        When we were children, we were told to be good or we won’t go to heaven. I’m am seriously beginning to believe that those of us who are here now, were already bad in another life and we are currently residing in Hell. This new “life” is all about keeping up with the Jones’ and we all need to wake up and stop being hypocrytes and refrain from following whatever the _ _ _ _ is in style.
        Our children have all the same amenities that we have (cell phones, color tv’s, personal computers, etc.) because if they don’t, they won’t be like every other spoiled little brat in their peer group. They are both selfish and disrespectful because the mainstream media glorifies that sort of behavior and they know that they hold all of the cards. They know that even if we don’t particularly like them, we ultimately love them.
    We live in a time that frowns upon being a caucasion male. It’s a black woman’s world and if you don’t kiss up to that idea, you perish and die. The American Dream has been twisted, contorted and ripped to shreds because we as Americans are either afraid to stand up against the changing times or have been blinded by the b—s— that movies, politicians and so called “enlightened ones” feed us.
        Take the city of New Orleans for instance. It has to be in the top ten worst places in the country in regards to crime, corruption and sin. Yet, because of hurricane Katrina, the whole country treats that place like the lame little brother/sister that can’t fend for itself and gives them more support than they deserve. There has to be enough resonsible, intelligent adults there to come up with some plan to revive that s—hole. I still hear about Katrina this, Katrina that. Get over it! That was over 4 years ago.
        And as far as American past-times. I used to be an athlete and a fan. But sports today is a joke. It’s a shameless business built by exploiting fun kids games. Why is that if you can run fast or you’re over seven foot tall, you go to college for free and make millions in the professional arena. College is supposed to be an institution for learning not a stepping ladder for illiterate millionaires. And how about those role models. Another reason our children are such desensitised little punks.
        Please America. why can’t we take a few steps back and become decent, god-fearing creatures of the Earth like we were intended to be. Why can’t we stop destroying our world. Why can’t we stop marvelling over our technological acheivements and take more time to look around and be humbled by the creation of the natural world around us.
