As far as Clinton goes, I understand there may be skeletons in her closet, too, it isn’t a matter of giving “my candidate” (who was Edwards, btw) a free ride.

Ultimately, this is about corruption, democrats and republicans taking money from those who would harm our national security, bottom line.

Most of us know that the Republicans are gong to rapidly deflate the Prince of Platitudes and that McCain is the obvious winner of another McGovern/Mondale debacle, at best a Kerry loss. Knowing this, it really doesn’t make much sense to worry about the “good of the party”, what are you going to do, rearrange the rubble?
I’d keep Clinton in the race until the convention.

This is my reasoning:

By mid-May the delegates from the rest of the primaries will be chump change and the media, if they do not find another Terri Shiavo or Anna Nicole Smith to bird-dog, will be left to focus on Obama without the benefit of the cheering morons. Three months of staring into that vacuum is going to prompt them to dig for a better story just to keep their minds from tuning to pabulum, stories like the ones that you nice folks have been flogging Johnson about plastering all over the blog.

The superdelegates will flock to Obama if he does well in Texas and is not trounced to thoroughly in Ohio. They are still political animals, though, and if no one can find a “there” there in Obama by convention time OR if the Republicans screw up and do it for them, the feckless bastards will troop back. AND

One—- We get to have a real convention.

Two— You nominate Clinton after the Republicans have spent the last three month’s resources beating the living Jesus out of Obama.

I urge anyone who, in the heat of this ugly campaign, thinks of giving up on Russ Feingold to read about the Senator and what he’s done for us in D.C. He is a good man.

The problem being, though, Obama is filthy, with ties to those who might be responsible for terrorism, in the US, and the world. In addition, at the very least, Obama is corrupt, through Daley, and in no way should be President.

Why is Feingold advocating for a man SO unqualified to hold the nation’s highest elected office? It makes me question his ability to make a good decision, to see things as they are, or, it says to me, he’s getting something, and now he’s tainted, too. There is no way to win by endorsing Obama, period.

The damage Bush has done is indescribable, and now Feingold is backing the democratic Bush?

Yes. This for Farrakhan who has trashed both Jews and Judasim openly and often. Obama has distanced himself from Wright of late, but this is the church and pastor he calls friend and home.

There’s the filthy stuff in the Chicago slime political machine starting with the manner Obama was mentored and then clawed his way into Ill. Senate; his patronage from fundraiser/slumlord Tony Rezko,along with the moneylaundering Iraq scheme Rezko was jailed for & awaits trial on 2/25. Previous to Rezko’s arrest he had been indicted pending trial for kickbacks, fraud, and corruption. Rezko was Obama’s fundraiser that enabled both of his Senate elections, and have known each other for 17 years.

There are many issues that relate to character,honesty, & affiliations to black anarchist organizations, his ties with Rezko and the sweetheart real estste deal he accepted from felon Rezko. And the connection to a former Weatherman and Obama donor, Ayres.

There is much vetting that democrats have not been afforded. So, are we waiting for Rove and the GOP to do this for us? I feel that democrats need to know more about the awesome awesomness and find out what The Precious is all about.
