong when Obama sends troops to Afghan they will not die, they will not be shot at or blown to bits.

Obama is the one, the messiah, this is not like going to war, this is a overseas contingent, war is what the bad man Bush did. Obama is a savior our troops will go there and preach the word, plant new poppy seeds to bloom.

Just wait and see it will be ok, it’s all good the one is in charge.

  • oowawa

Hmmm . . . this door-to-door O campaigning will provide a new intro for Jehovah’s Witnesses. They will be able to begin by commending the wonderfulness of O’s economic plan before they break out The Watchtower and The Awake . . . Both O and the Witnesses share a common goal: a wonderful New World!

  • sandi78

I’m almost starting to think fondly of Karl Rove!

  • FLDemFem

I read an article that was talking about the petition that they wanted people to sign for supporting Obummer’s budget. The “army” consisted of 10,000 people who were to get 100,000 signatures. So each one of the pests only had to get ten signatures. I would bet money that every Obot knows ten other Obots and that’s how they got the signatures. And how is 100,000 signatures at all an indication of the nation’s will when the Congressional offices are being flooded with several times that number protesting the budget and other policies? The math just doesn’t add up. Which seems to be par for the course with the Obummer administration.

  • cassie

I was anxiously anticipating the first Bot Knock! Had my questions all lined up and ready … but alas …

wait until they find out that they are going to have to volunteer whether they want to or NOT! G_d forbid they have obligations and responsibilities that might superceed “volunteering.”

Got to make it a “rule,” ’cause they staged a parade and nobody showed! All those little potentinal oak trees! Just fertalize the little acorns with manure, water them as necessary and they grow up and become great big trees!

I guess he figures most of his supporters are just home all day playing on the ‘puter with nothing to do – the “Boomerang” generation and mommy and daddy are still supporting ‘em despite the BS after their names!

I would love to know why there is never ever a picture of him actually WORKING … at least in his OFFICE! After all those campaign perfomances with his sleeves rolled up ready on Day … what day is it now? Almost 5 months since he was declared a “winner?”

  • oowawa

Almost 5 months since he was declared a “winner”

Another 5 months, maybe, before he is declared a “wiener.”

  • jangles

    My questions:
When will ordinary people who have been economically maimed by the Wall Street bankers be invited to the WH for lunch with the president?

If we are continuing operations in Afghanistan and expanding them to the Pakistan borders, how can we afford to reduce military spending by 10% and ensure our troops that they will have the equipment they need and they will not be rotated overseas time after time after time?

What are the president’s plans for repairing military preparedness that was so drastically eroded in the Iraqi conflict? For meeting the needs of our broken soldiers and their families from those Iraqi adventures?

When are major components of the ARRA actually going to get to people? e.g. school districts in CA has issued massive layoff notices. They still do not have any real information about what actual dollars they will get from the economic stabilization funds that were put in there to avoid these layoffs.

  • HARP

The last thing they will hear is me reloading.

  • clairtx

If Obama’s “Organize for America” is anything like he is, I will expect to see a teleprompter along with them. Talk about stammering – he can’t get in front of a camera without stammering unless he’s got a teleprompter.

I will treat them like I do anyone else I don’t want to talk to – simply tell them they are trespassing and ask where their permit is to solicit.

They should ask this AA Obama voter the question. Seems he is no longer happy about his vote. Warning about the language, but it’s a must see.

  • Rich

I find the cartoon frightening in its simplicity. How often in history have we seen that when blind faith to a human person is required that the end result is tragedy. No man is a god and that means that no person can always be right, not even Obama. To ask people to support someone blindly is to ask people to stop thinking. That is how we got into all of these troubles in the first place. Trust Bush and the Government that they know things we don’t and the war in Iraq was necessary and good for this country. Trust the banks that when they approve a loan that means it is good for you. Trust X and he will get you a 20% return on your money, because he/she is that smart. Trust Hitler for he will save Germany, and he would not go after the Jewish people, for they have done so much for Germany. Drink the cool aid and you will go to heaven, for I have come to save you.

Be a good Democrat and think, which is that it what it means to be a good Democrat. Please not become a good Obama brown shirt solder, knocking on doors and putting down all those who do not worship at the Obama alter. What happened to the Obama promise of listening to different points of view? Was that just a sales pitch, like tell me what you think so that I can tell you how wrong you are and sell you my religion or product?

I do not want anyone knocking on my door unless they are a friend or in an emergency the police. So this is my official notice to take my name off of you list and put me on the do not Knock List.

Me, too, until I remember that he was probably helping Donna Brazile get the fraud elected!

Thank you, Father, for the comforting words. (I am assuming SJ stands for Society of Jesus.) I try to preserve my faith, but sometimes I am sorely tempted by doubt and despair. When I picture the peaceful blooming poppy plants in Afghanistan, I am reassured.

  • politicalidentitycrisis

I’ll just make up a fact sheet on Obama and start handing them out with web links. The bots love their internet!

  • Hg

Why do you want a racist to pressure congress?

  • Blue Orchid

Obama’s unrealistic quest for bipartisanship may very well cause his stimulus plan to fail, as it contains too much ineffective tax cuts at the expense of government spendings in order to appease the radically partisan Republicans, who apparently don’t give a damn about the good of the nation.

  • Teresaa

Personally, when they knock at the door, I’ll say, “stay here for a second.” Then I’ll quietly leave the house out the back door for my 5 mile morning walk.

  • oowawa

    s

imply tell them they are trespassing and ask where their permit is to solicit.

I’m afraid that the response could be:

“Permits!?!? We don’t got to show you no stinking permits!!!”

And then they make a notation on their clipboards.

  • JohnnyB

Nice cartoon, Pat. Yes, it is “follow the leader”.

Since the beginning of Ob’s campaign, their goal was to identify all those who support him, and to get them to do something to further the cause (get him elected). Now it is sign up everyone, get them to pledge their support, then turn them loose on their elected officials in Congress (both House and Senate). If you don’t sign up, you are ‘not in the boat’.

All of us Hillary supporters were offered a place in the boat, but those in the boat despised us for not supporting their ‘captain’. I didn’t get into the boat then, and I’m not in the boat now. As time goes by, if you don’t get in the boat, there will never be a place for you.

When going to the Pres. website, to leave a comment, you have to sign in. They want your email address.
I think we should call them the “E-greenshirts”.

  • http://noquarterusa.net/ SusanUnPC

Your kids are going through an adolescent phase while their brains continue to mature — doesn’t it take until the early 20s for the brain to be fully developed?

That said, most Obots are about other people making sacrifices.

I seriously doubt any Obot would enlist, let alone be willing to fight or face a bullet. Most of them are fashionably anti-war — which entails blaming Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld and wishing Bush’s twins would enlist — and they will rationalize away or avoid reading the news that Obama has bombed Pakistan and has drones to beat the band (that’s almost a pun).

Their pre-maturation dementia requires a disengagement from reality, and a wholly self-interested pathology — which most adolescents are already plagued by, but is exaggerated when they slip the closed ring of their own self-centeredness onto the closed ring of a wholly narcissistic candidate and then elected president (and one whose emotional growth was stunted by his “lost years” of drugging, drinking and who knows what else, from high school through Columbia University).

Such a self-centered pathology disallows them from true war, from enlistment in the military (with behavioral and performance standards as alien to them as Mars), from any real situation in which their own precious blood might be spilled.

Besides, they know that that is what the lower classes are born for.

(P.S. One thing that’d wake them up: If Obama ever were forced to institute a military draft. That would sever their self-centered attachment to him because they themselves must never be placed in danger, unless it’s a cadre of cops at an anti-war demonstration where the prospect of violence is so small that they can get a thrill from the remote potential of danger whilst feeling big and brave (just like they’d feel on a big rollercoaster ride.)

  • oowawa

    Hahaha Teresa.

And if this were an episode of The Twilight Zone (and sometimes it seems like it is), when you come back from your five mile morning walk, you find a new family living in your home and discover that nobody will acknowledge that you ever existed.

Such are the nightmares that times like these engender.

  • sandi78

    Ahh, good point!

  • Diana L. C.

I know what I will ask: “Before I sign, will you iron my shirt because I need to get back in the tub where I belong?”

  • Don X

Another provocative cartoon, Pat, raising legitimate concerns.

In my own case, I don’t answer the doorbell. They would have to catch me working in the yard, in which case I am “the gardener”. The owner is away. I play the artful dodger. I also let my answer machine screen my calls and only pick up the phone if I recognize a voice or the caller announces their name. Most often solicitors don’t leave a message.

Since Obama comes from a background of Saul Alinsky-syle organizing, it is not surprising that he would continue to try community organizing tactics to mobilize the public to sign pledges and blindly support his causes. There will always be the naive stupidos who will fall for his ruses. However, I think enough people still remember what happened when people in Germany fell in lock step with der furher and ushered in a period of tyranny unlike anything seen in history. Perhaps the young who don’t read or believe their history books can fall in line, but surely the intelligent adult who understands the fallacy of blind obedience will not be fooled. Organizing the American public is a bit more complicated than organizing poor people in South Chicago. For some insights into how Obama beame the person he is today, you might check out the following link.

  • candymarl

But the Republicans are in a minority in both the House and the Senate. Obama doesn’t need their votes to pass any bill.

Bipartisanship isn’t the problem here. Inexperience and the refusal of Obama to sit still and do his job is the problem.

  • Mary Miller

I met another couple walking down the street yesterday…they said what I believe. Obama is a fraud. Always was and continues to be.
They have 4 grown children who were strong supporters of BO for what they (this couple), at the time, felt was without good reason. The children now realize-and it took 60 days- that we are all in trouble if we allow this man to continue his agenda.
I laughed…hey-what’s another endless war? What’s another tent city? Hey-the Obamas have their mansion in Chicago and DC, right? We dont need our homes, jobs or educations?!?! If we got to keep those we might focus on the questions and answers that would enlighten us and remove him from office..he will always keep the conversation elsewhere. That is his specialty. He was laughing at all of us on 60 minutes..while he bombs Afghanistan and kills our sons..yeah Obama! Keep it up and we can put you in the Jimmy Carter special government room..ineffective coward..sneaky smoker, lies to children, adults all the while singing praises of the lord in Reverend Wrights mansion..whoops..church…

  • candymarl

They can knock on my door any time. I’ll go along with the pledge. Trust me. Really.

  • Mandelay

Winner. Wiener. What a difference one letter makes.
It would be even better if, in another few months, he’s declared a “non-citizen.” The illusion of Obama is so great, it will take something really big to break the spell. I’m still waiting for most of my friends to wake up but so far, they remain under the spell of this idiot. I keep reading that while his programs are being questioned, he himself remains extremely popular. How can millions of citizens feel that way? Why should his personal popularity matter at all? And upon what what is that feeling (personal popularity) based? We don’t know the man. We have no access to any meaningful documents from his life. And now he’s constantly on the t.v., turning the office of the POTUS into an infinite infomercial, constantly using some very sophisticated marketing techniques to strengthen his positioning and create even more illusions. E.g. the move from the visible tele-prompter which caused him to wag his head from left to right to the back of the room screen from which he read at his last press conference. And the public is enjoying the illusion, feeling as if they are part of “something.” We even hear people referring to the most recent “presser” as if they were part of some media network. It’s stupid. America needs to wake up from the ground up. Obama’s version of the “Republican Guard” is another marketing technique. Door to door they go, working each neighborhood, infesting the area like vermin.

  • Linda Mac

Excellent cartoon. I have often thought that Obots have the same mentality as those who worshipped Bush. It is so crazy to kneel at the feet and worship a candidate or POTUS while turning against those who are simply asking what has he DONE that demonstrates he has a plan for this country or the ability to lead it. The Democratic primary was disgusting and Obama is turning out exactly like I feared he would. The thing that worries me is that those who were to enthralled with BO during the election are too afraid to admit they were wrong about him or to look at what he is doing and saying now that he is in office. And none of them can admit that his inability to speak without a teleprompter says anything about his ability to walk and chew gum at the same time.

  • barry bums a ciggie

I sent an email to my friend asking her to explain to me how her BO could say two weeks ago that the US could not win the war in Afghanistan (per NYT) but still sends 21,000 troops there. Hmmm, wonder if she will answer me. And here she thought 0 was going to bring world peace through his smile.

  • Don X

Obama rejected some of the priniples of community organizing promoted by Alinsky, in particular the notion that the organizer should downplay his leadership role and not be a charismatic leader. He began to focus more on what could be accomplished politically by becoming a charismatic leader and in fact, has become a showman enjoying the limelight and appearing on talk shows and appearances at every opportunity. Nevertheless, despite his criticism of community organizing, Alinsky style, he seems to be utilizing a revised model, emphasizing convincing the ordinary individual that their self interests can best be realized by moving forward together as a group. So it is no wonder that he and his followers are doing the door to door campaign you describe in your cartoon and presentation. Obama seeks to be the community organizer extraordinaire–Obama style.
Savior not of just America, but savior of the world.
Expect his tactics to expand into all segments of society and the world at large.

I hope some obot comes to my door. I want to ask why stimulus funds cannot be used to restore the bus routes that were closed down here in Encinitas, CA. Weren’t stimulus funds supposed to help people get and keep jobs? Our buses took people to work everyday and now the buses are gone. And many bus drivers lost their jobs also.

Also aren’t stimulus funds supposed to be supporting cleaning up the environment? Well if so many people now have to drive their cars to work because the buses are gone, how is that helping to clean up the environment? Please, obots, answer my questions.

Then if someone were to come to the door, I’d hand them the list, and say, this guy has no integrity. Why would I sign something saying I agree to what he says, when I know his history is all about lies – that would make me stupid (hint, hint).

  • Solara 7

LOL! You are a hoot, Baba Rum Raisin.

  • oowawa

Yes Mandelay, your use of the term “Republican Guard” is chilling. It’s not hard to move from the concept of a “Republican Guard” to the concept of a “Red Guard” such as we saw in the Cultural Revolution in China. The Hitlerjugend would fit somewhere in that spectrum.

We cannot under any circumstances permit any civilian group in this country to become any kind of “Republican Guard,” a civilian entity dedicated to protecting and advancing the agenda of the political powers in charge. If they actually start going door-to-door, well, that’s literally getting me where I live.

I was waiting for someone to come to my door last weekend, and sadly no Obot came. I had a few choice questions and COMMENTS I wanted to make-oh well. I can understand the 18-30 group getting played by Obama, as I was impressed by Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow Coalition back in the day, but what I don’t understand are the 40 and older group allowing themselves to get sucked in by this know nothing. They have had enough life experiences to recognize a phoney when they see one. Pretty sad, when the people shown on the networks doing Obama’s bidding last weekend looked at least 40 or older.

    My question is

WHY is BO using a “teleprompter as a linguistic push-up bra”.
    Ouch!
Ok, so here is the thing. A while back, I ordered an Obama Chia-Pet Bust. It took awhile to arrive but today was the day! The box it came in is adorned with the presidential seal, and it is labeled The “Yes You Can” collection. BO “determined” is one of two choices, as if BO is giving that “chin up” look. The other bust being label “happy” and near as I can tell, the bust of “happy” BO looks really stoned! I would love to see what he looks like with head of green hair, but I’m deathly afraid that if I open the box. BO might lose his value as a collectible. Tragic as that might be, there is something else to be worried about. On the box they say that “happy” and “determined are sold separately. That’s just wrong…plain wrong. But I digress.
That something else I worry about is all those jobs BO keeps talking about. Yeah those! Echoing in my head is something about “green” jobs?
What I am frankly terrified about is the BO Chia-Bust is made in China and says it must be “sold” by Feb 2010…all those green jobs…
Well, if this man child can’t control where the hell his own image is “created”, how the hell is he gonna make sh*t (read jobs) in his own image, in the USA?

    Powerful toon Pat.

Mr. Taylor is a lawyer who began his revolving door adventures as counsel to FDA. He then moved to King & Spalding, a private-sector law firm representing Monsanto, a leading agricultural biotechnology company. In 1991 he returned to the FDA as Deputy Commissioner for Policy, where he was part of the team that issued the agency’s decidedly industry-friendly policy on food biotechnology and that approved the use of Monsanto’s genetically engineered growth hormone in dairy cows.

His questionable role in these decisions led to an investigation by the federal General Accounting Office, which eventually exonerated him of all conflict-of-interest charges. In 1994, Mr. Taylor moved to USDA to become administrator of its Food Safety and Inspection Service… After another stint in private legal practice with King & Spalding, Mr. Taylor again joined Monsanto as Vice President for Public Policy in 1998.

The man has moved in and out of roles at the federal government and Monsanto so many times he probably has whiplash

    http://www.opednews.com/articles/Monsanto-Planting-Seed...

    So meet Michael Taylor

    __________________________

Meet Michael Taylor. Coming out of law school, he went to work for FDA, the Food & Drug Administration, for five years, gaining valuable expertise in food regulatory issues.

Then he slipped-out through that revolving door to a hot-shot Washington lobbying and lawyering outfit. There, Mr. Taylor specialized in — Big Surprise — food regulatory issues!

His client list included Monsanto — a chemical giant trying to get FDA, Taylor’s old agency, to approve a genetically-engineered growth hormone called BGH. This synthetic hormone would be injected into cows to force more milk out of them. Problem is, not every parent wants their kids drinking milk spiced with antibiotics and extra hormones. But Monsanto, with Taylor’s help, got FDA to go along. Now that their drug was approved, there was the testy matter of keeping consumers from knowing which carton contains Monsanto’s Mystery Milk, since most folks don’t want to buy it.

So when FDA recently wrote guidelines to regulate the labeling of this milk — guess who was in charge? Yes! Michael Taylor! He’d slipped through that revolving door back inside the FDA, just in time to write the guidelines.

Will it surprise you to learn that FDA’s Taylor-written labeling guidelines are tailor-made for Monsanto – and are designed to keep you in the dark about BGH?

    http://www.jimhightower.com/node/2140

Michael Taylor. First he worked for the FDA, then leaves to take a job with a lobbying firm whose client list includes Monsanto. While there, he helps get his old agency, the FDA, to legalize Bovine Growth Hormone. YAY! BGH!

Shortly thereafter the intrepid Mr. Taylor returns to the FDA, who is now considering milk labeling guidelines. Monsanto would like the FDA to pretty please not tell anyone which milk jugs contain BGH tainted milk, and of course, with Taylor now in charge of writing the labeling guidelines, they get their wish. HOORAY! FRANKENMILK!

Never one to settle in one place for long, Mikey leaves the FDA again in 1994, only to reappear at… you guessed it! Monsanto! He became their Vice-President in charge of lobbying. Lobbying. In Washington.

This is the guy we want in charge of food safety?

A LITTLE ABOUT gm MONSANTO FOOD ..YOU CAN GOOGLE THE EU RESPONSE TO THIS SHIT!!

    http://current.com/items/89859693/eu_environment_ministers_vote_to_uphold_ban_on_monsanto_gm_maize.htm

European Union governments delivered a blow Monday to the biotechnology industry, allowing Austria and Hungary to maintain national bans on growing genetically modified crops from Monsanto.

The vote, taken by European environment ministers, could irritate the U.S. government, which has in the past complained to the World Trade Organization about obstacles to planting bioengineered crops.

The vote also was a blow to the European Commission, the EU executive arm. The commission has sought in recent years to ease the restrictions in Europe on gene-altered crops, in part to keep down the cost of animal feed.

Member states were “firm” and the “commission should take a close reading of the result,” the French environment minister, Jean-Louis Borloo, said after the announcement in Brussels, according to Bloomberg News.

The market for genetically engineered crops is worth several billion dollars worldwide. Only one genetically altered crop is currently grown in Europe: a form of corn, called MON 810, produced by Monsanto and other companies.

In 2003, the United States, Argentina and Canada brought complaints about the EU’s biotechnology policies at the WTO, which ruled in 2006 that a de facto ban on imports of genetically modified foods between 1984 and 2004 violated trade rules.

Since that ruling, the commission has required Austria to drop its ban on imports of genetically modified foods. But some other countries have maintained bans on imports and cultivation of such crops, and the United States still could impose punitive duties on the Europeans for continuing to block trade.

    snip

Groups opposed to biotechnology said the vote was a signal to the commission to stop trying to win permission for the crops until it used more rigorous methods to prove that they are safe.

“The commission must now abandon its unpopular proposals once and for all and get down to the real work of making risk assessments that we can believe in,” said Helen Holder, the coordinator for genetically modified organisms at Friends of the Earth Europe.

OMG, the Brown Shirts are here.

  • I’m a Linda too

If this isn’t the clearest reason to become UNDemocratic Partyized, I don’t know what is.

  • http://www.trygve.com/pitchfork.jpg Consolidated Pitchfork and Supply Co.

    Hey Fed Up,
You know there are other Revolutionary supply houses to choose from than this Moss guy you keep promoting.

    Call Consolidated Today!

Here is why you should Ignore Moss’s Pitchforks

    Hello again Folks,
My name is Bill but you can just call me PorkMan because I own and operate one of the largest pig farms in the US. The only larger pig farm being of course the one in Washington.
I understand some of you good patriots are shopping for pitchforks and torches.
At Consolidated we carry only the finest Pitchforks and torches albeit they are made overseas in booming Iraq, but do to the quality and performance of these forks, plus the availability you can have these forks shipped today.
I know Seattle Moss does a good job trying to sell you, but he is new to the game. In fact from what I understand SM has yet to make a single fork in production.
I have also learned that Seattle Moss intends to use Obots to make the pitchforks. Rumor has it that he intends to transform Obots from koolaid drunks into responsible Johnny Walker drinkers and thus get them to leave their parents basements to work real jobs.

However, from what I have learned SM doesn’t plan to pay his obots much in the way of wages. SM plans to pay his obots $1 salary with the prospect of large bonuses at the end of the year. These poor obots are so naive to think they will ever see any bonus money as SM has written in the contract that he can pocket 90% of their bonus just because he can and will.
Seattle Moss also seems to be too demanding in what he expects for these forks. I just laugh that SM would barter these custom forks for Spaghetti and meat balls..What a joke.
I have a much better deal for you patriots.
In exchange for forks, torches and other supplies all I ask of you is to round up obots maybe your own kids and bring them to one of my many pig farms so that they can clean out the pig styes and get the experience they need so that they can have a leg up in their Marxist utopia.
    Call now!!
Click on the name for more information..

  • I’mFedUp

    Dear Bill,

Before I say you can “bite me” and that I would only do business with a torch and pitchfork purveyor as reputable as Seattle Moss…ROFLMAO to that pic. You owe me a new computer monitor, due to the fact that my Starbuck’s latte seems to have somehow splattered on the old one.

PS. I would also try rounding up the elderly to service your pig farms. Under the Zero Administration, our elderly have been recruited as Brown Shirts in the Zero Army and are being used to clean up dog shit in public parks.

  • connie

I think Rove will have the last laugh…

  • DS

    Here’s one of them:

    http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/

I don’t always agree with their definition of “promise kept” or “in the works”. Proposing something without getting it into law doesn’t count for me.

But, it’s a place to find a few hundred of the thousands of promises he made.

  • I’mFedUp

You really don’t want to be going to that website and leaving your information. Not if you’re not getting in the boat. Nuh uh. I wanted to do it, but when I heard all the information they are asking, and knowing about Zero and the Bot Squad…I don’t need the breadcrumbs….

  • candymarl

James you are so out of touch. You want Obama to do the job he was elected to do? Get with the 1984 program!

  • http://www.marklevinshow.com Seattle Moss

    Hey PorkMan,
I see from your picture that you have escaped again from the obot asylum and have picked up the Pitchfork again to defend this great country.

What crazy Bill doesn’t tell you is that his pitchforks are made in Iraq using depleted Uranium to make the forks.
Bill only makes the simple fork variety shown in his picture. Moss is more creative and makes double ended forks with a torch holder and night scope.

    Buy domestic!
    Let’s keep the jobs here.

    Moss’s Pitchfork and Torch Co.

Good one Harp, I was thinking along similar lines until I read your post. I was thinking about asking them how quickly they think they can get out of my cross-hairs. I’ve decided to simply put up a sign that reads “Warning: Pissed off rabid Rottweilers here; 0bama supporters WELCOME!

My only question to any Obot who knocks on my door will be “What the fuck are you doing on my property, Obot?” Any telephone calls will be met with, “Do not call me ever again.” Mail will be promptly shredded.

  • I’mFedUp

Y’all are cordially invited to a Bot Rodeo and Bot-B-Q at Casa De Seattle Moss. Pitchforks will be provided. After dinner, there will be a greased Bot chase, a bronco Bot riding event, dunk the Bot booths, pin the tail on the Bot games, and finally a Bot undergarment fashion show, featuring the Garanimals they wear while posting their tripe.

  • QUEENIE

I would ask…Why did Obama send Henry Kissinger to Russia within weeks of his inauguration?? Thesame Henry Kissinger that most dems and families of 9/11 victims fought to have removed from Bush’s 9/11 commission and a man who should be in the hague..not reresenting any democratic administration!..Why would any democrat put a man in place of Treasury that is a protege of Kissinger and the CFR??

I will have a copy of the following to give to anyone trying to sell me Obama’s policies!

    …………………………….

Tim Geithner worked for 3 years at Kissingers firm..and then the CFR………yes Kissinger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t believe me??..look it up!! If the transparent one hasn’t scrubbed it yet!!

Why did Obama send Kissinger to Russia a few weeks ago , representing his administration and the USA..
    lets see shall we??????

    http://www.answers.com/topic/timothy-f-geithner

    Timothy Geithner
    Career
After completing his studies,Geithner worked for Kissinger and Associates in Washington, D.C., for three years and then joined the International Affairs division of the U.S. Treasury Department in 1988. He was deputy assistant secretary for international monetary and financial policy (1995–1996), senior deputy assistant secretary for international affairs (1996-1997), assistant secretary for international affairs (1997–1998).<

He was Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs (1998–2001) under Treasury Secretaries Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers. Summers was his mentor, but other sources call him a Rubin protégé.

In 2002 he left the Treasury to join the Council on Foreign Relations as a Senior Fellow in the International Economics department. At the International Monetary Fund he was director of the Policy Development and Review Department (2001-2003).

the same Henry Kissinger that said the following..( the utube is available..but i can’t post too many links here..

“There is a need for a new world order,” Kissinger told PBS interviewer Charlie Rose last year, “I think that at the end of this administration, with all its turmoil, and at the beginning of the next, we might actually witness the creation of a new order – because people looking in the abyss, even in the Islamic world, have to conclude that at some point, ordered expectations must return under a different system.”

Seymore Hersh wrote about Kissinger you can google..

Kissinger and Nixon in the White House

Seymour M. Hersh, a former correspondent for The New York Times, won the Pulitzer Prize for international reporting in 1970, for his revelation of the massacre at My Lai, in South Vietnam. He is the winner of virtually every major journalism award, including the George Polk Award, which he has received four times—more than any other reporter in the history of the Polk Awards. His new book, which will be published early next year by Summit, is a history of Henry Kissinger’s service as national security adviser to Richard Nixon, during Nixon’s first term. The article below is drawn from that book; it deals with White House wiretapping activities and with the White House internal-security unit known as the Plumbers. A second Atlantic article by Mr. Hersh, to be published later this year, will be concerned with one aspect of the Nixon-Kissinger foreign policy during Nixon’s first term.

    by Seymour M. Hersh

you can also google a Tronoto Globe and Mail article about Kissinger..if you have any doubts..

Published on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 in the Toronto Globe & Mail
Is Henry Kissinger a War Criminal?
Thirty years after the death of Charles Horman inspired a bestseller and an Oscar-winning movie, his widow still pursues those she believes are really to blame — including the former U.S. secretary of state. It’s one reason the quest for international justice makes the United States so nervous.

    by Marcus Gee

Sooooooooo my question to Obamabots brownshirts would be ..why is Obama working with Henry Kissinger..the worst war criminal in my lifetime?????????? and coverup speiaclist..who conspired with the Saudi’s and attempted part of the 9/11 cover-up that killed my co-workers..and two of my neighbors children?

  • I’mFedUp

LOL Uppity…I forgot about my monster mutts. Good one. And now I have a pitchfork.

  • andrew191

Hey SM, isn’t depleted Uranium used for it’s armor piercing capabilities? That might be an attractive feature for a pitchfork in light of the government’s unprecedented use of tanks to attack the upstart Branch Davidians.

Warfare has been one of the most effective inspirations for inovation. Grenades, like pitchforks have been around for centuries. A rocket propelled grenade is a whole differnt animal. Might I suggest that you develope an RPF, (rocket propelled pitchfork)?

  • oowawa

What I want to know is if either Moss’s Pitchfork & Torch or Consolidated Pitchfork & Supply are trading publically on NYSE, or are these high-tech enterprises traded on NASDAQ? I definitely feel bullish about these companies.

I wish I had a few dollars to invest.

  • Katmoon

They never seem to come to our door; hmmm it may be the huge sign in the upstairs window which reads; “Part of my heart in in Iraq”, or the three blue star service member flag we have on our front door. OR then again it could be our Lucy “doggins” Sharkita-chow, or it may be the Hillary, and McCain bumper stickers on our cars, or it could be that we live in a bitter people type of place in TN, you know where the ash spill occurred. IF none of that works, I would simply ask what their plan is to support and keep the second amendment.

  • Fredster

I have a good idea. Mix up a spray bottle with ammonia and water (mild mixture).

When they come to your door and start that crap, just a couple of spritzes should do it.

Optional: Offer them a tissue if you wish. ;-)

  • Katmoon

That is the question would be asked, while I am cleaning my 357 magnum.

  • Fredster

    Ohhhh. that’s good too Katmoon!

  • I’mFedUp

Why not just nip it in the bud and post an “OButts Keep Out” sign in your yard?

  • Katmoon

ROGLMAO!!!!! Yes, so true, dang wish I had thought of it!!! ROFL oowawa!

  • Katmoon

Ferd would probably be upstairs, urinating out the window at them!

  • cynic

You’re suggesting that most of the young people who defend our country are conservatives?

Barack Obama got 44% of the military vote. That’s remarkable, when you consider that this demographic includes a disproportionately high percentage of males, and that males in the general population were more likely to vote for McCain.

As a result of the past 2 elections, democrats have added 10 military veterans to their ranks in Congress, despite the fact that the total number of veterans in Congress has declined.

Democrats are more likely to have worn a military uniform.

  • oowawa

LMAO–Funny how you get a mental picture of the characters on NQ after a while . . .

  • I’mFedUp

I know. I would be nice, if this country survives Obama, for us all to have an NQ bash and put names to faces LOL.

  • Katmoon

And then of course, you woke up. Honestly, you need to keep a fire extinguisher close by, for all your “pants on fire”, tales. Military Mom, Aunt, daughter, and sister here, the way I hear it first hand, from those is the Military, when their votes were counted (you know that funny thing of leaving out military votes, because they were mailed in and considered “late” although correctly postmarked) they were for McCain.

    Enough of responding to you.

  • Katmoon

uhh, oops, looks like the comment I responded to is gone…

  • Katmoon

    Check the twitter.

  • oowawa

Unless we all happen to meet up at Camp Obama first . . .

If not at Camp Obama, a picnic at the big ash spill in Tennessee would seem appropriate . . .

  • I’mFedUp

Ughhhh…oowawa…Just when I was having some shits and giggles…you reminded me about the camps. I hope I get a good number tattooed on my forehead.

  • Benjamin

I know one subject area that they ARE following. It’s my understanding that young bots are bailing on Obama left and right after hearing Obama’s smackdown of the question about marijuana legalization. I suppose many of the young bots just assumed that Obama is so ultra cool and hip that he would immediately legalize it.

All Hail – President Teleprompter (and the skinny black guy that comes out and reads him)!

  • Lyn

I pass on the emails I get and tell people to call the numbers and say exactly the opposite. IF Obama says call your Congressman and Senator(by name I might add)and THANK them for working to pass the stim bill, I call and tell them how furious I am they signed the damn pork filled bill with OUT even reading it. So far it seems to be working well and even better it doesn’t cost anyone any money except Obama’s group.

  • cynic

The article linked below covers the topic pretty well. As can be seen by the comments appended to it from people with past and current military connections, opinions are divided. It’s clear, however, that any conclusion that the military is now strongly politically conservate is groundless.

Monsanto already has their congressional shill in place.

House Resolution 875, or the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009, was introduced by Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., in February. DeLauro’s husband, Stanley Greenburg, works for Monsanto – the world’s leading producer of herbicides and genetically engineered seed.

DeLauro’s act has 39 co-sponsors and was referred to the House Agriculture Committee on Feb. 4. It calls for the creation of a Food Safety Administration to allow the government to regulate food production at all levels – and even mandates property seizure, fines of up to $1 million per offense and criminal prosecution for producers, manufacturers and distributors who fail to comply with regulations.

Ms. DeLauro is gearing up for forced “Better living through chemicals”

Your use of the word groundless is beyond unmitigated. Much of what you post is gobbledegook, replete with fallacies of the unknown fact, invincible ignorance, post hoc ergo propter hoc, composition/division, and your favorite, the equivocation.

Kind of funny that your link has no statistical analysis of the vote or any breakdown. What I read was mainly claptrap. I’ll believe the real soldiers, including my stepson and several nieces and nephews who have served more than one tour.

It’s already a dirty word, and I hope will be for generations to come. They need to pay for what they did to Hillary and, therefore this country. The Dems brought America their “chosen one.” NOT the GOP. The Dems picked him, committed fraud to get him “selected,” violated 18,000,000 voters’ rights, and did it all so they could literally destroy what this country is. Actually I only come here to take notes. I’m working up a reality television program concerning a small group of conservative survivors who are attempting to make sense of post-election America. • Lyn

Hey Pat I just realized you have 08 as the date on your pic not 9

  • http://firefox AnnieCollier

A bit high. We have the Naval Postgraduate School and Defense Language Institute here and plenty of military, active and retired, residents. During the campaign, unanimously they reported that 70% of the military were opposed to 0.

  • http://firefox AnnieCollier

I assume the other 30% were racist blacks.

  • cynic

How is it that the military would even have the numbers to begin with?

  • http://firefox AnnieCollier

I don’t ever shred mail if it has a franked return envelope…just send back the document (after removing anything with my name on it) and send it back to them…love that they have to pay the postage.

  • http://firefox AnnieCollier

My county went, as did the rest of CA, for 0. However, now that the big exciting “change the world” election is over, I suspect the buzz is gone. No door to door people here last weekend. There were so many during the campaign in my daughter’s Carmel neighborhood, they had to put a “No Solicitations” sign on their door.

The Camp Obama meeting reported on the evening news last night showed about 25 – 30 people joining the local Dim pols. It looked pretty pathetic.

I’ve been waiting for my first (and last, I’m sure) visit. I’ll give them the big 0 sign with a “Seig Heil”. Poor, poor deluded bots.

  • cynic

Really? I suppose you can pick them out in any random crowd? Keeping in mind that Obama voters likely represent more than 50% of the passing faces…

Uhhh….Cyanide…the loony lefties hate anyone with faith. So it would sort of be hard to call JWs OButts.

  • http://firefox AnnieCollier

Maybe we could be ready to give them our own handouts…hmmmm. So many topics to cover…caucus fraud, primary fraud, broken promises, illegal Auntie, broken promises, that pay for play mansion in Chicago, recruiting Muslim jihadists for the WH, moving them into the neighborhood. Heck, the people around here grab their pitchforks when they release a sexual predator back into the county. I’m wondering what all the local bots will do with a Gitmo grad…probably put him to work at Dim headquarters on salary.

GM CEO resigns at Obama’s behest

They did polls through the military publications, I believe. The Marines I spoke to said most of the blacks would go for 0 but 70% of military overall were not.

  • http://firefox AnnieCollier

I plan on dispensing pity to them as well.

  • http://www.hillaryorbust.com Hillary or Bust

Cynic, I live in Los Angeles and you’d be surprised by the people I know who dislike Obama and did not vote for him.

One couple, a pot-smoking pair of Burning Man hippies who believe Obama is a tool of the banking cartel.

But you’re too caught up in your ridiculous black and white thinking to clue in that there are in fact moderates and progressives who don’t like Obama.

  • Benjamin

Didn’t actually say I agreed with it. Just sayin’ that apparently it was the reason a lot of youngsters supported him.

  • http://liberalrapture.com/ John (from Liberal Rapture)

I am in not worried about these sad sacks AT ALL. All one has to do if approached is ask the poor child a direct question about the budget. Any question will do. They will implode – just as they did last year – into a heap of babble.

Actually this will end up being a sign of weakness. Obama’s budget is disliked already. All this will do is stoke the opposition.

  • Ferd Berfle

Obama voters likely represent more than 50% of the passing faces

So of 100 people I meet, 50 of them are likely to be slack-jawed, mouth-breathing morons who supported That One.

That is a depressing thought, 50 of you “cynics” out of 100.

  • elise

Susan, I have a fifty five year old adolescent brother-in-law. He’s in that $250k + income and he still has stars in his eyes, believes Obama’s campaign money came from “the people” and that he’s honest. He still doesn’t believe he will have to pay higher taxes. They have two children and four very expensive autos and not a single one gets better than sixteen mpg. Obama has said the gas tax should go up so we won’t drive as much and waste gas and my bro-in-law doesn’t see the irony. At least there is some excuse for adolescents.

  • elise

Pat, I would like to ask the same question I’ve been asking for months: Why did Obama vote to give immunity to telecoms in the FISA bill? It’s been my experience when I’ve asked in the past they don’t know what FISA is or why it’s important. BTW the toon is great.

  • Mandelay

Yes, that was the one I meant!
And Hitler and Mussolini had similar “enthusiastic” supporters who infested neighborhoods and towns to keep people in line and send the message. When intimidation didn’t work, they made examples of dissenters. Remember last year when dissenters were labeled “racists” by Obama’s storm troopers? Where will Obama lead us with that mentality?
Sometimes, when I’m feeling really punchy over the Obama Era, I think of that old Star Trek episode with the leader called “Landreu.” Then I think of Obama with his hope/change and other generic mantras and I shudder.
I’ve head perfectly sane people I respect tell me “We need to support him.” “We want him to succeed, because if he succeeds, America will succeed.” Can that really be right? Is his success so important that it’s ok to trade away who we are? In my heart I feel this is so wrong. Ah, if only we had to worry about Tribbles instead of Obama.

  • QUEENIE

Thanks Uppity woman..I was unaware of Ms. DeLauro, that makes my question even more valid..why is Obama considering Mr Taylor when the dems already have someone controlling our food supply with GM products when the EU deems them dangerous? and Un-tested and we are the guinea pigs for this shit, and our children and grandchildren will be forced to eat this shit..possibly/probably cancer causing.

  • Ellen

Benjamin: it is your ‘understanding that young….’ exactly where does this information come from? Your understanding is a big ambiguous I think and doesn’t really say much. Not to mention that this statement is hardly a fact and cannot be supported by much.

I worked on Obama’s campaign and still do participate in various activities. In NO sense have we EVER been told to follow the leader or endorse anything we don’t believe in. This blog is insinuating something that just is not the truth at all. There are no ‘camps’ to get ‘kool aided’ by Obama teachers. In fact, if you look a ittle further and don’t attach your own spin to what you see on his website, you will see that he is asking for all people to help in contacting your representatives to show support of the budget and any other policies Obama believes in. What is wrong with that??? You certainly cannot critisize anyone calling their representatives to indicate their support (or not) of what congress will be voting on. this is just an attempt to give the people more influence in how congress does business.
You are creating paranoia where it does not exist – all because of your hatred of Obama. It goes no where as you aren’t the majority of people by a long shot and you know it.

why is it that when Larry or another blogger here posts their opinion on Obama’s policy, and its always hateful and negative of whatever Obama promotes or says, we can’t find agreement on this viewpoint from any other media outlets (except for all the pro-Hillary, hate-Obama ones, of which there are many)?

  • I’mFedUp

Ellen, you Bots just kill me…Here’s a direct link to “Camp Obama.” ROFLMAO. Why do you even bother with the lies here? You know we know better. And you’re really abusive on top of it all. No, we don’t like the Fraud. So why come here and try to get us to do so? If you’re going to try, get a better gimmick honey pie. We all know the truth.

CAMP OBAMA – Where are the Obots get indoctrinated…

    http://campobama.blogspot.com/

  • Grace

Obama’s vote on FISA wasn’t even discussed by his followers; it was simply ignored, rationalized away as a political “strategy,” or that he didn’t really mean it. And after that, nobody ever talked about it anymore, w/the exception of bloggers or people like us, who can be easily marginalized. I think Obama’s campaign during the primary was brilliant in the sense that he was able to project everything negative about himself on HRC. She was the “Bush-Cheney lite,” capable of “doing anything to win,” “pro-Iraq war,” “bambozzler” “unexperienced on foreign policy w/the exception of having teas, etc., etc. And the proof that it was all B.S. is that he chose her as Secretary of State.HOw can that make sense to people?

  • Donna Brazile

Smellen’s already been to Camp O and graduated:-)

    Stop the lovefest!

  • I’mFedUp

Smellen’s hardly a “lovefest” LOL. Very angry person with very angry posts.

  • Donna Brazile

But, she loves her some Big O. Loves him so much she wants to pay all our bills.

    Stop the lovefest, Smellen!

  • I’mFedUp

Lordy Lordy…Ellen, you gonna buy me a house and car? I want my free stuff. Where is it? I’ve been waiting. Poor Smellen, she has no idea how bad it’s going to get for her. ROFLMAO.

  • Chicago Joe

Actually, only about 54% of the population voted, so only 1 in 4 if the people you pass voted for zero. Another 1 in 4 voted for McCain. 2 in 4 didn’t bother.

  • cynic

Yep, you’re entirely correct. Nearly half of all Americans eligible to vote couldn’t be bothered, and this was a better-than-usual turn out.

  • elise

Grace, many of them couldn’t discuss it in an intelligent way because they didn’t know what it is. I remember Olbermann excusing it by saying BO had a “secret plan” to deal with FISA after the election. I’m still waiting for that. Even when I came across someone who did know something about it, they would say something to the effect no politician is perfect and then proceed to tell me he was perfect.

  • Pat Racimora

Oh my–I will have to change that. Sleepy today…
    Thanks Lyn.

  • http://ksclematis ksclematis

Thanks, Pat and Susan, you’re are right on target. I’m thinking there are a lot of disillusioned young ‘uns, plus some elders whose kids are young ‘uns. Wanna bet it’ll be only four years???

  • http://ksclematis ksclematis

I’m wondering what Hillary thinks of when she’s standing right behind 0 and listens to his proclamations or tirades, and what she would be doing if she were in his stead?

I got email last week to sign a petition for his budget and deleted it. Thanks for warning me of the door knockers…I won’t answer the door unless I know the knocker.

  • elise

LOL, Ferd. That’s a good one.

  • elise

This isn’t about Republicans anymore, Blue Orchid. Obama “Won”. He signed the bill so he owns it.

  • JTomorrow

I received a strong arm call during the campaign and it wasn’t pleasant. I’ve never gotten an aggressive call like that before.

  • andrew191

Blue Orchid; TURN THE CAR OFF!!! GET OUT OF THE GARAGE!!!!!GET INTO A HYPERBARIC CHAMBER BEFORE YOU’RE BRAIN DEAD!!!!!!!! I would call 911 myself, but I don’t know where you live. Our prayers are with you.

  • I’mFedUp

Andrewwwwwwww….OH MY GOD you are so damned funny.

  • Carlaforhillary

Obama is not asking for the people to look at his budget and then let him know what they think. He is saying “call the rep. to let them know you support me.” That is what is wrong.

  • Ellen

Honey Pie?? Smellen?? I’mFedUp, FredBertle, Donna Brazile – as you are all the same person I’ll type this msg once: no one is trying to get you to like Obama – just trying to point out that you are mistaken if you think the obama haters are the majority here and that everyone who voted for him is now regretting it. its not the case and you all know it.

you seem to enjoy preaching to the choir with your lies and innuendos. so be it.

obama camp was used as a political organizing tool, not propoganda. something your beloved Hillary could have used and she might have won!

  • I’mFedUp

No, Ellen, I don’t know it. In fact, I am rather shocked by the die hard Obama geeks I know who voted for him and regret it myself. We know who he is and we are proud we were smart enough to vote like grown ups. Next time maybe you will too!

  • andrew191

Impressed as I am by the shrill tenor of your increasingly defensive posts at NQ, I can only admire your devotion to 0bama, and I would respectfully like to nominate you for a Saint Jude Award (if there is such a thing). It’s a lock!

And in the spirit of this thread, I would also like to give you credit for inspiring me to come up with the definitive solution for the prevention of invasive 0bots stinking up the premises. I’ll simply fly the American flag,……….THAT should keep them, and you, away!!!

  • I’mFedUp

I’ll simply fly the American flag,……….THAT should keep them, and you, away!!!

That’s like calling the Orkin man.

  • Benjamin

Ellen, there was an article on Politico that discussed Obama’s statement on marijuana. I merely scanned the comments there, and it was full of people who said they voted for Obama but are now angry over that issue. Obama himself – at that town hall – said it was the number one question submitted.

My comment was more about his supporters than Obama himself. If you recall, Claire McCaskill endorsed him because her “daughter” wanted her to.

  • Camille

“Sign a pledge?” What are we doing here? Joining the “Party?” Ugh.

  • C.S.

Ellen, I have received emails inviting me to participate in these “training sessions” so that I would know how to “help” Obama “win”; so was Soertoro/Obama just trying to lure me to some dark place with what he considered a seductive message or was he so out of touch he didn’t know those “training camps” were being held?

Believe me, I have been lured by better political speeches than those of Mr. Soertoro/Obama and survived so frankly, m’dear, I just don’t give a dam_!

  • C.S.

Yes, and Hitler’s little messengers started at age 10 participating in programs in the same way as the little “volunteers” outlined in our new legislation H.R. 1388 and S277.

Soertoro/Obama was “too tired” to concern himself with the economy of middle class Americans but not tired enough to delay creation of his “national Civilian Community Corps… or it’s companion H.R. 645 “National Emergency Centers”.

I can’t decide which Science Fiction movie we’re living in; The Pod People takeover or Jaws – but I do believe that our democracy is going to need a bigger boat!

  • Tricia Spiegel

    Ellen–
    Political organizing tool
    Propaganda

They can be one in the same. I have since talked to an Obama Camp survivor, and they ARE one in the same.

  • politicalidentitycrisis

Obama, Osama. One letter makes little difference.

  • susan h

Obama people (surrogates) are taught to be intimidating, threatening, race-baiting, in your face. That is how they stole the caucuses from Hillary supporters. I am sure if someone disagrees with Obama’s policies, they will be called/branded a RACIST and who knows what may happen next. This is a very slippery slope Obama is commencing. Having people come to your door to force you to sign up for things and force you to sign card and take oaths is pretty scary stuff. Are we still in the United States of America?

  • Mary Miller

Are you out of your mind or just ignorant. Our dislike of Obama is so strong because he lies to everyone, steals and cheats. Go back and read his 38 interviews where he denies knowing Rezko except for a 5 hour stint as a lawyer on a case against him..On national TV during one of the debates-I believe the eve of Ohio..he emphatically denied his relationship with Rezko..to all of us..In March, the day of his ‘forgettable’ speech on race he admitted to the Trib (Chicago) that he and Rezko bought Obamas house together, that Rezko had in fact donated over $250,000 to him and his Rainbow PAC (so Obama could pay minor pol’s for their vote)..and they spoke on a daily basis..he and the Rezko’s..in fact they were all dinner partners..DID YOU MISS THAT ELLEN?
How about no money from lobbyists? How many times did you here that one Ellen? Ultimately, Barak Obama took more money from lobbyists than anyone else in history. Look at his lists Ellen.
Look at his take from AIG..get a life Ellen-before you go around denigrating us look in the mirror and ask yourself how it feels to be cheated, lied to and taken for a fool by a person who is so racist-he and only he used the race card over and over to guilt you into this mess we are in…alll the while laughing on his way to Penny Pritzkers bank. Hey Ellen..where is the 100 million dollars Obama gave to Rezko to fix up those slums? Where are the records of his 8 years as a legislator in Illinois//he says he lost all of the records..that was after he said he left them in his office..after he said they were packed up somewhere..then once more for good measure he said he was too understaffed to keep records?? Yo- Ellen-you are a bright person..Please keep your opinions of those of us who were not taken in by lies and actually did some research..to yourself!
