I think Obama is probably a great person, he's obviously intelligent and on occasion a great orator. There are many things to admire about him. However, he's been on this meteoric rise and all sorts of people have latched onto him in the process, in one way or another for their own advantage. This is all normal politicking, of course, but there are alot of sharks out there. It's not a kiddie pool he's wading in. Every politician has to beware of the shady donors. Money is so seductive, especially when you need it to run a campaign it's hard to say no. Many have made bad decisions and had to deal with the fallout. The problem I have is that Obama has been very naive in this area. Hillary appears to have learned her hard lessons about campaign donors and influence peddling and where the legal boundaries are and survived it, so is much smarter about it now. Just one of many reasons I think Obama might be a better candidate in 2016. Experience and savvy are important and take time to develop. Ya know..
