I think the republicans like to SEE themselves as dirty rotten bastards, underneath it all, they’re really cowardly, but they will not respond to a handshake, they only respond when intimidated, period.

Reason was already tried with the republicans, it failed, and it will fail, again.

But Obama already thinks like a Republican, so I expect he won’t have too much trouble.

Republicans just can’t lose, either McCain or Obama, no wonder they’re so enthusiastic about his candidacy.

wait…left wingers attack their own. This is the problem right here…how do I, or someone else become “left wing” and attack “our own” if, 1) I don’t espouse Left Wing policy, don’t agree with many “left wing” values”, and
2) I ain’t got no “my own” in this game. Obama isn’t my own. Clinton isn’t my own, nor was Edwards, Dodd, Biden, or anyone else. Kucinich is closer to being “my own” but thats only because I’ve actually met him, know about where he stands more than the rest, and had the bravery to call for impeachment.

People who want to impeach and incarcerate this administration and its enablers, are MY OWN. People who want to hold every single asshole in Washington and abroad for their crimes against our citizens and abroad, those are “my own” people.

I come here because this site is no bullshit. If you want Daily Kos, then go there. I hope you’ll stay and open your eyes up that these people, including the drive by jerks, are calling it like they see it. Don’t like it, thats you friend. This is an elective part of the web. Get used to it.

Here’s the damn irony…weeks ago I said, I will not vote for either candidate. Each and every attack you launch on Hillary Clinton only makes me want to vote for her. And we have a primary in Texas in a few weeks, so buckle up bucko.

I am amazed at the number of people commenting on Che Guevarra who wouldn’t be able to tell him from Tom Mix. First Che was an Argentine National who helped Castro bring the wonders of Marxism to Cuba. He was responsible for the torture and execution of political prisoners. After getting bored with that, he moved to the Congo with Cuban volunteers and attempted to overthrow that government. When that venture turned into a complete flop, he turned his attention to Bolivia. He managed to get himself captured after getting lost in the mountain jungle there and was killed probably by the Bolivians. Except for Cuba, everything else he tried was a complete flop. Thus he gets his face on flags, posters and T-shirts. The untra-chic extreme left equivilent of George Bush achieving sainthood. One thing people have trouble learning is that just because someone opposes something bad, that doesn’t automatically make them good. Change doesn’t have to be an improvement. Showing Che’s picture was either ignorant or stupid.

This is the kind of stuff that happens to an undisciplined campaign. They aren’t really into the impression that the are sending out. However, impressions and especially negative ones can stick around for a long time.

Susan, thanks for everything you have tried to do. I’m afraid that Obama is going to be the nominee and we are going to lose in a landslide. One appearance from Osama before the Nov. election will probably give it to McCain.

Voters have forgotten that “strong and wrong” wins over “weak and right” everytime.

I didn’t assume anything about “obama supporters”, i’m only relaying what I know about the locals, not assumption, based on the photo, and even said, I don’t know where that location is. Often here, one location serves several organizations. A Campaign office might be in the same center as a ‘peace and justice’ organization.

And I would be cautious about assuming what “young oborgs” are aware of, and limit them to our experiences. I know what you mean and I experience the same thing with young Ron Paul supporters who overlap with Alex Jones peeps. They cannot handle that I will not accept their 9/11 theories, though I can rattle them off verbatim to them. I don’t put my feet on sand and call it stable.

But…where do we disagree now? as you basically still agree with me, i think….could be wrong.

You know, I clicked on some of those right wing websites just to see their take on this and am reminded exactly why Susan posted this. No democratic nominee is safe from those bastards. None. Every one will write and say odious things about whoever the democratic candidate is and that is just the way it is. So, to all of you who are supporting Obama because you think he is more electable you should have your heads examined. He is going to get the same treatment that Hillary will get. The question is: How will he deal with it? and how will he overcome the right wing smear campaign? These are fair questions that everyone should be asking themselves. If you want to support Obama because you like his message or you like his flip-flopping, or you like his unwarranted arrogance then fine. That is great, more power to you. If you like him because you think the right wingers won’t attack him as much then you need to get a grip. The moral of the story that so many seem to have missed is that EVERY voter should vote for the candidate they like the best and not who the rightwingers find least offensive. I don’t really care if you vote or Hillary or Obama if they are the one you think will be the best president.

For me personally since I am a hard core partisan liberal I have to have the candidate that undoubtedly will stand up for the principles that I adore. That is why I am not voting for Obama. How many times is he going to say that he is not a liberal? How many ways? I want someone who is going to draw a line in the sand and not negotiate with those whack jobs on the conservative side. By stating that he isn’t a liberal Obama has already capitulated. He has already said to the conservatives that you are right and I am wrong. Nothing is more infuriating for me than having a candidate from either party who won’t stand up for the parties agenda or their own ideals. Republicans never have this problem, ever. They always state very clearly that they are conservatives and they dare anyone to attack them on it. Of course no one ever does. Why? Because they are convinced they are right.
