Barack Obama’s Saudi Arabian Shuffle

(Bumped up from yesterday afternoon . with this update from Hot Air: “Flashback: NYT scolded Clinton for almost bowing to royalty.” The New York Times excorciated President Bill Clinton in 1994 for this mild gesture:

It wasn’t a bow, exactly. But Mr. Clinton came close. He inclined his head and shoulders forward, he pressed his hands together. It lasted no longer than a snapshot, but the image on the South Lawn was indelible: an obsequent President, and the Emperor of Japan.

Today’s media, including the Times, give President Obama a pass for his 90-degree bow from the waist. “When will the New York Times cover this, even to the extent they covered Clinton’s inclined shoulders? Or is the unthinkable in 1994 turned into the unmentionable in 2009, thanks to a national media that has completely sold out to Barack Obama?,” asks Ed Morrissey.

: : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :

It is bad enough that the absence of a credible energy policy has put America in a servile position vis-a-vis the Saudis. That is not the fault of Barack Obama. But what in the hell was he thinking when he did his bowing and scraping routine in front of King Abdullah? Looks like he was auditioning for the movie, The Hollywood Shuffle:

The Saudis apparently were not all that impressed with the Barack bow. This piece in the Arab News lays the wood to Obama for dropping the ball in coming up with a “new” Afghan policy.

The so-called new plan is nothing but Bush’s old wine in Obama’s new bottle. So much for the “Change We Can”! Looks like the pundits who mocked our boundless adulation for Obama and celebration of “change in Washington” were right after all. They were right when they insisted that whoever is in charge in Washington, the US foreign policy seldom changes. This is unfortunate considering the great expectations and hopes the new president’s talk of exploring a “new way forward” had spawned across the Muslim world. . . .

By blindly signing on the dotted line drawn by men picked up by Bush and Cheney, Obama is wittingly or unwittingly pitching for the same agenda that has been at the heart of most of the world’s current political and economic woes. . . .

The US can deal with the mess in Afghanistan, Pakistan and elsewhere only when it confronts these uncomfortable home truths. Is that asking too much of a leader who had his heart and mind in the right place to see through the duplicity of Iraq war? Surely someone whose entire life has been a metaphor for change and the “audacity of hope” can see what the people in Afghanistan and Pakistan or Palestine want or hope for? Or why the murderous Al-Qaeda-Taleban squads continue to multiply by the day?

For if Afghanistan and Pakistan are burning today, it’s because the world looked the other way when the land of olives and prophets was burned down. If I were in Obama’s shoes, I would be looking for the folks and factors that started the fire that is threatening to consume our world.

Besides bowing low to the Saudis it looks like Barack will be needing to do some major butt snorkeling and Saudi foot hugging.

If you think I’m crossing a line here then check out the following video and judge for yourself:

Or maybe, just maybe, Barack signed up for the black acting lessons:

An American President bowing to a Saudi? That’s not change I want to believe in.

  • Andy

He literally humiliated all Americans with his subservient deep bow down to the Saudi King. It was a disgrace. He is not just “Barack H. Obama” out there. He is the embodiment of the Office of the President of the United States. WTF….

    • catherine

Exactly! He represent all of us (whether we like him or not). That was unspeakably humiliating for the entire country. When I first saw the video my hands were literally shaking …I was sooo enraged.

      • termo

Obama humiliated our country a number of times during that trip. He does not know how to conduct himself with foreign dignataries.

Regarding the bowing to the Saudi King, I would not be surprised to see a White House release that Obama saw that the King’s shoes were untied and stooped down to tie them – thereby, saving the life of the King and, once again, saving the world.

        • Ferd Berfle

I despise That One but he isn’t the first to kowtow to the POS Saudi King. Frankly, that was the country that we should have invaded instead of Iraq.

          • tek

Ferd: You’re right. Bush kissed the Saudi King and held hands with him while they took a walk. Still, I’m disgusted with Obama getting a pass on stuff that Clinton got criticized over and Clinton was ten times the President Obama will ever be.

            • Ferd Berfle

Still, I’m disgusted with Obama getting a pass on stuff that Clinton got criticized over and Clinton was ten times the President Obama will ever be.

I agree 100%. I would use the word Teflon to describe That One but that is too kind a word. Perhaps oily.

              • I’mFedUp

I’m still laughing at another poster here calling those two hideous buffoons “The Clampetts.” ROFLMAO.

    • C.S.

It has been a matter of pride since the United States was created that our leaders bowed to no monarch. We were the equal of all nations and we proved it by greeting other leaders equally.

Soertoro/Obama disrespected the office of President with his less than graceful hustle to bow before this Saudi leader. Not one of our friends; but a nation that holds disdain for our country.

Soertoro/Obama showed no respect for our country while campaigning, he showed no respect for the other candidates while campaigning, he showed no respect for our inauguration by botching the oath of office and then “redoing” it in secret. And he got away with every disrespectful thing he did. So why would he think he couldn’t get away with bowing down to a Muslim king? And more disgusting, he has!

May Lincoln not give him one peaceful night in Our White House!

      • sowsear

I am going to adopt that line, write it into everything I write against BO:
“May Lincoln not give BO one peaceful night in Our White House”

    • http://www.sonicninjakitty.wordpress.com Sonic Ninja Kitty

I wonder what all the other dignitaries in that room were thinking. NO ONE bowed to anyone else.

      • leslie

That was what I noticed, as well. I haven’t seen one – not one – other person in any of the videos bow to the Saudis.

I have to ask myself what the Obots are thinking now. Did they really anticipate TehOne was going to refer to America as “arrogant”? Did they vote for him so he could embarrass the nation by giving iPods and DVDs to heads of nations?

        Is he coooool or what?

Yup this is real change. We were led by a murderous jerk for the last 8 years. Now we are led by a stupid arrogant jerk (who also murders in the name of “freedom”).

        • pcmoore28

The Obots are not reacting because this gaffe is not getting any air time in our media. He is getting a pass….again. This is an outrage…it looks to me like he bowed and used his right hand to hold and kiss the ring of the saudi king.

This is the first time any President has done such an outrageous act…If Bush had done this, the press would be going viral right now. The press continues to disappoint.

    • Tess

I saw those two Clampetts do Europe and was grateful my kids taught me Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

      • tek

Tess: “those two Clampetts” LOL! That’s so apt.

      • I’mFedUp

        OMFG “the two Clampetts?” LMFAO.

  • I’mFedUp

He hates America. Period. He’s continually humiliating us, making us look week, apologizing for what scum America is. My friend called me from her car crying when she was listening to his crap on the radio. This is embarrassing, but worse it’s dangerous. This totally brain dead buffoon is on a path of destruction for us that honestly I thought would take longer the a few short months.

The one thing I can remember is that I grew up in America, the most amazing country in the world. I’m going to start writing about how special America was to me, because the next generation will not have “America” as we know it. This is so sad. All because a bunch of voters were too ignorant to read.

  • Mercedes

What does this bubblehead think he is doing? Bowing and scraping is medieval no matter who is doing it or who it is done to. It took me about 3 years before I was constantly thinking to myself about Jimmy Carter, “Get that man out of there”. It has taken less than 2 months to generate an even more desperate reaction to Obama. He seems awfully sickly and befuddled to me. He should resign and take care of himself, hopefully, before Michelle can redecorate the White House.

    • sowsear

“Befuddled” is apt for The One who can’t even keep his place reading from TOTUS.

  • SJ

Its the Muslim King he has to show respect like all good Muslim do

    • termo

      Exactly.
The more we see, the more we know.

  • Andy

I really want to know why noone in the MSM has even reported this. No main newspaper, not CNN, not even ABC’s Tapper : isn’t it odd they report on Michelle touching the Queen but not on PBO’s unusual bow?

I really want an explanation from “The Editors”….

It is so odd noone mentioned it while mentioning tons of trivialities
( did Bruni kiss Obama or didn’t she an why) that looks conspiratorial…

    • oowawa

did Bruni kiss Obama or didn’t she an why

More importantly, did Sarkozy kiss Obama or vice versa or didn’t he and why?

Actually, I just wish that Ukraine was a member of the G-20. Having gorgeous Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko there would have livened things up considerably:

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yulia_Tymoshenko

Now who gets to sit by Yulia? Watch Michelle glare.

    • cali

Perhaps we should send a few “Letters to the Editor” and see if the major publications print them.

  • oowawa

Well Zip-a-dee-doo-dah! The first video certainly makes me wonder what Malcolm’s take on Mr. O would be. “House” or “Field”? I would say he seems housier by the day.

  • BVD

maybe it really is a muslim to muslim thing…i don’t understand why he did it if he was indeed the only leader to do so. if others did it as well, i still think it’s stupid but must be what you do upon meeting them? i know the bushes held hands with them but i do not ever recall them bowing down such as done by obama. and if either had, i am sure the good ole msm would have already run side by side footage as comparison to cover for their man by now.

    • lorac

I read that this king has outlawed bowing, saying that people (who are only men in his country, I believe…?) should only bow to god. So no one bows to him – except Obama, now….

I also read earlier this year, that this king’s nephew (a prince) is the one who bankrolled Obama’s Harvard education.

My guesses are on the theories of respect for Islam, misogyny, and gratefulness for past money. IOW, he was reacting from his own feelings, not acting as a representative for America.

      • NoBamaNoWay

he definitely has some connections with and affinity for the muslim world that most americans do not have.

      • FLDemFem

King Abdullah is known in The Kingdom, aka Saudi Arabia, as Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah. The title is religious in nature, obviously. This is what Wiki has to say about it.

It is most known today as the title taken by the King of Saudi Arabia in his role as protector of the two holiest cities of Islam, Mecca and Medina, which had traditionally been the role of the Caliph.

The first Saudi king to assume the title was Fahd bin Abdul Aziz in 1986. The current king, Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, has taken the same title after the death of King Fahd in 2005. King Fahd replaced the term “His Majesty” with “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques” because it was said that only God is All-Majestic, therefore the term “His Majesty [The King]” was replaced with this term.

When this happened, back in 1986, it was seen as a move towards lessening of secular influence in Saudi Arabia.
This article from Wiki on Wahhabi is very interesting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wahhabist
They are the ultra-conservative branch of Islam. Read it and worry.

        • NoBamaNoWay

saudi arabia is definitely seem by many muslims to be the epicenter of islam; i was going to mention something about the “custodian of the two holy places” thing; these two places (mecca and medina) indeed hold great significance for muslims.

i personally think that Obama bowed to the king almost unconsciously and reflexively, without even thinking how it would be perceived by americans, because deep down he instinctively felt a connection with and respect for “the guardian of the two holy places.” i don’t care what anybody says, ozero is at least a latent or closet muslim.

          • I’mFedUp

He’s a Muslim. Period. He even said it himself and we were all called “racists” for pointing it out. Now everyone deserves what they get because we put a Radical Islamic Muslim America Hatin PIECE OF SHIT in the White House. Good luck with that all you “PC” folks. The rest of us will leave you to your death, devastation, poverty and despair.

    • DAB

The hand holding seems rather sweet now in comparison to the bowing which implies obedience. I recall that this Bush faux pas was shown over and over in the MSM. Will the same be true about Obama’s embarrassing bow? I think that’s highly unlikely.

  • mountainaires

It is a stunning gaffe for a new president. How many times does he have to humiliate himself before he hires some worthy PR consultants to direct his behavior? The ones he has now are pathetic–RAHME must have had to change his pants after that one.

    HAH!!

    • FLDemFem

Check this out. An unemployed banker, laid off from Chase, is impersonating Obummer on Turkish television. Selling a “stimulus package” from a bank. Seriously.
      http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/04/04/turkey.obama.lookalike/index.html

Regular programming has just been interrupted by a news conference. A slender black man in a suit steps up to a podium, flanked by American flags and a White House logo.
“I wish I could announce such an economic package,” he says, “but there is a bank in Turkey that did it. It is Garanti. I wish we had Garanti in America.”

Don’t be fooled. This is a commercial on Turkish TV. The actor is a 44-year-old Barack Obama look-alike from Whitehall, Pennsylvania, named Michael Lamar. And he is shilling for a Turkish bank.

In the month before the real Barack Obama is to visit Turkey, this ad campaign went out all across the country on television and on billboards, using the iconic, Warholian image of the American president to sell low-interest loans.

Well, there goes the dignity of the American Presidency in the Middle East. Gone, bye, bye, hasta la vista, baby.

      • oowawa

LOL! It’s time for O-lookalike Michael Lamar to get back to the USA and replace Vince as the Sham-Wow pitchman! I wish I could buy stock in his career!

  • http://Godhelpusall lee M

I don’t care that he’s making an ass of himself, but he’s also making this ountry the laughingstock of the world. The rest of the world probably sees all of us as the “ugly Americans” just because some in this country were stupid enough to vote for him. That coupled with the illegal acts done this voting cycle and the crooked caucuses, “America The Beautiful” has become “America The Pitiful”

    • http://N/A breeze

“America The Beautiful” has become “America The Pitiful”

I read somewhere that Sarkozy (sp?) and the others
      “….were smiling approvingly….”

I may be wrong but, by the LAUGHTER on Sarkozy’s
      face, he is ready to

      ROTFLHHO!!!

      • Tuppence411

Sarkozy with Obama reminded me of Clinton with Yeltsin. Just struggling to keep a straight face while the clown made a jackass out of himself. Then losing it and letting out a big laugh.

  • Elizabeth

I agree with Abe Greenwald’s take in Commentary magazine. The Muslim world certainly got the symbolism of what happened which means it’s only a matter of tme before the consequences show and our media is forced to take an interest.

Among Muslim democrats and human rights advocates, utter dejection that the “leader of the Free World” has offered himself as a “subject” of the Saudi monarch; among Islamists, bliss over America’s seeming prostration before Salafist Islam; among international bad actors, assurance that America poses no threat; and among our allies, depression about the new systemic instability of the most dependable superpower in history.

  • barry bums a ciggie

I think his handlers are a bunch of young fools playing in the international arena for the first time EVER! When you meet the Japanese, you give the customary bow. When you meet the Saudi King, you don’t because it’s frowned upon.

According to an expert in extreme Muslim culture, she said Obama’s video tape to the Iranians a few weeks ago only showed 0bobo’s weakness. Bases on her assessment about the culture, she said by asking to work together, he basically is saying ‘we have no way to defeat you so I want to work with you.’

  • Patrick Henry

I suspect that Obama was giving the King the typical Muslim Male Greeting of Kissing the Hand..along with the Proper muslim Words…Susan has the pictures I sent her…

I suspect Obama was trying to Impress the Muslims and Arabs and send a Signal that He has a muslim background..

Idont think any other World leaders bowed to the King like this..I Believe it was a MUSLIM Greeting.

    • Tuppence411

Ok Patrick. You seems the most knowledgeable on the topic, so I am choosing you to fill in my knowledge gaps, please. Is the gesture common among Muslim men? If so, what is the protocol for who gives and who receives? Or is this gesture comparable to a Catholic kissing the Pope’s hand or ring? Is it a sign of fealty to the faith?

    • The Real HC

Let him greet the king like two Jordanian redneck men – they touch on the nose. It looks really close to kissing.

As far as hand kissing sometimes (especially during Eid) you see a younger man kiss the hand of an elder, senior man – sort of a “Don Corleone” thing and not AT ALL appropriate for the President and the King.

Can you imagine if Bush had done this? It would be front page news.

      • Ellen

Bush DID kiss the saudi’s hand you fool – not only that, he held it as the strolled through the gardens.

        • Lyn

Bush held his hand but did NOT kiss it and certainly did NOT bow

    • FLDemFem

According to the King himself, it is not a proper Muslim greeting. Muslims are supposed to bow only to God. Too bad Obummer didn’t get that memo.

  • http://www.hillaryorbust.com Hillary or Bust

This could be me being from Generation X but if I had seen this independently I would have thought nothing of it.

I can see that it has deeply upset some folks, however.

I’m just personally not that concerned over this – my bigger concern is the trillion dollar budget and global banking stuff going on.

    • lorac

I think the concern is that they may be related. The decisions (or lack of action) that a leader makes are affected by her/his view of the world. If this clown is all about dissing America, and having a deep reverence for Islam, he may not be too concerned with the effects of his decisions on us. IOW, his goals may not be ours.

    • trixta

Hillary or Bust, according to reports the Obama admin wants to have control over the internet under the guise of “national security.” Does that perk up Gen-Xer’s ears?

      • KintheNorthwest

I thought terriorism was a thing of the past

      • Ferd Berfle

Gee, all this change That One is bringing is so refreshing. It’s not a bit like the predecessor administration at all. There are no anal-retentive control-freaks in charge of the internets or the Google. Nope, it’s just one, big, happy, inbred family keeping complete tabs on one-another with the Monitor-in-Chief of the peep-holes, That One, on the job.

  • Objective Analysis

Everybody needs to be embarrassed and mobilize with your tea bags and revolt. Period!

While Obama is doing his G20 and Europe and Islamic sight see, Obama File reports that he is auctioning off USA Sovereignty with everything he signs.

Like I said, he will not last more than 6 months as good old VP Biden predicted…

  • b mathews

    • KintheNorthwest

Send it to Glenn Beck too!!!!!

  • Mandelay

Is it true the Saudis finance his education at Columbia and Harvard?

  • PamFlorida

Obama is absolutely ignorant of protocols between heads of state. In the Middle East, particularly in Muslim countries, a firm handshake or the traditional cheek to cheek greeting is appropriate. You will never see an Arab man even bow his head to another man, much less bow from the waist.
His kumbaya video to the Iranians was inappropriate and indicated weakness as well.
Middle Eastern culture is so different from ours. Honor, saving face, and bargaining back and forth are customary. Obama has just undermined any power or leverage he could have had with these countries. He is weak in their eyes and they will take advantage that weakness.
It is obvious Obama has very inexperienced people advising him. They may be book smart with high IQ’s and prestigious law degrees, but they are culturally clueless.
BTW-Who in the h#ll is his Chief of Protocol? Jeez, even Bush managed to understand the importance of cultural differences and proper protocol for a head of state.

  • IndianaDem

I haven’t found any online Arab sources that even bother to mention Obama’s bow. It evidently went unnoticed because it was seen as an entirely unremarkable gesture.

    • candymarl

You mean except for the fact that the Saudi King himself no longer allowed bowing.

He’s just the man Obama bowed to so who cares? Right?

      • IndianaDem

Personally I wouldn’t have cared if Obama had bowed and then backed off from the Saudi King moonwalking. I’m somewhat annoyed with the Saudis, for a variety of reasons.

        • Ferd Berfle

Bowing to a despot sets a bad precedence, irrespective of the party affiliation of the person bowing. I didn’t like Dubya’s kowtowing and I certainly don’t like That One doing the same. The Saudi King is scum.

    • C.S.

It would seem unremarkable for Saudi citizens seeing their Royalty respected with a deep bow from those considered inferior; after all what is remarkable in their country is seeing a woman behind the wheel of a car… or a girl daring to try to put her hands over her backside while being flogged.

Larry, who wrote that sappy Very Barry Koolaid piece?

Is that asking too much of a leader who had his heart and mind in the right place to see through the duplicity of Iraq war?

While they are acknowledging they were wrong with their “adulation” of the empty one, they still want to blame others, instead of where it lays, Obama. Obama said empty words claiming one thing, but doing another. Obama is sole responsible person. And by their constant excuse making, they are showing how still naive they are.

After all, by these koolaid drinking folks who keep making excuses for all the wrong things Obama is doing and saying, but want to give him credit for what ever turns out good even though he did nothing for the outcome, they should be saying how Dubya’ heart was in the right place, just he couldn’ fight off the powers that be that got in him the White House. (snark)

    • FLDemFem

      Well.. if Obummer is

a leader who had his heart and mind in the right place to see through the duplicity of Iraq war

then why did he vote, every single time, to keep funding the war? Not a peep out of him about it when he was in the Senate. Until he started running for President. He kept voting for the funding while attacking Bush for starting the war. So how did he have his heart and mind in the right place if he voted to keep funding the war and said nothing against it until it served his own interests.

  • wodiej

We should not be suprised at anything Oshithead does. He and his wife have no class, integrity, manners, sense of style or protocol. In a nutshell, they are IGNORANT.

I was watching a program on Switzerland. They are allowed to smoke marijuana there in public, they have some of the lowest taxes, there is little unemployment-if someone doesn’t have a job, they find them one or create one so they are not paying alot in unemployment. They’ll come up with a worthwhile program/service like running bicycle rentals for commuters. Instead of spending money housing drug abusers in prison, they provide them w clean needles, health checks and abuse counseling. They don’t have one person like a President. They have 7 and they work together to come to a consensus about all of their decisions-they don’t think one person should have that much power-imagine that.

Perhaps their public servants realize they really are PUBLIC SERVANTS.

    • Diana L. C.

Maybe it also has to do with their long-standing priciple of neutrality and the very limitied need to fund its small “military.”

Think of the percentage of the taxes we pay that go to military funding.

      • FLDemFem

In Switzerland, they literally have citizen-soldiers. Everyone in the country has military training, and upgrades it regularly. Those lovely mountains also contain their air force, whose planes are hangared inside the mountains, which uses the roads as runways when needed. In a time of war, Switzerland literally turns into an armed camp. The main reason the Swiss can maintain their neutrality, even against the Nazis, is that they are too damn hard to conquer. It would cost too much in casualties to take down Switzerland. The Swiss are famed throughout Europe as incomparable fighters. They protect the Pope, among others. When they were hired out as mercenaries during one of Europe’s many wars, they were the ones who commanders could count on not to take one step back. On one occasion, the commander needed the army to retreat and regroup, the Swiss insisted on being reassured that they would be paid anyway, since it was in their contract that they would not retreat. They got the reassurance, and the commander won that battle. You don’t mess with the Swiss, they have kicked the butts of most of the countries in Europe at one time or another, and in Europe, unlike the US, the historic memory is very long.

    • fgillypop

I wish our politicians in England remembered that they are our public servants as well.

    Larry,

You have too much time on your hands!

One second the Obamas are getting crusified for touching the back of the Queen, the next second they are getting crucified for bowing to a King. WHO CARES!

If this is all you got, then what a joke!

I am sure the U.S./Saudi relationship is in for some very big changes over the next four years.

Why don’t you write something meaningful instead of all this knit-picking and snipping. Give us some of your wisdom on the Saudis and what the U.S. can do with that relationship.

Your website is so juvenile and grade school at times. Hard to take seriously. You guys complain about everything. 90% of it is just garbage, like this post.

          Hey obot,

you’ve come to the wrong website. This is’nt the 0bama Jugend Camp where you can sign up for your slavish devotion to Teh Precious.

Get lost bot! You brought this incompetent neophyte upon our nation. The obots are responsible for and will be remembered as the idiots who forced Bush’s third term on the rest of us.

    • oowawa

90% of it is just garbage, like this post.

I’m sorry Julie. I’m sure you’ll do better next time.

    • lorac

Julie, since this website is so juvenile, I will give you a simple exercise. I sense that this year they haven’t covered “putting yourself in someone else’s shoes”, and since the school year is almost over, this exercise may help you.

Imagine that Oh Mr. Wonderful Obama was terribly, deeply disrespected by someone in his presence.

How would you feel? Would that be “garbage”? If you commented on it, would that be “complaining”?

Secondly, it’s so wonderfully “post-feminist” to have no concern about deep respect shown to a country that is probably the worst in regards to women. Matter of fact, it must be Oh Most Wonderful Bliss to not care about anything of substance.

    • lorac

“Give us some of your wisdom on the Saudis and what the U.S. can do with that relationship.”

I think perhaps we should send you to live in Saudi Arabia to experience it first hand. If you survive it, you can report back about why our president should have accorded them the most respect, and how we can work hand in hand with them to further our relationship.

Of course, if you come back with suggestions, we should all label them “complaints” and “garbage”.

Oh, wait – I forgot! – You are the one person allowed to have valid opinions.

    • wodiej

Not knowing protocol shows weakness, laziness and inexperience. Not realizing that and the importance is grade school- so what grade are you in?

Learn how to spell and use grammar and then come back and preach about what you think is important or not important.

Apparently we care, don’t like the thread, then leave.

    • I’m a Linda too

rofl Yet here YOU are reading the post and bothering to comment trying to pretend none of all the wrong and bad things and decisions Weary Barry is making matters.

Honey, if I were you, I wouldn’t be showing your ignorance. After all, you should have been consistent and claimed what ever is written about Weary Barry is all garbage, because that’s all you Obama supporters promoters can claim.

      …lets not deal with reality.

      • I’m a Linda too

btw, could you PLEASE ask the O Team for some new talking points? These are so tired and played.

I think they intentionally send you out with the same words that they use to describe yourself.

…garbage, juvenille, too much time on your hands, hard to take seriously.

…but we do enjoy your comic relief.

    • Ferd Berfle

      knit-picking and snipping.

Bots are not only stupid but illiterate, to boot.

Ok, Junior, time to get off the computer and get ready for your nap.

    • Ashy1

Sounds like you are the one knit-picking. Why don’t you try crocheting instead.

      • FLDemFem

The correct phrase is “nit-picking”, as in picking nits, which turn into lice, out of your hair. Has absolutely nothing to do with knitting. Or crocheting.

I’m sorry, I can’t resist. I’ve tried not to, but I just have the words running through my head.

Boo, booo…’Here [he] is, the [King] of garbage, the [King] of refuse, Go ahead and bow to[him] , bow, bow to the the [king] of putrecence….Bow down, bow down before [him]….Booo, boooo’

    And then later, lor Larry

    “I’m on the Brutt Squad”
    “Your ARE the Brutt Squad”

    • wodiej

      LOL…good movie.

  • EWard

Larry – Great insight into another Obama gaffe.

Instead of having tea parties on April 15, we need impeachment parties to remove Obama. Have a nation-wide boycott of all businesses and governmental agencies to get our voices heard over the Obama hacks.

  • HARP

I`m not sure but it looks like Obama was going in for a “Lewinsky” but changed his mind.

    • wodiej

      omg…LMAO

    • I’m a Linda too

Now this is baad-I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he knew that would excite the King (wink wink) Or maybe we should use his own and say he was going for a “Sinclair”.

  • trixta

Hillary or Bust, according to reports the Obama admin wants to have control over the internet under the guise of “national security.” Does that perk up Gen-Xers’ ears?

  • I’mFedUp

What I just love…Obama gives America the finger all day long, every day, and the self hating left applauds him for it. He’s not hiding his contempt for America from anyone. He started it with the refusal to put his hand over his heart and it’s gone downhill since. Obama reveres his Muslim heritage, and people like the Saudis. And what do the morons in this pitiful country do? They rave about the loser. He’s a complete utter disaster and every day he’s in office is another nail in our coffin. But I will never understand how it can be so obvious that a bunch of self hating lefties pushing this crapstain on this country but the media lets him slide. When the dust finally settles, maybe the Obots will read the Constitution that Obama has pissed on.

Apparently the New York Times chastised Bill Clinton in 1994 for a semi-half bow to the Emperor of Japan. Will they do the same to Obama whose bow was full blown?

    http://www.nytimes.com/1994/06/19/weekinreview/the-world-the-president-s-inclination-no-it-wasn-t-a-bow-bow.html

    Michelle Malkin said:
“The whole thing is embarrassing. Its like the `American Hillbillies go to Europe’. He is throwing American power and prestige out with both hands as fast as he can.”

Dakota Voice contributor Bob Ellis said the bow was a gesture of submission.
“The leader of the most free nation in the world should not be slobbering on the ring of some king,” Ellis wrote.

    • Thinker

wow. This is how they react to Bill Clinton’s slight headnod but say nothing to Obama being damn near on the floor????

  • DAB

According to an article in World Net Daily “The action appeared especially awkward since among the dozens of world leaders and their spouses, handshakes abounded, but there appeared to be no other bowing in the room.”

  • Sassy

I suppose BO would have shined the Kings shoes to insure they keep the “black gold” flowing!
The economy is bad enough without these oil barons reaming us again shortly!

  • http://www.barackobamastate.com Barack Obama State

    Watch Barack Obama video.

  • beachnan

I wonder how long it will take MSM to bring this up? I wouldn’t hold my breath while waiting. It does seem ridiculous that the left was always making a big deal about Bush’s relationship with the Saudis, but they will do everything they can to dismiss Obama’s actions in reference to the submissive bow. The left is looking more ridiculous by the day, as the make excuse, after excuse, after excuse…

  • Elliott

Does the US military bow? Does the commander in chief? How do our officers, sailors, soldiers and veterans feel about the commander in chief bowing before a tyrant? The media has to cover this up because there are millions of people in this country that know no American ever bows to any kind of royalty.
This is one of many reasons that the revolution was fought as we bow to no one. Ever.

  • Diana

Awww it’s all gonna be Ok cause he’s Obamaman. ;) Obamaman can cause he says it all with charm and makes it all sound good.(Sorry it just seemed so fitting)
